I’m hoping to make the Christmas cake today and finish the cards.My first card arrived in the post today. Also got a docs. appointment to discuss my current stress.

Pilates last night was hard going but enjoyable in a strange sort of way As we get nearer to Christmas the class is getting smaller.Too many other things to do at this time of year I suppose.

I hope Nana’s DD is feeling comfortable this morning and anyone else with pain is feeling better.

Clover I love Christmas cake especially home made , I don't make one now there is only me that eats it now FIL is no longer with us so I just buy a M&S slab

I have a unexpected free day today , DD has taken day off so no Dog or GS1 ,
B has gone to his Mams to fix the draw in her chest of Drawers , would be better to buy a set of new Drawers she's had these ones for years but she wont spend the money

I have had a headache all night so little sleep , just washed the floors and taking it easy till it lifts .

Morning everyone. Might I say a less stressful one than yesterday. I've posted an update on DD on YEO. As WG (I think it was) said about me feeling knac****d ~ spot on 100%. I need to iron a few bits & pack my bag in readiness to go over to help her when she's discharged. Hoping it's tomoro, but it could be this evening.😲

Catching up with all your news. There's certainly not a dull moment. Clover I'm so pleased you're going to see the dr. Let us know how you get on.

But, GD2 is moving into her dads. Mother is being a b****. (sorry,but that is the only way to describe her)
She was exactly the same with GD1. She must not like it when the kids start getting older and more independant.

Hairdresser coming at 12.30.

Hello, again, everyone. Eva waves a paw at all her granny friends! I don't know what's got into her today. After I tipped her off my lap she followed me round until I started the ironing. Now you all know how much I've been looking forward to this delightful task, but there was Eva - spoiling things by sitting on my feet. Have you ever tried ironing without moving? It's interesting. So interesting that I gave up and did what Eva wanted - playing chase round the house with a squishy snake toy. That's the honest trooff, Gov!

Gem - I'm so pleased kitty is feeling better and eating today. You'll be much happier seeing your usual vet on Monday. Glad OH enjoyed the snooker, and I hope your Mum is enjoying it as well.

Nana - I hope today is proving less stressful. Do try and get some rest if you possibly can. I'll catch up on YEO in a minute.

Nanto - poor GD2, but better to move than stay at her mum's and be unhappy. I'm sure she'll appreciate your help, too. Lovely sunrises and sunsets with this weather.

Hi from M&S cafe! I'm enjoying a pot of Earl Grey and a scone before I go back for mum. Not sure how they are getting on with mum's hearing ( her friend wears a hearing aid) and constantly repeating herself!

I bought the gift vouchers mum wanted and a couple of little things, then came for a cuppa!

GD1 ended up moving to her dads, because of her mother.
We always said GD2 would end up doing the same.
She is staying here tonight though. Her dad has to be in Huddersfield for 9am tomorrow.
Its a work meeting that he can't miss. So,grandad is taking her to work in the morning.
Mind you,grandad is picking her up from work in an hour.
We know she will be ok at her dads, and we are only 3 streets away.

Been climbing ladders and cleaning Venetian blind and long window on staircase. Didn't realise how tall it was! The floor was a long way down!! OH was leaning on it and handing cleaning bits up to me. That's it done until it needs cleaning again. Next house only windows that I can reach without climbing ladders!

We've got three Christmas cards already but haven't done any of ours yet.

Off to tackle the ironing before the pile gets too big.
