Salad with chicken for dinner today. Salad not my favourite.
I'll just have a little bit,because i refuse to do 2 different meals.

A lovely bright day .
We popping down the street to Iceland then Matalan but that's about it today
Got out of the shower today getting dried happen to look round and there was a huge spider on the shower curtain .
Never moved so quick . Glad I didn't clock it when I was getting showered. Needless to say it lives no more

Nanto I love a salad , B is like you he will pick at one but not a lover .

Good morning ladies,

DD3, SIL and baby were here all afternoon and evening yesterday so no online time! I got lots of cuddles and changed my first nappy (for this baby!)
DD's dad is one of those rare men who loves tiny babies and gets less good with them as they grow older! He is going to see them today. I told DD he will gladly look after the baby all day!

Today we are taking my mum to the coast - hopefully!
The sun is shining and there is no rain forecast. Mum eats so little now and can hardly see whats she's eating, so I think an eat-in cafe as we had planned may not work. We will probably eat overlooking the sea as we did last year. She really enjoyed that, and we will take a nice warm blanket in case mum gets chilly.

Thanks Nan2! The journey there and back will be difficult due to her confusions, but we hope the overall experience will be worth it. Despite it being a year since we last took her she still remembers that day.

Good Friday morning everyone. It's raining here, but due to be dry later this morning.

Gem - I hope you have a good day out with your mum. It's great that she remembers the last time, and I think eating outside overlooking the sea would be a much better experience for her than eating in. I hope the weather co-operates. It's lovely that your DDs' Dad is so good with tiny babies. It's quite unusual, isn't it.

Oma - what a good job you didn't see the spider sooner!

Nanto - I don't like having to do two different meals either, although it was the norm when all the family were at home and sometimes ended up doing 3. It's much easier now there are just the 2 of us. I love a good salad, but agree some can be quite boring.

Nothing planned for us today - I'll just go with the flow.

Hallo everyone, still very humid here, rain forecast for later.

I have been for my treatment and just been to the AA shop in Delft, I wear sneakers indoors as I have to wear the soles, the ones I have from the AA are a few years old and need replacing, I have been keeping my eye open for the same shoe, yesterday I got a mail and the shoes were in the sale so I ordered them straight away, I know the soles fit in them and that they are light for in the house.

Oma, we do spoil them!! I was at DS1 yesterday afternoon and I was telling GD1 I had seen one of those beauty boxes, I have got them for her a few times, she had a look at what it all was and said "yes please nan"!!! So, a beauty box is ordered. She was weeding the front path as I left, I went back to help her, we were behind a fence so I told her if I kept low and hidden from sight, like Mr Bean does, her parents wouldn't know I had been helping! She said I had to make the face expressions as well. We were soon finished so we were both pleased.

GD2 was at a friends for a sleepover.

Oma, spiders don't bother me really, I always try to get them outside, alive, as my mother was very superstitious and we couldn't kill them!

Nanto, I love salads, any kind of salad I can eat!

We had rain now we have sunshine, no real plans today, I will just go with the flow. I think baby H will be here for a time, her mother is going to the hairdressers.

Oma, I thought I would look for a lacy shawl to wear to the wedding next month to cover up my arms a bit although nobody will be looking at me. What are you looking for in Matalan.
That poor spider, I am sure he was as frightened as you. Do you dislike daddy long legs too, I seem to be putting them out every day and I warn them not to come back.

Nanto, I like certain part of a salad, haven’t tasted a decent lettuce for years and I haven’t had a tasty tomato this year. I need to use up my eggs so it is an omelette or a hard boiled egg salad for me tonight.

I don’t seem to have posted this, sorry if it is a repeat.

I wanted new PJ bottoms ,
Came out with two pair and two blouses ,
I looked at the dresses but unless your 7ft tall your not in luck , even the PJ bottoms need about 4 inches off 🙄😂

Your right about lettuce it’s hard to find something with a bit bite to it but tasty , I have been buying crisp mixed leaves but sometimes they are very scrappy bits in the bag .

I don’t mind Daddylong legs or moths , I will catch them with my hand and put them outside but spiders are a no no in my eyes , hate them .
Either sucked upon the hoover or squashed , this one was squashed and flushed down the loo

hope the shoes are comfy , my friend can’t wear slippers , no matter what kind are too tight , she tends to wear flat pumps , she found somewhere that make them with soft leather and are extra wide .

She even tried socks with grips on the bottom for the house but they dug into her skin .
She doesn’t get on her feet much these days so often goes barefooted indoors .

Oma, ,my feet and hands are never swollen at all, I have a broad foot but always have had, I remember my poor mother shoe shopping for me at 11 years old! I have the special soles for the arthritis in foot and they help.

Been to Asda this afternoon. It was very busy.
I thought we were going shopping tomorrow and going into Wakefield.
But,hubby wants to do the gardening tomorrow,weather permitting.

Plant, i don't think there is ever much taste to a lettuce.
We are eating hubby's homegrown tomatoes and they are full of flavour.

I got a Pavers brochure in the post yesterday,and there is 2 pairs i like the look of.
Going to have a look at them online. I might be treating myself.

Oma, its moths I am terrified off, spiders don't bother me at all. Tizzy felt as I do about moths!

Very good day - mostly. I will write about it tomorrow. The fresh air did mum good and she loved being at the seaside. The drive back was so trying , especially to me, we had to go to the pub near mum's care home after dropping her off I will make a new thread tomorrow.

Going to shower, get into PJs unwind and watch TV now
