Afternoon ladies , Just back from a successful shopping trip where I managed to wangle a lovely leather bag out of B from Dune .
Weather has been kind its dull but dry .
Libra im sure C and the girls need a break by now ,
They seem to grow at a alarming rate don't they J is already taller than me and O is catching up , at least S is still little and I can still lift her up

Gem poor you it cant be pleasant when you get these flair ups , take it easy you have to be well for your holiday xxx

Plant it has been cold hasn't it im glad I kept a big coat out rather than put them all away for summer ,

When we were out we went to Hotel Valerie and had a lovely cake and drink very indulgent and expensive but oh so good

Going out for dinner tonight rather than in Hotel restaurant ,
Going to have a lovely Bubble bath first , such a luxury for us when we only have a shower

I plodded on with the gardening today. It took me ages to weed the beds in the greenhouse, then a prepared holes for 3 of the 4 melons plants. I was shocked at how pot bound they were when I did get to put them in the ground. One of them already has flowers on, and one is putting out lots of tendrils.

I mowed the lawn - still trying to get it back to a reasonable length after all the rain! Then I weeded a small patch of garden that was covered in sweetheart plant and brambles, and tied up some of the branches on a pretty white rose. By the time I cleared up and put everything away I'd had enough.

we're hoping to get away for a few days next week, but havien't booked a caravan site yet, just want to make sure OH's eye will be ok. The forecast doesn't look wonderful, but we're happy to do nothing for a few days.

It's an extra Cooper day for us today. DS2 is having some work done on his fencing and he can easily take a few minutes out of work to check on progress or whatever, but it's all so much easier without 30-odd kg of bouncy dog 'helping', so I'm off to the garden centre to get some good stuff for my tomato plants and then picking Cooper up. I don't suppose I'll get much gardening done with Eva and Cooper helping, but it looks as though it will be too wet anyway!

I had a good catch up with my friend over lunch yesterday. I had forgotten how much we two talk when we are together!
After another very wet night, it isn't raining now. The forecast isn't too promising though.
I have a Tesco delivery early afternoon. I have included my mum's weekly shop so that's one less job to do. We are going to see my sister this afternoon.
I intend to do a preliminary holiday pack this morning. As in get summer clothes out and decide which to take etc.

It's raining here - a bit on and off, but more on than off!

They'd only got farmyard manure at the garden centre - I was hoping for spent mushroom compost. So I ended up with two very wet, heavy bags of the stuff on the back seat, and a few annuals and a lovely fuchsia in the passenger footwell. Cooper was very intrigued by the smell!!!

Gem - the two dogs love playing with each other, and they play very well together. Eva generally tires first - she's older and smaller - but after a short rest she'll start playing again. They both end the day ready for a meal and a good sleep.

We were so lucky with the weather managed to miss the rain both days only raining overnight ,
But it absolutely belted down coming home the roads were very dangerous with idiots speeding and no way could they see clearly with all the rain and spray from the lorries .

Afternoon all. It’s a little warmer but rain looks as if it’s not too far away.

Nan2 I really must discipline myself to use my slow cooker more than I do, whenever you say you have a meal in your slow cooker it’s all I can do to stop inviting myself over to yours for lunch, it always sounds so delicious.

I was due to meet the ‘girls’ for lunch last week but as per usual one or more couldn’t make it so it was cancelled yet again. I don’t know why I keep volunteering myself to sort out our get togethers, I sometimes think it’s not worth the hassle. Anyway we have a date in July agreed.... unless someone else drops out !

GS2 and his girlfriend have cancelled. Girlfriend has got a bad back.
So,got all my upstairs jobs done. just as the washer had finished with the bedding in,the rain started.

Off to look at Oma's new bag. Love the colour.

Guess what ? It's still raining here, proper rain, not like the drizzle we had yesterday either.

Been to the school to watch the YR 3 play about The Rocking Romans. They all did very well and it was nice to be part of the audience rather than keeping an eye on the children!

Think we're off to look at new mattresses and televisions this afternoon. Both are in need of replacement!

Non stop rain here, all night too.

Mimi, P is OK thank you. He came to the supermarket with me yesterday and did well. We both feel really tired today so are having an easy day, I have a good excuse not to cut the grass with all the rain.
