Welcome back Daisy.
I hope you warmed up Plant and have sun today.
Enfys, I'm so excited for you about the family visit!
It seemed a long day yesterday, I think foreign travel suits me less as I get older! Once we checked in and had a leisurely late lunch with the sea in the background it was worth it however😊
Have a good day everyone.

Hi Qwerty, will be pleased to hear your news when you get back, enjoy your last few days.
Lovely to see everyone at the 40th wedding anniversary party, we missed the best part of the day as far as the weather was concerned. The hall the party was held in had no natural light apart from one small window and when we came out it was spitting with rain. The family said it had been quite muggy here. Bowls this afternoon, apart from that a quiet week.
Can't see your graphic Nanto, not sure why.

Good morning, one and all.
I still can't see the posts I've missed while we were away, but it sounds as though Enfys is looking forward to seeing her Aussie family, and Clover is also busy visiting her DD & Co. And Plant has been to a lovely party.
Qwerty - congratulations on your lovely new place in the sun - I look forward to hearing all about it.
Gem - deep breath, and relax ..... I think travel has got more stressful, it's not just our ages!
I'm sorry I can't read earlier posts - b***** internet is driving me nuts.
Thank you for the 'welcome back' messages - I'll do a little write up on my Journal as soon as I can.
Today promises to be a fairly chaotic one. I've just brought Cooper back to ours, and OH has gone to collect a friend and his large trailer. Our new sofa and armchairs arrive on Wednesday, and DS2 and family are having our old ones. They really need to replace theirs, but Cooper isn't quite out of the "I fancy a sofa snack" stage, so having our serviceable but scruffy old suite is a sensible idea. So DS2 was going to have the morning off work and him, OH and the friend with the big trailer were going to do the move. Unfortunately DS2 has gone down with what looks like a nasty tummy bug, so it looks like OH, friend and me will be doing the loading up - ably assisted by Eva and Cooper!! Wish us luck.
We also need to find time to complain to our broadband providers about their lousy service! Grrrr .....
