Hope everyone is managing to dodge the showers..When I went to work this morning it felt more like October than June.
I hope those those people off on their travels and visits have a lovely time.
Feeling righteous as I’ve just finished over an hour of hot hissy thing wielding. Tesco delivery put away and veg done for tea so I reckon that’s enough for today.
Very much like October Clover!
OH was ironing today when the ancient iron gave up the ghost. She has gone to buy a new one.
DD3 came round before I came out, to have a cuppa and bring my ( belated 🙄) birthday card.

Just a constant drizzle here today, but it poured down last night!
Been out for lunch with a group I belong to today, so no cooking tonight. OH has been to M&S and got himself a ready meal and a rather decadent looking chocolate cake ( for sharing)!
Off to tackle the i****** before the mood goes. At least it'll keep me warm!
Oma, what/where is Eden Camp?
Hope those lucky ladies heading off on breaks have a great time......and ,if it's sunny and warm, could you PLEASE bring some back with you ?
Believe you can and you're halfway there.
Theodore Roosevelt.
WG Eden camp is a big Museum all about 1 & 2 world wars has different huts ( about 30) depicting likes of the Blitz (Air raid warnings going off smells and rubble in exhibits ) , Black outs , Bomb damage , etc lots to see really good ,
Its on the outskirts of York
Another good day here. DH went for a short walk this morning and we both went out for a walk this afternoon. Only a short way but he did well. He says he feels so much better now. Thank goodness.
Weather still very changeable, sunny this morning then heavy rain this afternoon, we managed to dodge the showers.
Have a nice break, Oma.

I like Eden Camp Oma, not been for years.
Happy you and OH had another good day Enfys, and your MIL improved Nan2.
I am sooooo wet.
It rained all the way from the car park to the theatre, and the same on the return journey. My raincoat was dripping. When I got back to the car that part of the car park was flooded. I had to wade through water past my ankles. Hmmphhhhhh 😡

This morning I am having reflexology. With my knee and ibs flare ups recently, and usual neck pain, I think my body needs it!
Then I am going to meet a friend for lunch. We haven't met up since last summer,so will have a lot of catching up to do - especially as she isn't on FB. She's only in her early 40's but doesn't seem to have the social media habit
Enjoy your day, keep dry!

'Morning Gem and Nanto and all. Not actually raining at the moment but not holding my breath
Gem I think you certainly need and deserve your reflexology after your soaking yesterday.I hope you enjoyed the theatre. It’ll be lovely to catch up with your friend for lunch.
Nothing special planned for today except Pilates tonight though I dare say I might find a few jobs to do.
I hope everyone is feeling fine and has a good day.
Bon voyage, Avo. I hope the rain doesn't follow you. Do you take your pooch with you?
Oma - I hope the weather stays good for you today.
Clover - I can see your exhausted hot hissy thing, plus your halo from here! Well done.
Enfys - it's great to hear P is getting out and about a bit and is feeling such a lot better. xx
Nanto - pleased MIL is ok. Oh dear, I could do without thunderstorms today. We want to go away for a few days next week and I'm on a mission to get my tomatoes planted out and the melons planted in the greenhouse. I need to go to the garden centre for some mushroom compost first and then hope for a bit of dry weather to get the jobs done.
Gem - I hope the reflexology helps with your aches and pains, and it will be lovely to catch up with a friend you haven't seen for a while.
Clover - it seems we're all trying to dodge the showers. Enough is enough, bring back the sun!!

It is doing nothing atm, skies look very heavy, I have gone back into Winter clothes, it was like October yesterday. Nanto, I do hope you are wrong about the thunderstorms.
It sounds like you need that reflexology Gemini, hope it gives you some relief from your aches and pains.
I am taking my sil's mother for her appt. to have her new hearing aid fitted, I do hope it works and she uses it. Bathroom cleaning before that.
Enjoy your Pilates Clover.
What is life if full of care we have no time to stand and stare
Overcast but dry at the moment, I keep being told spring/ summer arrives earlier in Devon. I do not believe it for a second. I bought a climber to plant so hopefully will get that in the ground this morning. I have M overnight tonight after school it's a non pupil day tomorrow. So I am taking her into Exeter for a treat and replenish her wardrobe she is growing like a weed and is taller than me now. It will be Ts turn in July. SIL is taking the girls to Portugal for 9 days in the holidays as his parents have a place there. They will stay on for a further 5 days with the other Nanna. Sad they won't see DD for 2 weeks, but I can see SIL and girls are I need of a break for a while. We will up our visits while they are away.
Oma the place your at sounds right up my B's street he would enjoy that.
Plant hope the lady wears her new aids mine have been a godsend.
Avo have a great time and please bring the sun home with you, safe journey.
Gem enjoy your therapy, IBS is horrid 🤞 I haven't had a flare up for a while, could be tempting fate now.
Enfys so glad your OH is feeling a little better and managing to get a little exercise.
Daisy I think we will be going through a lot of soggy dog towels for the remainder of the week. Well better get this Solanum planted before the rain keep dry ladies.
