Good Wednesday morning folks.

I didn't get back on here last night. I was so tired after dog training I went straight to bed. I'll read about all your news later, but have to 'get going' this morning. We're going out to lunch today to a local 5 Star hotel. Our DSs gave us vouchers for our 50th anniversary, and we've kept waiting for a 'special occasion' to spend them. But every special occasion seems to have been busy with no time for a lovely relaxing day. So today's the day! Really looking forward to it - I'll report back. It's a pity it's pouring with rain, but hey ho, can't be helped.

We have a voucher for The Ivy, and we are not going to save for anything special. I think we will celebrate OH's cast coming off. She doesn't fancy going with that on, eating is not so easy!

Rain here too, but the sky is brightening, so maybe it'll stop soon! The lads are working on the ditch which already has quite a lot of water in it. More gravel on the drive and there's space for another lot!

Not much planned for today though the i****** is calling to me!

We have just got back from having blood tests.The phlebotomist couldn’t read the writing on one of my forms for the test I have to have before my hospital appointment next week so didn’t know what phials to use,so she took two extra just in case She also said to ask Consultant to write more clearly next time I can’t see me doing that

Rain here overnight and still raining. I was hoping to get in the garden today as I have a free day.

After my lovely reflexology treatment we went to collect OH's medication and went to Aldi for bargains.
Off to collect my mum soon.

We have thunder and lightning now ! The lads still working in all this rain, but using the digger to get the gravel from drive to wheelbarrow rather than shovelling!

Not stopped raining all day.
I didn't go to our friends as E was going out. Hubby went on his own.
Anyway i got the ironing done and a few other jobs done.
After dinner i cleaned the oven.

Afternoon all.
I have made myself come on here today. Nothing to do with all you lovely ladies, it’s me. Finding it hard to summon up interest in anything at the moment. I have spent most of the afternoon just lying on the sofa.
I know I have to shake myself up and stop being so silly so if I don’t post on here regularly at the moment please forgive me I will bounce back. I just need to go and have a strong word with myself.

Just to cheer you all up is 23 degrees here in Portugal and I went on a brilliant boat trip round the grottoes today. Lunch at Praia da Luz and then onto the 🏖 beach. Last full day tomorrow. I’ll try to bring home some sunshine ladies !

Mum had her ears syringed. She can hear a bit better, but as she is quite deaf and can't manage hearing aids, sadly it can't be the cure all she hopes for. I did her shopping on my way home, to take to her tomorrow which gives me more time to myself tomorrow. DD3 is going to see her on Saturday so that should cheer her up.

We have had a really close storm, thunder shook the house and lightning followed very quickly after. It has been raining on and off all day, so I have not done much. Started a new peioce of needlework and played with GGS. Aqua cancelled for tomorrow as they don't have a lifeguard. I do hope I will be able to get into the garden instead.

Your mother will be very pleased to see GD3 on Sat. Gemini.
