Nanto, I think you are very clever with your graphics, I shall keep trying.

Gemini, you have some lovely friends, I am sure they and the family will keep you happy and make sure you rest.

Oma, butter indeed, that is one spoilt dog. We had a lot of rain yesterday and terrible thunder in the night.

Nothing much to be done at the dentist. The dentist is quite close to Waitrose so I will be popping in there for some bits. I am hoping to get a start on the Quince jelly making. H has just been in with her Papa, they are going out around the village on her trike, it is something like a go-cart where she can peddle if she wants to and someone pushes it. Her papa makes me laugh, he goes with a potty in the basket. The fair will be dismantling and moving on today.

Daisy, we could do with some of those squeezers in the village to slow down the traffic. It is a bit of joke guessing which part of the roads will be shut each day, sink holes have appeared in a couple of roads.
What is life if full of care we have no time to stand and stare

Last day in the sunshine. It's been a lovey break, much better than the organised tours I've tried! Been able to do my own thing at my own pace.

        Back to reality tomorrow.

Hope all goes well with the op, Gem!

Oh Gems I am now fancying Rice Pudding I think I shall make a small one for DS & myself for tomorrow.

The weather has changed today it is raining really hard coming down in sheets the poor boy who came to collect my car this morning was drenched and he was just dropped off outside my house to collect the keys.

I've done all I intend to do today its a lazy day for me,I've changed the covers on the scatter cushions & put out fresh throws on the sides of the sofa's but can't put out the washed ones until the rain stops, according to the local forecast the rain is here for a couple of days.

To-day I may sit and find some films/series to watch on Netflix I'm not using it as much as I should and now there is nothing really interesting me on normal TV I may as well use it.

Oma next doors dog does not like cats he chased after one when he was taken out of the back of his owners car on Saturday so I don't think he will like my Ollie.
The guy has not moved in yet so just don't know if he is quiet or not he will possibly move in this week all the services has been reconnected so it won't be too long.

Gems have a relaxing day sweetie I hope you are not to nervous you will be grand enjoy all the TLC coming your way in the next few weeks sending virtual hugs to you.

          Bye for now talk soonx

Oma, we had rice pudding when we went to that friend's house for a meal a while ago and it was Delicious! I'm looking forward to her bringing me some

My reflexologist bought me a lovely card and some cookies, people are very kind.

Plant, yes I feel sure with OH, DDs and friends I will be looked after well once I'm home.

Thanks for the Hugs Glamma! I am nervous but I will be fine.

It's wet and miserable here! Luckily we got some washing more or less dry before it started.
My case is packed apart from last minute stuff, and Alexa is set to wake me up at 6.15.
Just a relaxing afternoon for me.

Sorry ladies,i deleted the wrong graphic.

Yes Gem, relax for the rest of the day.

We had sunshine earlier and i got the washing dry.
Its been raining off and on since about 11.30.

We love rice pudding as well. I know someone that makes a slow cooker full.
She then portions it up for the freezer. I would love to do this.
But, at the moment our freezers are so full,i wouldn't get it in.

hallo, we had one shower at 6am but is has been dry since, we have been to aqua, a new young boy doing the lesson, he is from Croatia and can he move!!!! I don't think he realises we are all 50++++, we coped though and all enjoyed it. I went in the car as it is quite windy and I couldn't be bothered to go on the bike this time.

Gem, I will be thinking of you tomorrow!xxxxx

I can't remember the last time I ate rice pudding, it was one of my fathers favourites! DS1 used to love the Ambrosia tinned rice when visiting his nan!

We have got the confirmation that the work on the apartments will start in January, we have to vote yet though and 70% have to vote for it, it is all about saving energy etc etc. New windows, doors, the boiler is going, the gas is being removed etc. A lot of work.

Lizzie,I know what you mean about the aqua classes. Sometimes when we get someone standing in, I think they forget we are not 20 year olds!

WeeGranny, so pleased to hear you've had a lovely time. You're a free spirit and like the freedom of a 'do-as-you-please' break.

Gem and Lizzie, well done on keeping up with the harder aqua instructors. Lizzie, it sounds as though all the alterations are going to be quite disruptive. Will you have to move out of your flat?

Glamm, did you find anything good to watch on Netflix? You need a lazy day sometimes. I hope Oliver and the new dog next door get used to each other.

Nanto, my DIL makes huge pots of dairy-free rice pudding, which my GS1 loves.

Gem, I hope you get some sleep tonight. It's natural to feel a bit nervous, but you will be fine after tomorrow and just need to concentrate on getting better. xxx

Oma, Storm has got you so well trained.

Plant, we had thunder last night as well. I had to smile at Papa taking H's potty in a basket. Does she ask to use it yet?

After heavy rain this morning it brightened up, and then later the wind got up as well, so I dried several loads of washing. How sad that that makes me happy!!!

I've even done some of the ironing and pushed the sucky up thing round downstairs. Tomorrow looks like more of the same, but I'm having a blitz this week after a couple of busy weeks and more to come.

I will probably talk to you some time later today.

                        Hope all goes well Gem.

We got up this morning and saw a big spider walking round the kitchen as if he/she owned it.
Hubby caught it and put it outside.

Started raining about half an hour ago.

Not sure what is happening today. Hubby supposed to be helping bro in law with something.
Don't know what time we will get back, so it might be fish and chips or a ready meal.

Good Tuesday morning, everyone. We've got a blustery wind this morning, but if the rain holds off I might get some washing out on the line.

Gem, I bet that tea tasted good, but the next one (after your op) will taste even better. Take care. xxx

Nanto, the spiders are almost lining up to get into our house. Fortunately neither of us mind them, and just put them out on the log store. Nice to have a day off the cooking.

If the rain hold off I want to take in the last of the tomatoes and clear the troughs ready for some winter crops - don't know what yet! It might end up being winter flowering pansies for a bit of colour.

                            Morning ladies

                            Gem
Hope your first Down and no hanging around that’s the worst if that happens ,
Let us know when you can but don’t worry about it, all in your own time xxx

                            Nanto
Spiders are nor allowed to live in my house at all , it’s head bashed in or sucked up the hoover and spun around enough to either kill it or make it too dizzy to find it’s way out again 😁

                            Daisy
you are busy 😁 , When it’s wet weather there isn’t much you can do outside is there so getting those jobs done you have put off in the summer is always something to do.

                            Lizzie
Sounds like a lot of improvements are going to be starting in January ,
Hope the weather is kind and you don’t have to have doors and windows open .

In our old house we had new windows put in and it was snowing ,
Theydid upstairs first then when they. Did downstairs myself and my bird went upstairs I wrapped a blanket around the bird cage to keep him warm and I got into bed till they finished 😁

                            WG
Sounds like you had the ideal holiday , back to normality now though as you say 🙄😁

                            Glamm
Did you find anything to watch?
I watch very little TV , I’m not a fan of soaps or realityTV

Did you get the other throws dry or did you have to dry them indoors ,not been the best weather has it compared to when we were in Brum .

Well as usual it’s dark and raining ,
Got man coming to do the 6 monthly stairlift service and B has a telephone consultation with the rheumatologist,
Although what they can do over the phone is a mystery,

Yesterday we went out and my neighbours car boot was open , we live at the top of the cul de sac they at the bottom , we don’t see much of them

I thought they were taking something in the house so didn’t stop and knock ,
Hour later we came home and it was still open , so B went to ours and I got out and knocked ,
She said it’s done that a few times just opened itself so she was going to ring the garage.

I haven’t seen her in such along time but I was shocked how old and frail she looked,
She told me she had fallen and broke her hip and thigh bone and had been in hospital along time and she was finding it difficult to get well again .

This lady had had a colourful life
she had been a Nun for many years then in her 40s she had met her now Husband at some church function they fell in love and she left the Convent , they went on to have a Daughter and she’s very happy with her life ,

Such a lovely lady, Im not keen on her husband In fact none of the neighbours are ,
in the 19 years I’ve lived here I think we have spoken maybe 3 times .
He speaks to no one and just ignores you if you pass and say hello , but she is happy so who are we to judge .
Im not fat just 6ft too small

Daisy/Oma I have made a list of series etc which I may find interesting over the next few months some look better than others, some decent new series may come on normal TV over the winter months with a bit of luck.

All OK with my car passed the MOT with flying colours and sailed through the yearly service just needed to pay £24 .95 for the engine to be washed through and the oil changed so all good for another year.
