Daisy, I hope you are wearing a belt to protect your back. Maybe you are wearing your drawers outside your tights, I think you must be the REAL Superwoman!

Hi everyone, difficult to get a signal in hotel and they have been keeping us busy. Had a lovely day in York yesterday. Gemini it was a good job we didn't meet up, Drop off point was changed at last minute. Home tomorrow, will be resting my feet, they are very sore from all the walking. Off to have a GandT before dinner. I must have put on pounds, hope I have walked most of it off. Will catch up reading past messages tomorrow. What is life if full of care we have no time to stand and stare

Sorry I haven't been posting, just read back the posts on here. I have been out all day with the WI on a visit to a WI college. Had a cooking demo and a look around, would love to do a course there but it is expensive. More eating today so must shop tomorrow for sensible food. I will catch up a bit more tomorrow but I am feeling very tired after another day on my feet. Nothing much on the calendar this week so I can catch up with jobs, garden looking quite good. Feeling very tired so early night for me.What is life if full of care we have no time to stand and stare

Good morning. Sorry I can’t read posts just now. We’re still at DS1s. DS ended up in A&e yesterday and I’ve just brought him to the doctors as he can’t drive. He’s ok nothing major but not what we need this weekend.
Home tonight with a bit of luck. Enjoy your sunny Sunday."Joy is what happens to us when we allow ourselves to recognise how good things really are. "

Had a really good night's sleep, spending a week having to be breakfasted and ready to get on the coach each morning for someone who doesn't really functions before eight was an effort. Will post under holidays our itinerary, loved being in Yorkshire. Yesterday once again had to be ready to catch the coach with my WI friends to go to the WI college. Not too far away, just an hour. We had coffee and home made shortbread when we got there, followed by a cookery demo by a young lady who was on Professional Bake Off. Had a tour around and then an amazing lunch, followed by another tour of the bedrooms where people stay when they are attending various courses. They provided a tea of sandwiches and cakes before we caught the coach to come home. I would love to do a course there but they cost £3 to 4 hundred pounds for 2 days. NOW ON A DIET.
Daisy hope your DS is okay
Will check in later when a few more have posted. Off to fill my empty fridge. What is life if full of care we have no time to stand and stare

Good morning everyone.
Yes, do us a little travelog Plant! Welcome back
I hope Qwerty's legs are returning to normal.
How is your DS, Daisy?
Good to hear it was OK yesterday Oma.
We had a good night last night. When we arrived home at 11,15 we saw a pizza delivery man looking a bit lost. We asked which number he was looking for and it was next door, so we pointed him in the right direction. Pizza at 11.15pm!!! I think they were having a gathering with friends or something. I wonder if they have ingestion this morning? They are young, so maybe not
Today we are going to visit DD3's cat. They are in Edinburgh all weekend. Her food and water are on a timer, but she could do with some company (and litter tray refreshing!)
Friends invited us to join them at pub quiz tonight, which we accepted. Maybe a little gardening in between - or if it's hot just lying there!
Have a good Sunday everyone.“A grandchild fills a space in your heart that you never knew was empty.” – Unknown
