    Good morning ladies ,

FQ little fairy's make everything better dont they

Gem hope the op goes ahead today your poor Mum will be confused why she's being starved two days in a row .

Nanto we have for once lovely sunshine

Up early and did what needed doing then we popped down the road to Lidl to get fresh rolls ,
came back and our elderly neighbours were on the way out so had a chat with them ,

Going to DD's in a hour or so , her car is in for repair today ,
She was in shopping centre car park and a old man reversed into her car , he tried to deny it saying it was her fault ( she was in a bay ) so not sure how he came to that conclusion ,
Anyway lots of witnesses and CCTV cameras ,
He then asked her to let him pay for the repairs without going through his insurance as he was now on his wife's insurance after a few bumps of his own ,

We think he shouldnt be driving he must have had quite a few bumps if his own insurance is too high to get now , B said maybe he has had his licence taken away so not insured at all and this is a excuse

Its not a lot of damage mostly paint work but its going to cost him £280

GM how's the Arm , did you get any sleep ?

Plant any word on sex of baby yet ?

Enfys just read £95 for a eye test that's shocking having a laugh arnt they

Lizzie how was the pool did you enjoy it ?

Daisy what are the Daisy's up too today , how is DS doing i bet he is fed up now doing nothing as such , is GS still doing night watchman duties with him .

I will pop back later have a good day ladies xxx

Plant, I noticed that Lizzie has started back at her pool. My GS1 had a few swimming lessons during the school holidays. Like you they had to come out in their wet things. DD put lots of bath towels on the car seat!! If you have a thick towelling dressing gown (which leaves you freedom to drive safely) that may be an idea. I know how much you have missed all your activities.

Oma, poor DD. You may remember a few years ago exactly the same thing happened to me in Tesco car park. The man didn't look in his mirror at all before reversing into the side of my car. He tried to blame me. Luckily I had a witness in the car next to me.

Oma, the pool was great, we shall have to see how it goes in the future but yesterday back to what it was. Plant, our changing rooms were open so no wet and soppy car drive!

It is drizzly here but not cold, I have cleaned my car and will have a bike ride. The doctor at 2pm for my toe and blood pressure taken.

            So busy Lizzie!

Mum went for her operation earlier this morning, not heard anything yet.

              Good moaning each.
FQ you have to keep taking the medicine! Hope the bonce is feeling less sore today.
Thank you all for your kind wishes, I hurt but at least I managed to get a baggy top on over the arm which is an improvement on yesterday’s dressing gown.
I am going to watch Netflix without feeling guilty now 😁
Gem, I hope the op goes well.
              Have a good day gels.

Good morning ladies - it's been an early start for me! I went and collected Cooper (FairyQueen - this is DS2's Hungarian Vizsla. He's nearly 3 in his bones and about 3 months in his brain!!) He gave me a great welcome and he and Eva are currently playing happily chasing each other for toys etc.

Lizzie - how lovely to get back in the pool - I'm sure you felt much better for it. I hope the trip to the doctors goes well. Is your toe still improving?

Plant - this baby is keeping us guessing, isn't s/he! The main thing is that all is well. Enjoy meeting up with your Guiding friends.

Oma - it sounds as though that man was chancing his luck a bit. I don't know how people can accuse the other driver when their car is parked up! I hope you get your sunglasses sorted out ok.

GM - Did you got a decent night's sleep and your arm wasn't too painful Is OH still peeling grapes for you?

FairyQueen - I hope your aches and pains are easing off, and your neck and back aren't any worse. Fizz is always good medicine! And so are little fairies tearing round the house! Do your granddaughters play well together?

Nanto - what pretty flowers. Summer is still with us! It was warm last night. I got home about 8.30 and it was warmer outside than in the car! It's not bad today - patchy sunshine and still quite warm.

Gem - I do hope you get some good news about your mum today. Sending hugs. xx

No plant for us today - I'll update on DS1 in that thread in a minute.

EDIT: Grauntie - our posts crossed. Yes, a day of indulgent Netflix sounds good, and I'm sure the baggy jumper is very elegant. xx

Morning Daisy . Cooper sounds amazing! I love dogs. I have a little dachshund. She’s 14 now but still quite healthy. How lovely that cooper and Eva play together. My grand daughters do play together although the two year old fairy is still at the tantrum stage where she wants everything and won’t share. She had a bit of a meltdown at the dinner table yesterday because her Mum had committed the dreadful crime of putting a roast potato on her plate, which for some unknown reason wasn’t acceptable. She did calm down after 20 mins and ate it. 😁
Thank you Daisy. I am feeling better but tired after yesterday.

Lizzie - that's good to hear. It doesn't seem to be slowing you down at all - swimming, cycling etc. Take care though! xx

Take it easy today Fairyqueen, these things are a shock to the system.
My younger grandson starts school tomorrow, and it seems no time since we were in that tantrum phase! Deep breaths

*Fairyqueen* Can I borrow your healing crystal please and I may just get some relief for my poorly shoulder joint which I broke 5yrs ago now and it still gives me pain after all this time. Please be careful when out and about its so easy to end up on the ground as I have proved on a couple of occasions.
This week I have had to tell all my family not to make a fuss about my birthday on Sunday its the first birthday without my wonderful John and I just can't see myself being very sociable,so I have decided to meet my friend and DD for breakfast on Saturday then go home and close the door until Monday morning its just one more milestone to get over this year it was 9mths on Wednesday 9th when I lost him I just didn't think the time would pass so quickly and all the support you ladies have given me is so so appreciated xxxx
                            Keep Calm,You're Fabulous

Oh Glamma, I do feel for you, this shoulder pain has just gone on for so long

Getting over every 'milestone' is like a hurdle climbed Glamma.
Not interfering here, but you are the only parent your lovely children have now, and I'm sure they want to spend some of your day with you. What would John want? I imagine he would want what is best for you, so if that is being alone then you should, but I think all John's loved ones spending some time together on your birthday may have made him happy? Do what feels best for you Glamma xxxx

Hope that all the poorly ones are feeling better today. I believe that any alcoholic drink can be classed as medicinal when you've broken/bruised any part of your anatomy! Cheers!

Glamma, is it really 5 years since you broke your shoulder? Time really does fly the older you get.

Gem, hope the news is good from the hospital and that Mum recovers well.

Sun shining here now. Have done nearly all the windows inside....my Karcher ran out of steam and so did ! Window cleaner coming Monday to do outsides and solar panels. Our old cleaner has disappeared so I'm looking forward to being able to see out of them properly again.

Got my slowcooker out yesterday and made a beef casserole. I really should use it more often. Hopefully I will now the colder months are coming.

I think I may head out along the river this afternoon and make the most of the sunshine.

Enjoy the rest of the day whatever you're up to ladies. x
Believe you can and you're halfway there.
