    Beautiful sunny morning.
    Towels out on the line.

    Plant,congratulations for another GGC.

Friends have asked us to go for a pub meal.Hopefully today.
They have a delivery coming, depending on what time it comes,it might be tomorrow when they can go.
If we can't go today,it will chips, egg and beans or peas.

Bin men were here at 7 this morning. Should have come yesterday.

Shopping being delivered between 9 and 10.

Gem, hope you got some sleep.

Good Thursday morning, everyone. The sun's shining, but I don't know for how long.

Nanto, thank goodness we don't have to do our washing with a tub and a washboard these days. Your towels should dry nicely. Enjoy your pub meal, whichever day it is.

OH has to go out shopping for bits and pieces for his kit car today. He kindly invited me along, but I declined. The prospect of driving round industrial estates looking for exactly the right bits and pieces doesn't thrill me! I'll stay home and do the ironing.

        Good morning everyone.
I slept quite well. The physio told me I didn't have to lie on my back ( which nurses had told me the first night) so that helped I think.

I've had breakfast and all the painkillers and got myself washed and dressed. Waiting for physio.
Still don't know if I will go home today, but have ordered my meals up to tomorrow's breakfast.

Sunny morning here, much nicer day than yesterday.

Gems so pleased you had a reasonable night you are so brave.

Congrats Plant on the new addition another little bindle to cherish & cuddle they grow I can't believe how fast the time has gone since my little GGS arrived he is 6mths old now wow !!

This evening I am out for a late Birthday tea-time treat with DS1 & DGD after school we are off to a Harvester restaurant not too far from me it has views on to The Mersey so will be pleasant
eating and watching over the River there is a big Cruise ship at the minute so should be nice.

Ex-DIL is playing up again she is changing dropping off times after Thursday pick-ups she has only just notified us she will not be home until later in the evenings she knows DS has to start his night shifts at 10pm and that the extra time will do him out of sleep before his shift she is a madam. I am keeping my own council about this DS is taking it in his stride at the moment.

The weather is good today sun shining and the washing drying nicely DS has his clothes drying in the garden and doing some ironing he is away for a few days next week so he is excited to say the least such a joy to see him back to his normal self.

It is my youngest son's 10th wedding anniversary today it hardly seems that long ago when I was choosing my outfit for the day they have no children as yet and to be truthful I don't think they will they are more interested in their dogs they spend all their spare time with them.

Off now for shower & hair wash before getting ready later for meal out with my favourite people x bye for now

            Afternoon all
It’s quite sunny but cold out.

            Glam
Enjoy your meal out with your favourite people 😁
These DILs need a slap sometimes don’t they.

            Gem
Fingers crossed they let you escape today , be good do as they tell you 😁🥰

            Daisy
Now how could you turn down a day of industrial estate visits 😁 you may never get another chance of such a thrilling day 🤣

            Nanto
Hope you get out for your lunch , but you know these deliveries can be a law unto themselves ,
Your back up meal is delicious anyway 😁

Been to MILs she wasn’t too bad, her usual moans
Doesnt like the flash duster I got last week after I had to take the other one back I had bought the previous week ,
She had ripped the package and used it so no way was I taking it back .
Could I find a feather one for her , she was told firmly NO she would have to get his sister to get one I wasn’t doing it a third time.
She complained about the house over the road again doesn’t want kids in ,
She had phoned the housing and told them that and wasn’t impressed when they told her it wasn’t up to her and wouldn’t discuss it,
She was most put out , couldn’t understand when we started laughing ,
B said Mother your unbelievable at times you forget you had 5 children of your own.

Apart from that she was ok , put her meals in the freezer opened the new Duvet and put it over the spare bed to fluff out after being squashed in the pack and put bin out so she was happy about that.

it’s coming over black again I think we in for more rain ,
We have the dog this afternoon he’s asleep in the garden might have to bring him in .
Im not fat just 6ft too small

hallo everyone, we have had rain all the morning, it seems to be easing now though.

I have finally started on the growing chart for GD2! I have had everything in house for months so thought I would make a start.

Oma, you do well to put up with MIL!

Glam, enjoy the meal, it will be lovely to sit and watch the river!

Daisy, at least not going with your DH was an excuse to get your ironing done!

Glam , enjoy your lovely meal with your two favourite people, you are lucky to be able to sit and watch the river and the ships. Pleased to read your son is now settled into a new life, Dil sounds a very spiteful lady.

Oma, we have had a lot of rain too, it was sunny this morning but is looking threatening rain now. I think it feels very Autumnal even when the sun shines. Your Mil is a case and sometimes very amusing although I imagine she doesn’t realise how outrageous she is. Fancy ringing the council and voicing her opinion about the new occupants of the house across from her.

Daisy, I think I would have preferred a day out instead of the ironing.

Lizzie, usually I need (and find) an excuse NOT to do the ironing, so you can tell how much I wanted to avoid the shopping! Will it take a long time to make the growing chart for GD2? Is it a craft project?

Oma, your MIL takes the biscuit sometimes. I can just imagine the expression on the face of the person she spoke to about the house across the road! I bet Storm would be quite happy sleeping in the rain.

Glamm, I hope it stays nice for your meal this evening - it will be lovely watching the shipping etc in the sunset. Your ex-DIL needs to grow up. Congratulations to your youngest DS and his wife on their 10th anniversary. Are they going out to celebrate?

Gem, I hope the physio is going well. Do you know if you can go home today?

We're having sunshine and showers but it's too wet to do anything outside. Still plenty to do around the house. I've put a casserole in the oven - OH has got wood turning club tonight so has to go out just after 6 o'clock, which means a very early dinner for us.

Nanto, up with the lark and washing on the line, I didn’t wake up until 9am

Lizzie, not sure what a growing chart is?

Gemini, I do hope you get discharged today, your own bed is so welcoming

I have been to the Library with GD and H to change her books, H is now asleep next door. GD is hoping she can leave her with DD and Sil whilst she is at the opticians. I have to go out later to deliver presents to my GD1, it is her birthday today, she will be at her other Grandparents as they fetch her from school. Then I will go onto my DS and Dil with a present for her, it is her birthday tomorrow. All go here today.

Plant, family birthdays are like buses - there isn't one for ages then you get two together! I hope both the birthday girls have lovely birthdays and lots of fun. xx

image.pngimage.pngThis is the idea Plant, I have measured the GC, and my own boys, over the years and kept the records! Now the plan is to make the chart with GD2.
