Seems like everyone is having a good day.

My optician trip went well. Barely any change from two years ago. As the optician said I have the best of both worlds as one of my eyes is short-sighted and the other long-sighted so they compensate for each other.No glasses needed yet.

We lived it up and had fish and chips in Tesco. so no cooking this evening.

Qwerty - I do hope the impetigo clears up quickly - and also you don't end up with two patients. I remember when my DS2 was misdiagnosed with it and it turned out to be an allergy to Lenor. The bad news is I think children have a talent for sticky fingers right into their teens!

Clover - it's so good to have any kind of 'medical' check up and come out as good as you were two years ago - well done to your eyes. x

Grauntie - sorry, I forgot to say, yes my new (to me) car does have a sat nav and parking sensors. I don't know about indicators, though - that might be one luxury too far!

Lunch at the Queens Head WG? Did you take out a mortgage? which butchers does your DD go to, is it the one in Park Parade?

I had impetigo once Qwerty, I caught it from a child at nursery school where I worked. it is very infectious but clears up quite quickly with the cream.

Daisy your car sounds just the ticket.

I did go to bowls, played really badly.

Your visit from your family sounded great Enfys, just what you needed.

Oma, I do hope your neck will feel better soon, does warmth help at all?

Thank you Plant , Yes it does I use a herb heat pack , and take a couple of pain killers it eases very quickly for a few hours before I have to do something about it again ,
Its all Arthritis had it for many years but now and then I have a flare up that lasts a week or two then it goes again , I have had lots of Physio but doesn't really do a lot of good .

Ive had a nap this afternoon so not feeling so tired now

Oma, I miss my lovely cat so much Her photo is the wallpaper on my phone so I see her all the time.
I painted a rock for her which is on her grave under the apple tree, with a little stone bunny which lives in our garden, and 2 pink metal flowers and a butterfly windmill! I intend to plant something there for her.
I was lucky to have her so long, and looking back she really had changed and her time had come. We still miss them though, don't we?

Well my free day was quite full!
My reflexologist was quite late (she texted to let me know) She couldn't get the baby to sleep and as it was her dad not her mum looking after him she needed him asleep before she could leave! Once I had my lovely treatment and she had gone and OH came back from golf, we had lunch in the garden and I hung out the bedding which I had washed. Then I went to the library to return the big pile of audio books my mum had whilst I was on holiday. Then to the pharmacist for her meds. I had to wait a long time! Then to mums to deliver them, a quick visit. Then OH and I went to Tesco and PetsatHome. Then we came back and watched Gentlemen Jack. Just one more episode to go.
My second of the 3 monthly flower deliveries I got from DD2 for my birthday came today These cheered me up as I was a bit disappointed to learn that DD3 and OH are no longer coming to Florida with the rest of us next year. Ho Hum!

My plans for tomorrow might change. My sister in law usually goes to in laws on a tuesday.
But SIL is poorly. Saw her this morning,and i think she has vertigo.
So, i told her if she is still poorly in the morning,i will do her shift.

Theres been a change in the weather. About 5ish,it clouded over,came dark and temperatures dropped.
Just had a bit of rain.

Plant - I'm sure it did you good to go to bowls and see your bowling friends, even if it wasn't our finest hour on the green. How are you feeling now?

Gem - so much for your quiet day! What a pity DD3 and OH aren't coming to Florida with you after all. I know you must be disappointed. You can't help missing a much-loved pet, but I think it is some comfort when they've lived a good, long life and you've been able to give them a peaceful farewell. Her little place in your garden sounds lovely, and I'm sure it helps to make her feel near to you. I have a little spot in the Forest for each of the dogs we've lost since we've lived here. Just places where I remember them and can picture them enjoying their lives.

Nanto - I do hope your SIL is ok - vertigo is horrible.

It's cooled off slightly here tonight, but was still very pleasant when I did the watering about 8.30.

Good morning, one and all. I seem to be first up this morning, although I bet there are grannies who have spring cleaned and done 10 loads of washing already.

It's my usual manic Tuesday, so off to collect Cooper in a while. OH has slept well and so far his eye doesn't look too sore, but it's another quiet day for him today - Nursey insists!"D

Daisy, you are an early bird this morning.

Last i heard about my sister in law,was at 9 last night.
Her hubby rang to say they were in A&E. She went to the iHeart surgery,so i'm assuming they sent her to A&E.
I will ring brother in law later.
So, i will pop roung to in laws later,but only for an hour.
I want to come home and do some of my own jobs.

Its dry now,but it has rained during the night. Hubby says its not rained enough to fill his water barrels.

Good morning all the 🌅 sun is shining and not a cloud in the sky. We were planning a trip out today but had the call Menna poorly she is now tucked up in bed oh well best laid plans and all that. So instead I shall leave Gramps in charge and take myself into town this morning it is market day and it's always lively with lots to see. Hubs is procrastinating over which water butts to buy , we need them to help reduce our water bill , we are metered here. Hope everyone is enjoying the good weather whatever your doing have fun.

Morning ladies , dull and damp hear ,
Up very early as they delivered our new Sofa at 7.10 they rang last night to say between 7-9 so we expected 9 , just as well we did get up and dressed early
Its smaller than my last one and fits better in the space it needs to go , its plain fabric and looks lovely

I have a BP check at 9.30 just to make sure BP tablets working , should take minutes then got to go for some shopping .
Slept better last night , B popped to B&M and bought one of those travel pillows for your neck for me to try , it worked a treat kept my neck at the right angle so no sore neck or headache this morning .
Not pretty and a little bulky but as long as it works its fine with me

Nanto hope your SIL is ok and in laws are fine too

Libra that's happened to me on several occasions you make plans then a little person is unwell , hope its nothing to bad and she feels better by this afternoon ,

We on a water metre too Libra luckily we don't have lots of pots so outside watering isn't a issue but if we did we would be having water buts too

Daisy nice to hear J's eye isn't as painful this time another day of rest will do him good while your dashing hear there and everywhere

Thanks for the update on Nana, Oma. I had seen her about on FB, but she has been quiet here. I need on of those neck pillows I think!

Dull here with rain forecast.
Lawn cutting is on my agenda today, but that depends on the rain. I must make start on the holiday ironing too, whilst catching up on recorded programmes.
GS1 from school later. He wants to come back here this week. I haven't seen him since before my holiday. I still don't know if he has been told about my cat (who for a long time he described as his best friend) They couldn't find a way or time to tell him before I went on holiday. I hope he knows now.

Update on the GS1 and cat matter. DD told me he knows. He was very sad, cried and wants to see her grave and have a photo of her for his room to stroke. He has family photos in his room, so it will be good to have her too. This is his first loss
