    Good Morning all.

Family returned home safely yesterday after a lovely time with them. They had rented a modern house in Mumbles which had recently been renovated, very modern with Ikea furniture etc
They tended to do their own thing in the mornings and included me in the afternoons. They took me to the Bank and hairdressers ,both of which I had been waiting to get to. We were able to have an afternoon on the beach in beautiful weather. The sea was rough but that didn’t deter GS who had a great time in the waves! We met up with the two other DSs for a family meal. DD ,GD and I even went shopping ,first time for me for 5 months so a strange experience.DD and GD are used to wearing masks in shops and though not compulsory here I did too. We also were lucky with the weather when we went to the National Botanic Gardens near Carmarthen. It was “doggy day” so Luna came too!

Enfys ,please don’t force yourself to do anything you don’t feel like doing and doze off whenever you need to.

I hope you are all jogging along and any worries seem a bit seem a bit smaller today.

Off to do my “likes” now

Good morning Nan2 (and little pink cat) and Daisy, and all who pass through today!

A bit sunny here too, but has got less so since we opened the curtains! Time in the garden sounds a good idea Daisy.

We, along with SIL's parents, are invited to DD2's for Sunday lunch. GS2 keep saying he wants 'everyone', meaning all the family to come to his house. He must miss our family gatherings. This isn't all the family by any means, but his main 2 sets of grandparents at once we will make him happy

      Happy Sunday everyone.

Clover - a lot of 'firsts' for you these last few days, but the very best one must have been having all your family together, and having a happy few days with your DD and family. Hopefully it won' be so long before you see them again. xx Thank you so much for the 'likes'.

Oma - I'm so glad you have finally got a chance to see your friends. It will do you all good.

Gem - enjoy lunch with your DD2. I bet your GS2 is already jumping up and down with excitement.

It looks like family day for a lot of us grannies today. I hope you all have a great time.

That sounds like a lovely time with your family Clover. Shopping is like an adventure.

Oma, have a lovely meet-up with your friends.

Gemini, your GS2 will be very excited to have you at his house.

Daisy, sunny here, still windy, I will venture into the garden later, not dressed yet. The family arrived home safely yesterday tiring journey for sil, the roads were very busy. GD2 and her partner went into the sea most days, her partner had not been to Cornwall before.

Clover we can't see your pictures.

I don't know where today has gone but its gone.

Cooked a lamb fillet in the slow cooker. All the usual things to go with it.
Brother in law called, and as his partner is at work all day,he stayed for dinner.
                Fortunately there was enough.

                Cool here today.

Oma,hope you had a good catch up with friends.

                  Good afternoon.
Dog sitting here. We have had dogs all our lives, sometimes one, sometimes two. We have been without for 4 years now. I love having DD1’s boys, they are no trouble at all, but it has confirmed our thoughts that we won’t have another.
OH has booked a holiday!! We are going to stay in Lerwick, North Yorkshire for a few days and he is going to take me to Filey, Whitby and Bridlington. All places I haven’t been to. I am excited!
                  Have a good Sunday folks.

Had a lovely catch up with our friends , admired their new car too only picked it up yesterday ,
Sea side was very windy and chilly but the Cafe was lovely and warm .
Came home and DD SIL and Storm arrived , been on a long walk ,

Storm was very thirsty Vet put him on steroids as he was stung on the leg last week and has a reaction to it making his hind leg itchy , he keeps nibbling it ,
The steroids are making him thirsty and hungry , so lots of water and cheese

GM we have best of both worlds with Storm we get the pleasure without the vet bills and responsibilities and we can hand him back ,
So looking after your DDs dogs is ideal for you too

Nanto always best to have extra for unexpected visitors

Plant nice to have the family back I bet xx

Gem how did lunch go , what did you have

We are having Meatballs and spaghetti for tea never had that for ages

Oma - I could murder meatballs and spaghetti at the moment. I'm just about to go and cook - sea bream, home-grown potatoes and whatever veggies look best when I've got the chopping board out. Storm is spoiled rotten!

Grauntie - if I read your comments about DD1's dogs correctly - does it mean we can drop Eva off if we're passing by? I used to look after a lot of dogs for other people, but now it tends to be just Cooper and Bailey, the family dogs. I would still like to have another of our own, though - as well as Eva, not instead!! I do think you have to make more adjustments for a 'temporary' dog than you do for your own, because you want them to feel happy and at home.

Nanto - lamb fillet in the slow cooker sounds amazing - I bet it all but fell apart. Do you think BIL had insider information on what was cooking?

Plant - see all the traffic jams on the west country roads I'm sure it was very tiring for the driver. I hope they had a good time - and well done to the brave sea swimmers. Nice to have them home again? You must miss them when they're away.

Gem - did you enjoy your lunch?

It's time I got started in the kitchen - I didn't realise how late it was!!

The sun is shining, but by crikey,it feels very autumnal outside.

                            No specific plans for today.

It is a lovely morning, I have been to the gym but my head wasn't working, e mail problems etc. GD1 is coming this morning to help me take the garden set down into the shed, she always comes to help. Then we are going for lunch in Delft, that was promised when they were here with the heat wave, I got booked with Social Deal, I don't know if it is in the UK, meals etc 50% off, you book on line then get vouchers, only my vouchers vanished!!! I have phoned them and got it sorted so have the vouchers now.

Good morning ladies. It feel like autumn here as well. There's a definite feel of the seasons changing.

No plans for us today. As usual I've got a vague intention to catch up with the dreaded ironing. Hahaha!

                                Have a good day everyone.
