Good morning everyone, and Hi to Globe Trotter Oma
WG, I once left my Tesco credit card at the pumps at Asda petrol station, but someone handed it in, so I was lucky.
Good weather for gardening Nan2.
It was lovely having DD3 and SIL here last night, for food, chat, and couple of games of Sequence (a favourite around here) It felt as if they hadn't been away at all!!
Today we are going to lunch with a friend and her mum. From there to collect GS1 from school. As OH can't get home under her own steam, she will be coming with me to DD1's.
Have a good day everyone.

Gemini, I should think OH must be very frustrated not being able to drive and most of all Golf. I am sure your evening with DD3 and sil was most enjoyable, lovely to have them back.
Lovely to hear from you Oma, enjoy the rest of your trip.

It was bad enough not being able to drive with a broken finger.....I feel for S's frustration! It won't be long now before it's off though.
Plant, I think it was used in this country on a Chinese website! Mine was where he'd left it on the arm of DD's sofa! So that's been destroyed ( card that is,not sofa!) and new cards are on their way. Honestly, I can't leave him alone for any length of time.
Been a glorious day here. Usual Tuesday, yoga and school. Replacement teacher at yoga, who was a lot harder than our usual. Some strange positions! Was glad when we had our relaxation at the end!
The charity I did the walk for on Sunday raised over £15,000 ! It was a lovely walk and a lovely way to see London from the river bank and the bridges. OH now wants to go on The Eye. I was surprised he hadn't been, but I've always been the one to take visitors. So I'll get tickets sorted out and we'll have another trip there.
Believe you can and you're halfway there.

I've been up since 5.Feel like i've done a full shift already.
Pie filling in the slow cooker.Tidied up from breakfast.
Washing out on the line.
Cleaning window frames and windows soon.
Hope you all enjoy the sunshine.
Sometimes I forget to like posts, but that doesn't mean I don't like them.
Enjoy your last few days Oma!
That's a fantastic amount raised for the charity WG, and it sounds a lovely walk to do .
Nan2, you have been busy early. I am still in bed!
A nice social day for me. We are having a day out with our friends C and P (I can't remember where, it was their suggestion this time)
I am eating out with 2 friends tonight. It wasn't planned to be all on the same day, but one of my friends was asked to have her baby GD overnight on our orignal night.
I have been so tired lately, I think all the extra driving is wearing me out! P is driving today.
A week today and OH's cast comes off. She will be so glad !!
Have a nice day everyone.

I'll pop in later to catch up - hope everybody's being good!
We're out for coffee and lunch with a group of OH's ex-colleagues today, it's all go!
Oma - I've pm'd you - twice because I didn't see your message before I hit the keyboard! Enjoy your last couple of days. xx
Gem - enjoy your lovely social day as well. I'm not surprised you're tired - it's not just the driving, I'm sure you have had to do more around the house than usual. It's all those little jobs that add up, plus your DD3 and SIL coming home. Roll on next week for S.
Nanto - you're a busy lady. I wish I could get up and get things done first thing like you do. Pity there were not leftovers!
WG - well done on your fund raising - that's a good total, and you had an interesting day as well.

Morning ladies I thought I would get on here early today, I tend to do my chores early and play later but by the end of the day I’m a bit jiggered and don’t come on here, especially if it’s been a boring day .
We had a lovely meal with DS yesterday lots of chatting as we miss that , the kids are always nattering daddy and we can’t have a proper conversation ,so it was very chilled out .
Oma time has flown hasn’t it I hope you have had the best holiday .
I am about early as I’m going into Leeds to buy some summery clothes with holidays in mind, but I need a blazer type jacket sometimes you just need more than a cardi but not a coat ,but won’t hold my breath , I’ve texted Dd as she works in central Leeds to have a sandwich with at lunchtime ,but sometimes she is busy at work I havnt heard back from her,
OH has the paw of the black dog in the house so I’m going out for a few hours or I’ll be joining him 🤦*♀️
Enjoy your sunny day ladies 🌞
Its been a difficult few days, poor DH suffering with the chemo this time. He tries so hard to be upbeat but sometimes it’s just too much for him. So we’re just pottering, he’s sleeping a lot and I’m just trying to do everything as normally as I can.
So just a quick hello from me, have a good day everyone 🌞

Enfys I’m sorry OH has been hit hard by the chemo. Sleep is the best for him.
Qwerty I hope your OH feels better soon as well. Enjoy your shopping. It could be your lucky day.
WG well done on raising so much money.
Gem, I hope once S’s plaster is off you can get back to your more usual routine and feel less tired.
Oma make the most of those last two sea days.
Hope those going out socially have a lovely time.
We seem to have been caught up in circle of medical appointments. Blood tests and dentist last week and this week Haematology hospital appointment for me and Annual MOT for OH with practice nurse. My appointment went well apart from the usual wait. No change,so 4 months reprieve. When the lovely nurse told us about the hour plus wait I said I’d brought a book and she said “You know us too well!” OH’s MOT resulted in an increase in diabetic medication but otherwise all well. Just wish his mental health could be the same.We have an appointment at Memory clinic next week which I hate with a passion as it just rubs salt in the wound for me. We have to go to tick their boxes I think or else his medication could be “reviewed” Subtle blackmail or what!
Oh dear, several poorly OH's, I do hope things improve soon.
Good luck Qwerty with the shopping spree
Hope you have a nice lunch Daisy.
It was WI this morning, resolutions, chat and ploughmans lunch. Then I went to pick up sil's mother to take her to the hearing aid clinic, they are going to fit her with new aids, I do hope they work, went back to her house for a cuppa and a chat, she is soon to be 92 and is getting very frail, was a bit muddled headed today.
