After a cloudy start,it turned out very warm when the sun came out.

Had a visit from hubby's sister this afternoon.
We had a good long natter.
5 minutes after she left, dad arrived.
He stayed for tea and biscuits.

Glamma, hope you are loving your new car.

Avo - I far too late to wish you bon voyage, but I hope you've arrived safely and didn't have to stand in the baggage queue for no reason. How lovely to be spending time with your friends as well. I bet doggo enjoys her holiday, too.

Glamm - are you enjoying your lovely new car? Is it nice to drive and well as looking pretty? Jim is doing well by the sounds of it. I hope your youngest DS and DIL enjoy their glamping. Where are they going?

Gem - I'm sure it's good to have time to have a chat with the Librarian sometimes - it helps to make you feel part of the team (which of course you are!) and well as being fun.

WeeGranny - it's funny how the crops between one type of apples and another can vary so much. You're right about too much housework not being good for anyone.

Nanto - you must have felt you were running a cafe this afternoon - but lovely to see them, I'm sure.

Dog training went fine - I've written on Eva's thread about it.

Looks like it will be another nice day.
Got a load of lights in the washer.
Jacket potatoes for dinner today. Hubby will have cheese and beans, just butter for me.
        Have a good day ladies.

Another busy day, swimming this morning, outdoor bowls this afternoon, I also have to make a cake for the village show cake sale on Sat. My DD had both of her GD’s yesterday, it was lovely to see them together. Baby H took up a lot of DD’s time so I had a lovely time with GD1, she will be two next week.

I hope it will be another nice day today Nanto, it was very warm here yesterday.

          I will pop back later.

Oma enjoy your couple of days away I am green with envy.

Daisy my son and DIL are going to Derbyshire somewhere they enjoy the outdoors just hoping their dog will settle mind you as long as my son doesn't go far away from him he will settle.

WeeGranny I have decided the colour of my little car is a peachy/coral colour rather than pink all the trim inside is cream and the salesman fitted my sparkly steering wheel cover from my old car on for me,it was great to drive without listening for any clunks and splutters .

All my floors done and washing hanging out I am expecting my friend to stay again this week-end she felt unwell yesterday so will have to see how she feels I do enjoy the company.

It is a lovely day, I have had a short bike ride but with the cystitis I can't stray too far, if there is no toilet along the way I am stuck!

I got a box from the Lidl yesterday, including banana's so I have just made a , healthy, banana bread, made with ground almonds so I will see what it is like, my plan is to slice it and put the slices in the freezer so I can take a slice with me when I am out and about.
