Oma - that sounds very nice! I'm glad we've gone for fabric this time rather than leather (apart from OH's chair!) It seems ages since we chose ours. I can't see the photo, but how lovely that the club appreciates all the work your DD does for them.

Gem - you have been a busy bee, but as you say, just what you needed. I like Paul Merton, too. I'm glad your DD1 was ok, but she was very sensible to come over to you rather than risk staying at home without another adult. How is OH's wrist now? I hope it's getting back to normal.

This afternoon OH fixed up my lovely new hosepipe to my lovely new tap. This one wraps itself back up onto the reel which OH has mounted on the back of the house. Eva loved the spray and had a good run round the garden chasing it!

We're still struggling with the new router - I can't even get into my emails or FB, but at least GRU is working!

Sunny here, not sure what the forecast is for today. I am picking up a friend this morning and we are going to a Guiding friend's house for a charity coffee morning, then bowls this afternoon. Must get a shift on so will report back later.

Oma, i can see the photo now. That was a lovely thing for them to do.

Got home from in laws @11.45,quick cup of coffee,then went out to cut the grass.
Broke off at 1.30 for soething to eat.
Then back out to finish it off.
Been a day of sun and cloud,but not cold.

Good afternoon. Another warm day here, managed to get out in the garden and hack some of the vegetation down before the green bin gets collected again. P feeling a bit brighter but he is frustrated at still feeling very tired. I think this will be a long term problem and won’t go away overnight but he looks and sounds a bit more like himself. He is able to walk down the garden path and back but then has to rest.

I did manage to get to my knitting group on Saturday and enjoyed it. Also, I was invited to another group that meets on Wednesday so will try and get along to that too.

GD FaceTimed us yesterday from Sydney. She and her boyfriend have both found jobs and an apartment on Bondi Beach, so now they can save up for the next part of their travel adventures. She sounded very happy.

Sunny this morning,but had some rain during the night.

Enfys,good news from GD,lovely for her to facetime you.
Will be good for you to join the other group.

DS1 popped in yesterday,brought a load of rhubarb from his garden.
Guess who will be making pies and crumbles for the freezer this morning.
Will give one to DS1 and also give one to in laws.

Hubby's morning out today,so hopefully i will be able to crack on.

Good morning ladies.

Getting out to these groups will do you good Enfys. It must be frustrating for your OH to be so tired, good to hear he is looking more like himself though.
A lot of rain here In the night Nan2, it will do the gardens good! OH brought the first crop of our rhubarb in last night. I think this is the 3rd year we have had the plant, but the first with anything worth cooking

GS1 from school today, presumably staying at their house as he has been here a lot recently. I will do some shopping first.
OH had put her name down for a golf competition today but is nowhere near ready yet. Her playing partner recently had varicous vein surgery, and although back to golf, doesn't feel ready for all the standing of a competition, so they have withdrawn.
