Not sure what I am going to do today, no gardening. I have to pop out for a few bits, I think I will go to a local farm shop, they do nice coffees too. I think it is my DD's first day of looking after her GD, I will pop in later. I have just ordered two masks from a local lady, hope they are okay.

Daisy, hope your OH's trip goes okay, are you near to finishing the arrangements?

Gemini, have you removed anything valuable from your mother's house, it is usually jewellery they go after. My OH took pics of anything we had that might get stolen for insurance purposes. Have a nice time with your friends, not quite such a nice day here but no wind and rain.

Your graphic today looks like Spring Nanto, yes please.

Oma, my face is at the itchy, sightly sore stage. I still look like scar face.
I do hope your Mil is satisfied with her TV unit. She really is impossible to satisfy.

Plant, yes I have removed things of value, and important paperwork. Her wedding and engagement rings are with her, which are her most precious items.

        Good moaning each.
This is the first day for a week we have no early commitments and so we are still in bed. Me with a cup of tea, him still snoring.
We plan to do gardening jobs today. The wisteria from the neighbours at the back strangles anyone who walks near it. This will involve the steps and hedge trimmer and OH. A lethal combination I fear. If I don’t return, expect the worst. 😬
Can’t stay here any longer, I need food.
Oma, will MiL be wearing the tv unit by the end of the day? 😆 I do admire your patience!
Daisy, I have ordered a ‘shewee’ for our forthcoming trip north. I absolutely refuse to visit the inside of a service area. I think I will have to practice at home first though!
Clover, the cakes sound delicious, right up my street.
Plant, crime certainly seems on the up around here. We seem to have gangs targeting people on their own to take what they can. It’s horrible.
        Have a jolly day ladies.

Grauntie, yes I recommend practicing with the She Wee before your journey.
DD3 has one and has used it often for long walks. One day she must have got it badly positioned or something, and had to continue with wet jeans!

Good afternoon. Oma, yes I have been resting but also gradually doing things too.

I am at present all wired up to a heart monitor, a long awaited testMy GP wanted me to have. I had an ECG and all was ok, This is just to make sure. I get these missed heart beats but they have said before it’s noting to worry about but glad to have this test to be sure.

Grauntie, I read somewhere it’s good to practice with the shewee in the shower, saves any accidents 🙂.

DD is back to work next week, it’s been lovely having her around but at least after today DGD is out of quarantine so can spend some time with her.

i have been looking at doing another online course with Future Learn, I have done a couple with them before and found it really interesting. I have a short list of a few so think I’ll pick a couple to keep me busy.

            Have a good day everyone.

Plant,if your face is at the itchy stage,it must be healing.

                Daisy,hope OH's trip goes well.

Enfys, will be lovely for you spending time with GD.

Oma, hope all went well with tv stand.

Washing has dried lovely, but hubby heard on the radio, that rain is on its way later.
Been for all the birthday cards Mam needs for this month. She needed quite a few.
Got my own as well, but i only needed two.
Salad for dinner, by hubby's request. Will serve it with scampi.

I have missed so many posts! Just come back from a long bike ride, lovely weather for it. My washing dried whilst I was out so that is all tidied away now. I like days like this.

Oma, yes the Germans can be like that, must be very difficult for you all though. Not only Germans by they way, I had a neighbour, a teacher, spinster and always been on her own. She had heart surgery and I would shop for her etc, one day she had wrote down, chicken breast and it must be fresh, hubby was alive at the time so we said that she must be eating well, It was for the cats!!!!! Later I was shopping for her and she wanted a clock with big numbers so she could see it, of I go, all the shops I could think of and I found one, it wasn't very expensive and the numbers were HUGE! When I took it she said "I don't want a CHEAP clock, that isn't what I asked for", I was so annoyed I came home and threw the clock against the wall so couldn't even return it to the shop! YES, I got the curtains finished and they are all hung up.

Plant, I hope the itching soon goes and the scar disappears.

Grauntie, succes with your she wee! It must be awful to be burgled like that, I live on the 5th floor of a closed apartment block and think I am safer here than on the 1st floor. That is what I tell myself anyway.

About the doctors, here they are working if you really need to see a doctor they will give you an appointment. You have to explain to the receptionist first then they make the decision between them, that is how I was phoned back for an appointment when I thought I had thrombosis!

Having visited Germany a few times (son lived there for a few years), we found that the southern Germans were a jolly lot compared to the Germans in the north.

He can reach up to the top better than me.

Good morning. Lovely cheery picture Nan2.

I have to be out soon as I have to take this heart monitor back to the hospital before 10.00. I had to write down everything I did yesterday and any symptoms I had, I’m sure there’s nothing wrong but will be good to find out for sure. Will be pleased to be rid of all the wires.

Very dull and dreary here at the moment, looks like we will be getting more rain. More cupboard sorting for me later and DGD is coming over now she is out of quarantine.

Have a good day everyone 🌞☔️

                              Good morning dear ladies.

Get him cleaning those tiles Nan2
You must be tired Oma. Is your neck fully healed now?
Good for you getting the monitoring done Enfys, and hopefully all will be fine. Hooray for your GD being out of quarantine!

No firm plans but a lot to do today.
OH is playing golf , their committee against another clubs committee. It includes a meal so I will be catering for one tonight.
I need to go over to my mum's house, and nip into Tesco for few things we couldn't get on our Aldi visit the other day. The GC, well two of them, are staying over tomorrow night so I will make up the bed today too. I also want to colour my hair and print off letters sitting on my laptop, and get them into the post.

                              Have a good Thursday everyone.
