    Good morning all.
I had two missed calls from a private number, around 7.15. My phone was in the kitchen charging so I didn't hear them. It must be the hospital. Hopefully they will phone back after the shift handover. If not we will have to ring the hospitals general number to see what we can find out. I don't know why they didn't phone the landline.

The plan is to see my auntie this afternoon. I hope I can go to see mum this morning and still go to auntie's. If not we will have to postpone the visit.

I hope everyone has a good Sunday. Dull here.

      Morning Nanto,Oma,Lizzie and all

Gem I’m so sorry to hear of your Mum’s fall. I hope you get news today and it is good. Perhaps she declined your visit because she didn’t feel 100% and that’s why she had the fall.

Nothing special planned for today, much like every day now really.

Although it’s a month until work starts on the new roof I’ve started to clear the back garden where the scaffolding will have to go.My ancient cold frame for example which is against the wall and is on it’s last legs. I think I’ll invest in a new one later.

Have a lovely day ladies and take care of yourselves.

Clover, that could well be true about the fall.

So sorry to hear about your Mum Gem. Hope you get some better news today, what a worry x

Clovee, good to,hear you are able to go back to your job, hope it works out well for you. My days are much the same too, I seem to spend most of. Y time sorting out cupboards, all I can manage at the moment. I do need to get out into the garden though, so might do that today.

its dull but dry here at the moment, so off to have my shower and decide what to do today.

            Good Sunday morning, everyone.

Gem - I hope your mum's had a good night (although I know that's difficult in hospital) and you get some news today. I'm sure your auntie will understand, what happens today. I thought the same as Clover - she wasn't feeling 100% - perhaps a bit light headed, and that's why she fell. Sending you big hugs - it's frustrating when you're waiting for news.

Clover - you are doing so well, getting things organised, going back to work. I hope you're feeling better physically in yourself, and it's good to have a project to get on with, even if it's clearing the garden ready for the workmen doing the roof. It sounds a big job.

Enfys - it's dull here, not very inviting. I think clearing out cupboards takes a lot of determination, so I take my hat off to you for getting on with it. Motivation must be very hard, and it's such early days.

Nanto - I'm glad you had a bit of a lie in. You obviously needed the sleep. I don't know how people like you and Oma cope on so little night after night.

Lizzie - glad to hear your toe's feeling better already. Enjoy your lunch with DS2. Have you heard how your neighbour is who had the fall? You've reminded me I need to descale our coffee machine this morning.

I've just done my Sainsbury's order for tomorrow, so off to have a shower and see what the day brings.

              Update on Mum on YEO
I can visit this afternoon, so I booked 5pm so we can visit auntie and go straight to the hospital from there

Bit late checking in to see what you have all been up to. I couldn't get an internet connection earlier.

Gemini, so sorry to hear about your mum, pleased she was in good spirits, she was probably enjoying the escape from the nursing home. Hope the news is good today.

Oma, how lovely to have a meal looking at the sea, pleased to hear the large party did not spoil your meal. That was a good sleep, they say eat lettuce before bed time works.

Lizzie, pleased to hear your toe feels better, magic cream worked.

Lovely sunny day here, hope it lasts. Bit late getting going this morning but no plans today. I am so excited to have written something on my calendar, a friend has invited me and three others to her house for coffee. Went into next door for bubbles last evening, a friend and her partner turned up, I left them to it. GS2 is going back to London today, lovely to see him.

Gemini hope your dear Mum is ok. When my Mum in law was in care she was always falling over. It’s such a worry isn’t it? I do hope she’s feeling better. 💐

Gem I hope you enjoy your visit to Auntie and that your Mum has had a peaceful night. At least you'll be able to actually be near her when you get to the hospital. It is worrying though when the elderly have falls.

DS suggested we had take away lunch from the pub today, so that's what we did and very nice it was too. The desserts are still in the fridge, we were all too full to eat them straight away!

OH and DS watching England v Australia in the T20 cricket match. I've escaped to have some time on here, but I shall go back later.

Enjoy the rest of the day ladies x

Plant - I hope the sun was kind to you. Nice days at this time of the year are so precious - we know only too well that they won't last much longer. I dread the winter.

How lovely to have the beginnings of a social life again! I was only thinking today that it's a pity I can't use my calendar and diary again next year - they're both like new!! Hahaha.

Oma - I hope you're not sickening for some lurgy or other. I've been feeling the cold these last few days - in fact most days it's been warmer outside than in the house. I can never understand how that works! Perhaps you should be taking things easy for a day or two, especially if you're not getting your sleep. xx

WG - What did you have for lunch from the pub? It sounds a really good idea. T20 cricket is one of the very few sports I enjoy watching. Life's too short to watch Test cricket, but 20-20 is good. How much longer is your DS staying in the UK for?

It's stayed sunny here for most of the day, much to my surprise.

I'll post again in the morning.
Oma, I hope you are not coming down with anything.

All being well Mum is down for surgery tomorrow afternoon.
