Morning friends a lovely sunny day here , I might appear in the garden at some point but only to sit out, we bought 2 box trees and pots for the front of the porch last week so heβs planting those this morning after a good sweep of the drive.
ironing awaits from our trip and a clean sweep through the house for me , braised steak for tea π oh and pick up from school might be able to walk up without a coat today.
Gem hope S has a pain free visit at the hospital.
Enjoy your day everybody
B got Bone density scan this morning and I have GS1 ,
GS1 is Grounded and in the dog house . he went out yesterday morning and couldn't be contacted for 6 hours he hadn't charged his phone and after the battery had died and in stead of using his friends to text his Mam to say what had happened and where he was he just wandered in at 9.30 as though nothing was wrong ,
He agrees he deserves his punishment though as he realised how upset Mam was and how Angry Dad got .
Think its a lesson learned
Good morning everyone. It's nice and sunny here, but not warm yet! Fingers crossed, though.
I've done my last two days of Easter holiday child care, followed by dog training last night, and feel a bit like Qwerty - " ... and breathe"! but without having had all the parties! Then yesterday our new house guest for Easter arrived - Bailey, DS1's Border Collie. He's no trouble, very good boy but he doesn't travel well. So when he woke me up a 1.30 am I thought he needed a trip to the garden. He didn't - just a sniff round and came back in all but grinning at me. Then 6 am I woke up to the most awful smell - oh, no, it could only be one thing! But it wasn't. OH had left Eva's empty food bags in the utility room, and he's not great at opening windows, so the house had been shut up for 2 days. So after cautiously peering round the house for ages and finding nothing I realised what the problem was! Yeuk! Men! Anyway, we've got nothing planned for today except take the dogs to the paddock to tire them both out, and then tonight we're going to the theatre again - two trips in two weeks! I'll report back on that tomorrow.
But I must get a shower and get on with making good on two days of neglect - and opening all the windows!!
Sorry I haven't commented on all your comings and goings - my brain's gone to mush this morning. Take care!

Yes hopefully he will have learned from that Oma! Kids have no idea how scared adults get when they can't be contacted. They know that are OK, that's all they think about!
Enjoy the garden today Qwerty. The weekend forecast is good, I think there will be a lot of us outside!

Oma, he did push the boat out didn't he.
Hope GS1 has learned his lesson.
Good luck to B for his scan.
Gardening is done, well i've cut the grass, hubby just doing a few odd jobs outside.

Sometimes I forget to like posts, but that doesn't mean I don't like them.
They are monkeys Oma she must have been out of her mind , you could throttle them couldnβt you but hopefully it will be a lesson well earned most kids do it at some point
GS1 was certainly in for a rollicking when he eventually got home Oma.
Daisy you certainly seem to be stretched always ATM. At least we are forecasted good weather so the dogs can get outside.
Nothing much planned for me over Easter weekend, something might crop up but I shall be content in the garden. My youngest GD is moving into a flat share in London next week so DD, GD and I are going to JL on Friday, I am going to treat her to some bedding, we are going there as DD has a discount card because GD1 works at Waitrose.
What is life if full of care we have no time to stand and stare
We had a nice lunch and catch up with my friend, then all went smoothly for OH at the fracture clinic .
Friends who were dropping in tonight as they were going to be in the area and will not be now, so we can just chill out for the rest of the day now

Well we discovered there is a girl on the scene again so that explains where he was
He has learned his lesson and will make sure he has his phone fully charged and on him now

I'm looking forward to Saturday's good weather Nan2. We will be at DD'2, so hopefully enjoying the garden
I'm off for my carpel tunnel injection this morning. OH coming with me. Hopefully if I can't release the hand break to drive home, due to a numb left wrist OH will be able to take it off for me with her uninjured right arm!!!
This afternoon mum and I are going to see my sister.
Have good day everyone.

Good morning one and all. what a pretty graphic, Nanto.
Oma - thank goodness GS1 was ok - you can't help worrying when they go silent like that. I hope remembers to keep in touch with his Mum and Dad!
Plant - it's nice to have a free week-end, although, as you say, things change!
Nanto - I'm still in shock from your OH sorting out some items for the charity shop. I wish my OH would!
Grauntie - did you upload the photos to your Media - accessed via your Profile? That should work unless they are too large - 2 Mb per pic is the forum limit.
Gem - I'm glad OH's trip to the fracture clinic went ok. What colour case did she choose in the end? (Sorry if you've posted elsewhere) Our posts crossed - I hope your injection helps. I have to smile - you and OH making one fully operational driver between you. I hope your mum and sister are ok. xx
Oma - was B's bone density scan ok or don't you know the results yet?
Qwerty - did you manage to have an easy day yesterday? It sounded pretty busy to me!
WeeGranny - I hope you enjoyed your trip to the river. How's your mouth today?
I've got a day at home today, and hopefully the watery sun will improve soon so I can get out and cut the grass. I'll write about our theatre trip a bit later.
