Good morning ladies.
It's a wet one here.
We have an appointment with our favourite vet at 10 past 10. That works well for us as OH is off golfing again and being picked up at 11.30.
I didn't go to see my mum yesterday, so must do that today, and I go to my monthly client at 4.30.
Have a good Monday everyone.“A grandchild fills a space in your heart that you never knew was empty.” – Unknown

Morning ladies a bit chilly this morning ,
I was in bed for 9pm last night and slept till 6am didn't wake once .
We have Dog today and B has his Hospital appointment , he's gone to get GS1 a Birthday card first cant believe tomorrow he will be 15 where have those years gone
Gem could it be drool from kitty ? I say this as one of DD's cats when she was ill could drool quite a lot big pools of it , she's no longer with us sadly she was very old when she died ,
Daisy what is it with men and car boots they love them don't they
Nanto bet hubby pleased he got the garage floor finished x
WG shame its just for the day but its better than nothing
wonder if Plant is having a good time
I have just filled in a couple of patches on my dressing room wall , few dents etc that you cant see unless dressing table lights are on and it highlights them ,
I also painted the window sill in our bedroom , I noticed a few sort of orange marks I tried a magic sponge and giving it a good scrub but whatever it was it wasn't budging so painting was my last resort , been racking my brain thinking what could have caused it but nothing coming to mind its a mystery .Im not fat just 6ft too small

Not drool no Oma, it is tummy downwards which is wet, not upper half at all. I think she has a pocket of fluid hanging down from her tummy. Nurse friend says it shouldn't leak though the skin though, only of there is a puncture hole. We shall see.
I'm glad you had a good night's sleep!“A grandchild fills a space in your heart that you never knew was empty.” – Unknown

Good morning to everyone, I have had a very busy, cleaning, weekend! GD1 came on Saturday and helped me get the balcony ready for the winter months, table, chairs etc are down in the shed, then we moved plants and she scrubbed the balcony, a good help. I took her home as I went to get my hair cut then came home and did the windows on the balcony side, done the others this morning so all is nice and shiny!
Even got the car cleaned inside and out yesterday so have been busy! I went to the gym this morning then our fifty fit in the pool starts this afternoon so will cycle there as it is a lovely day.
I can't comment on everything, but it looks like you have all been very busy over the weekend.
I haven't got GD2 here this week, they have decorators doing the outside so someone, DIL, has to stay home to open the doors windows etc, she can work from home so will get that done as well. GD1 goes on her bike to school so she won't have to take her or anything. DS1 is on his travels again, Manchester, Cork, Edinburgh and then Glasgow!!! South Africa next, I can't keep up with him!
I am going for a river cruise in Rotterdam tomorrow, I have a Rotterdam year card and can use it for so many things including the river cruise so will do that tomorrow.
Hope the cat is OK Gem!

Good morning Lizzie, it's often too busy to be able to comment on everything! You have been a busy bee!
The cruise sounds lovely.
The vet is quite flummoxed! He advises an ultrasound at the main vets in town. It may be something serious, in which case at 19, it will be time to say goodbye. He says he woudl rather see what is going on though, as she is well otherwise, and it may be something treatable. We have to have her there before 9 on Wednesday. Puppy pads everywhere for now.“A grandchild fills a space in your heart that you never knew was empty.” – Unknown

Hello one and all - just a quick look in from me. BIL and SIL have gone out for a couple of hours, but the day is already proving more exhausting than I'd expected. Cooper refused (for the second time) to get into my car this morning and it took me 3/4 to coax him in - he'd far too big and strong to lift, and he was obviously worried about something so I didn't want to force him. He was then sick in the guest room and is now asleep on my feet. But I need to go and make lunch - it's damp and chilly so I'll make some soup.
Gem - I do hope kitty is ok and it's something treatable. In the meantime, thank heavens for puppy pads.
I hope the weather's better than this for Plant's holiday.

Daisy, i was just thinking the same about Plant.
Its damp and cold here. Had to resort to putting the heating on.
Lizzie, like the sound of the cruise.
Gem,hope you get to the bottom of kitty's problem.
In laws were in fine fettle this morning, long may it last.
Oma, that was a good sleep you had.Sometimes I forget to like posts, but that doesn't mean I don't like them.

Well what a miserable day weather wise. It has rained on and off all day and been quite dark. OH and friend are on their way back from the golf competition, I imagine they will be soggy! I have nice meal cooking (lamb steaks, mash, and veg) and I know her friends OH is a good cook so hopefully he will have a nice meal waiting for her.
My client tells me we are in for another mini heatwave. He has tickets for Regents's Park open air theatre on Thursday afternoon. He assures me he will be dry and warm. I hope he is right“A grandchild fills a space in your heart that you never knew was empty.” – Unknown

Good morning all.
Sunny here Nan2, maybe I missed the morning mist! Cute teddy
Today I am meeting a friend for lunch, then onto school for GS1, home at 7ish. I won't be around much for the cat, and OH will be out golfing until mid to late afternoon. She seems OK though. Just heavy with all this fluid collecting.
Have a good day everyone.“A grandchild fills a space in your heart that you never knew was empty.” – Unknown

Good morning. A lovely fresh misty early start this morning. Nothing planned for us as P is feeling tired with the effects of the chemo, so I’m catching up on all the mundane little jobs and he is taking it easy. I might go for a walk later as it’s such a lovely morning after all the rain yesterday."Don't cry because it's over, smile because it happened." - Dr Seuss
