Good morning. Enjoy the film, Clover, take tissues with you 😢. Very warm here again, we are off to meet DS et al and have a lunch at a lovely pub right near the beach. It’s a dog friendly beach so Dexter will come then we can have a paddle later. It’s been a lovely time with them, I almost feel like I’m in holiday, I’ve done nothing indoors and had so many meals out 😀. Will be sad to see them go at the weekend 😭

Have a lovely day everyone, 🌞

Good luck Daisy and S with your cars.

Oma have a lovely tea with your nurse friends.

Would love to see Toy Story 4 Clover, my GD1 who I normally go to the cinema with hasn't time now she has a boyfriend.

Had pre-cancerous growth removed this morning from the side of my forehead and a sample of one on my leg for a biopsy. The nurse wasn't very happy that I was on my own, I must say I was a bit shaky afterwards but I promised I would go and have a quiet sit down with a coffee in the cafe before I set off home. Got
a bit of a headache and I have to keep my leg up so I am forced to watch the tennis!. Fortunately there is no aqua. this week as I am not allowed to swim. Stitches to come out next Friday, just in time for my holiday starting on the Monday.

Plant - at least there is something on tv that you want to watch while you rest. I'm glad you will be A-Okay for your holiday. Take care of yourself. xx

Clover - it seems pretty sensible to go into a comfortable air-conditioned place to be entertained, whatever the weather. I hope you enjoy the film.

Enfys - I'm so glad you're having a lovely 'holiday at home' with your family this week. The weather is just perfect, isn't it.

Gem - we were on the ball this morning, weren't we! Well done on getting all your washing done. Would you notice if I dumped my ironing pile on yours?

Oma - what can I say - my fame spreads before me - 'the one who forgets something's cooking'!!! haha Enjoy your tea with the nurses.

We ended up going shopping this morning. We've got friends coming round tomorrow evening, not for a meal, but we needed nibbles and some nice treats, plus candles for her birthday cake, so getting that done today is good. I also got her a lovely unusual grass in a pot for her new patio - I hope she likes it. Of course while we were there I couldn't resist going into the pet shop, so Eva has now got a nice new rope tug toy - one that's tough enough for Cooper as well.

My car passed its MOT, and when we told the garage that we're going to sell it, he said he'd like to buy it!! I think he's serious - at least he knows its inner secrets better than anybody!! So we'd better get on with our Yeti search!

Good morning all. We’ve had a lovely few days weather wise haven’t we. Hope everyone has been able to enjoy it.
We eventually managed to get the table and chairs , parasol and base set out of the shed, clean it and actually have ore lunch outside yesterday. First time this summer. Talking of first time this summer, I also used the hose to water and feed the garden yesterday, I just hope I haven’t upset the rain Gods , you know what they are like 😉

Did I notice that some mentioned their neighbours and their bad language? Across the road there was a horrible foul mouthed individual who lived in the flat below my friend. Not only was he nasty , he was on drugs and drink. His partner left him several months ago taking their baby with her and is easy to understand why . His has smashed up the flat causing £1000’s worth of damage. All the doors are broken, kitchen units have been ripped away from the walls, even the toilet didn’t get away unscathed, apparently it wobbles if sat upon!
The flat belongs to a housing association and after 2 years of constant misuse he has finally been told to leave. His parting gift... a rant at all of us neighbours and he has dragged almost all of the furniture from inside the flat ( most of it is broken) and it’s standing on the over grown front lawn . At the back of the flat is a smashed up double bed , general rotting household rubbish a cat litter tray piled high with ‘you know what’ . He has even kicked the down pipe to bits from the upstairs flat so when my friend has a bath or the washing machine empties the water gushes all over the garden of the flat downstairs.
Its been 3 weeks now since all this happened and the landlords haven’t stepped foot in the place apart to get some emergency electrical repairs done. !

Plant how how are you feeling today. Still keeping your leg up and not doing too much I hope.

I would like like to see Toy Story but OH isn’t keen , however we both want to see Downton Abbey which I believe is on at the cinema any time soon

                      Have a good day ladies

                        Another ovely morning.

Hubby and DS1 are going to do their Driving Experience this morning.
DS bought it for hubby's 70 th last year. Hope they both enjoy it.

Mimi, good heavens, what a neighbour you had there.
Sounds like a nasty piece of work.

                        Off to in laws soon.

                            Good morning ladies.

I'm glad the car passed it's MOT Daisy.
It feels good to use the outdoor furniture doesn't it Mimi?
I hope OH and your son enjoy the Driving Experience Nan2. my SIL had one of those and loved it.

GS2 day. An exciting one as we are going to the theatre! To see The Tiger Who Came to Tea. 1.30 performance, so we shall have an early lunch at home, then go to the theatre. No GD today, as she is going on a school residential one nighter. She is only 9!! I will really miss seeing her.
This morning I am going to the station to book train tickets for Oma and myself for Birmingham. It's a pain going in, but to get 2 seats together starting from different destinations can't be done online. OH will drive me and wait in the car while I go in. DD knows where we will be if we are not back when they arrive. She said they wouldn't be early today.

                            Have a good day everyone.

Good morning. Another lovely sunny day. Yesterday we went out for lunch with DS, DD etc and DD and GS actually went swimming in the sea! Dexter joined them of course. The rest of us had a paddle and, biy, was it cold. We had a lovely afternoon with them all. This morning I am going to my WI meeting as they are going to meet up with some friends then we are all going to DDs this afternoon and meeting up with DILs parents for a meal at the local carvery this evening. It should be an interesting meeting as we have a local retired head teacher talking to us about his experiences. Coffee and cake too 🍰.

P finished the decking lights and they are all working well. I haven’t said anything to him, but it does look a bit like a runway 😀 but it lights the way down the garden beautifully 💡💡💡. He was so pleased he was able to get them finished. Otherwise, I’ve had a nice relaxing week, hardly any cooking and lots of lovely company.

Clover, did you enjoy the film. How’s your eye, Plant? Hope everyone is keeping well, have a good day all 🌞

Good morning everyone! It's a lovely sunny day here as well, Enfys. Swimming in the sea was brave - I think I'd find it too cold. Enjoy your WI meeting and the family time later. I had to smile at your 'landing lights' comment, especially knowing how "lost" pilots get approaching Bournemouth Airport.

Gem - have a lovely time with GS2 - I bet he'll love the play. Fingers crossed you can get the train tickets ok.

Oma - those nurses are great friends, aren't they.

Nanto - what will your OH be driving? My OH had a driving experience at Silverstone some years ago - but he certainly didn't get a drive in an F1 car!! It was still lots of fun, and he loved the drifting experience he did with DS1 recently.

Mimi - what an awful neighbour. One person causing so much damage and upsetting everyone, to say nothing of all the mess in the garden. It's time the Housing Association sorted it all out.

Plant - I hope you're feeling ok today and got a good night's sleep. xx

Exciting chores round the house for me today, before friends come round tonight.
