Good morning ladies.
Pretty graphics Mimi and Nan2!
I don't think I have been to Pontefract Nan2, I should go one day.
Naughty DS needs to go on an NHS waiting list straight away Mimi, as you have to wait ages to get on their books, at least where I am you do.
I forgot to mention that yesterday saw a stream of people turning up to collect tomato plants! Despite offering them to friends and family, we still had a lot spare, so I put them on the local FB page. One of the ladies insisted on giving me some money for the GC! The older 2 were delighted, the little one oblivious
We are dropping off 2 today to a lady who is disabled.
The sun is shining here, so I hope it is on all of you, especially Daisy for the barbecue.
Tonight I am going to see Paul Merton at the theatre. I booked my seat months ago. He makes me laugh so much.
Today we need a bit of shopping and may go looking at washing machines. Ours is on it's last legs.
Have a good Saturday everyone.“A grandchild fills a space in your heart that you never knew was empty.” – Unknown

Sorting out a new mobile is a minefield, I desperately need help from my GS, he has returned my messages but I think he might be away. My other knowledgeable GS is at University and probably doesn't rise until midday at the weekend. Now I have misplaced one of my handsets of the house phone. I carry it around from sunroom to house.
Do you buy Pontefract cakes Nanto, my OH used to love those. Have a lovely shopping trip.
Daisy have a lovely family time today, it looks like a good day, weatherwise.
I am sure the folk were pleased to receive your tomato plants Gemini. I like Paul Merton. What is life if full of care we have no time to stand and stare

Good morning, very hot here so haven’t done much but managed to get out for a short walk earlier on. I’m trying to have a walk every day, settles my mind a bit, could begin to feel the black cloud descending so,needed to do something about it.
P is still extremely tired but seems a bit brighter in himself. I am going to try and get to my Knit and Natter this afternoon, but will seee how he is after lunch. He wants me to go and I’d only be a couple of hours and it’s only 10 mins away in the car.
We bought a kiddies paddling pool for Dexter (the dog) and I’m tempted to fill it up and sit with my feet in it!
Hope youre all having a good day. 🌞"Don't cry because it's over, smile because it happened." - Dr Seuss

Good afternoon.
I hope you went out Enfys.
We delivered two tomato plants to a very sweet lady, then dropped in at C and P's. OH is borrowing a series of books from C. We thought they were out as the book was in a plastic bag on the garden table, as arranged. Then C opened the back door! They hadn't left yet, so we went in for cuppa and chat.
Then to Tesco, then to M and S for a sandwich and John Lewis to look at washing machines.
We came home and laid little cat to rest under the apple tree.“A grandchild fills a space in your heart that you never knew was empty.” – Unknown

Absolutely lovely day here after doing the neccesaries hubs got out my new garden recliner, and there I stayed for about 4 hours reading my book. Did nod off at one point I confess. All change tomorrow apparently back to gloomy weather, come on June it's supposed to be summer. Enfys my sister goes to a knit and natter in Upton."What doesn't kill us,makes us stronger."

Evening All,
Never had a pontefract cake, I have no Idea what one is. Please enlighten this poor southener! I could ask OH (Leeds boy) but he is at our bridge league AGM. I haven’t gone as my partner couldn’t go. Glad really as I am beside myself with tireditis, bad night last night and gardening all day, GS1 came and weeded my veg patch which was a big help. Pots and tubs now planted, bamboo thinning tomorrow. 😬
LG tomorrow you can read your book indoors instead. 😁 When I have a good book on the go, I take it everywhere, yes, there as well! Nothing gets done.
Trying to talk myself out of eating the Curlywurly that is in the GC’s treat box but failing. Too late!
Sleep well each.Women are like tea bags; you never know how strong they are until they are put in hot water.
