    Finally, I'm catching up.

WeeGranny - that ditch filling in sounds like a big job. Thanks goodness the mud went on a plastic sheet, not your lawn! I bet the children were delighted to see you in school again. How is your back now?

Clover - it's never much fun going to the dentist, but good to get away with a filling replacement rather than a crown. As Enfys said, it rained over night, after a couple of really heavy showers today has been ok, but somebody must have had the rain from some very black clouds that passed overhead.

Enfys - your new WI sounds very busy and good fun. Just what you need, although I'm sure it's eased your mind a little to know GD has arrived safely. Did P get the lights finished. Hopefully he didn't make himself too tired.

Clover - I hope the phlebotomist took enough blood! I can just imagine the Consultant's face if you tell him to write more clearly!

Plant - how lovely, a little sister for your GGS. When is she due? We didn't have any thunder at all, and only a few scattered showers.

Mimi - as Clover, says I think we can all feel down in the dumps at times and haven't got enthusiasm for anything. Have you tried writing down how you feel - it can help some times. Meanwhile - sending you hugs, and thank you for letting us know.

Avo - 23C would be perfect!!! I'm glad you're having a lovely time. Yes please to the sunshine.

Gem - I'm sure even a little improvement in your mum's hearing will help - especially on the phone. Are you feeling all chilled out after your treatment?

Qwerty - you're in for a busy couple of days.

We had a lovely lunch out - I'll write about it in my Journal tomorrow.

It's an early start for us in the morning. OH has a hospital appointment at 8.15!

Daisy it’s an early night for you then. I hope you don’t have to travel too far to the hospital and that everything goes well for OH.

I missed that news about Plants GGD!
Lovely news, I've heard of nothing but boys born recently!

Daisy hope OH's appointment goes well.

Avo, it would be lovely if you could bring some sun and warmth back with you.

I can't see ZIZI popping in,but i have posted for their anniversary,in Something to Celebrate.

            Good morning all.

            This grey weather is depressing.
I wish Zizi would call in Nan2. And Libra, NannyCuddles, Mamma Mia and others missing in action!
As I did my mum's weekly shop yesterday, I only have take it to her mid afternoon, and stay for a couple of hours of course.

I hope everyone has a good day ahead.

Good afternoon. The best I can do for sun right now is this:

I do hope Avo brings the real thing back with her. I hope Mr and Mrs Oma are having good weather, too.

It looks and feels rather wintery today - dull, windy and chilly. We got back from the hospital about 10 o'clock-ish, but OH's eye was very painful today. It does seem to vary. So he's half-listening to the News Channel on tv and having little naps. Hopefully he'll be ok for tomorrow because he's going out tomorrow evening. Clover - it's Southampton Hospital - this morning it only took us 20 minutes to get there so we were very lucky.

It would be lovely to hear news from all of our 'missing' members. We hope any of you reading this are ok.

Gem - I do hope your mum is feeling a bit better and more cheerful now she's had her ears syringed.

I'm going to get lunch now, but I'll write about yesterday's lovely lunch out later. Today it's back to real life - a cheese and chutney sandwich or a cheese salad one!! We know how to live it up, don't we.

WG - Oh my goodness - that looks like a long, long ditch. It must have been a real nuisance if it flooded in wet weather. At least now ground water will be piped away.

Ditches are quite an issue in parts of our village - if just one householder doesn't look after their section it can cause real problems. We're lucky we don't have any!

Qwerty - You must be exhausted after all that. It's hard work with two GDs of different ages, but the twins must be much more taxing, much as you love them. At least you'll be looking nice and glam with your hair done - but you always look glamm anyway! How lovely for the twins going to Paris for their birthday - Disneyland? I hope the weather's good for them.

Qwerty, i bet the twins will love Disneyland.

                          Off to in laws later.

                            Good morning Nan2, and others!
Nice to see the sun on your graphic at least Nan2!
Its sunny here, amongst the clouds. At least the perpetual grey of the past few days is gone and blue can be seen

GS2 day. I don't think I will be collecting GD, as it is the monthly Fun Club after school.

We are going to the hospital this morning. OH's cast is so uncomfortable now she is having it replaced with a lighter one. They said she could any time after 3 weeks, and it's 3 and half now. She has an appointment time at the Plaster Room, so hopefully it will be a quickish job.

Have a good day all, I wish you sun!

Good morning, Nanto, Gem and all who follow. Nanto - the cheery graphic brought a smile to my face. The weather feels a bit better this morning - some sun, high cloud but still chilly. Hopefully it will warm up later.

Gem, poor S, she must be getting very fed up. The lighter cast will make things more comfortable for her. I hope you don't have to wait around and GS2 doesn't get bored but I'm sure he'll be a good boy.

Good to hear from the Omas.

I'm not sure what my plans will be for today. I'll write about it on a new thread!

                              Have a good day everyone.

Daisy, DD and GS are meeting us at the hospital so I don't think I will have to entertain him for long, there is a little play area in the ED waiting area - which the closest to the plaster room.
The sky is less blue and more grey now! Better weather is forecast this weekend I believe.
