    Good morning all.

Nan2, the tea set looks very inviting!
I hope the results are good for B and he needs no top up Oma.
I hope the antibiotics are doing their job Plant,
Daisy, I'm sorry you didn't feel well on Tuesday, but glad your DIL was astute enough to realise. Are you OK Now? Take as much of a free day today as you can!
Qwerty, you are right, the look on their faces when they see us in the playground is worth it

This morning Glen , the insurance assessor is coming to look at our bit of burned/melted carpet.
This afternoon shopping for my mum then visiting her.
I had a nice browse round the little shop in the village who had its Christmas night last night. It was so full, we had to come outside to queue with our baskets to go back in and pay. A most successful night for the owner, even with the 10% discount. She opened from 6.30 until 9.30, so would have taken a lot I imagine. Giving Prosecco was a good move. That on a empty stomach made me be freer with what I put in my basket I got some nice presents though.

    Have a good Thursday everyone.

Daisy, do hope you are feeling better, you don't need me to tell you that you are doing too much, well done your dil.

That sounds a fun bit of shopping Gemini, Prosecco was a good idea.

Grauntie we nI eed a pic of that hair cut. sounds a bit drastic.

Made a decision not to go to aqua this morning, the thought of bouncing up and down with my poorly tooth didn't appeal. I have made an appt. to talk (on the phone) with my lovely doctor tomorrow morning to seek his advice as to the best move when the tooth has settled down, either dentist or hospital removal and the risks involved with either due to the drug I have injected for my bones. In view of my ageing teeth I wonder if I should stop the injections if there is going to be this risk every time I have to have a tooth extracted. Need to do my food shopping today, as Dr. is going to ring tomorrow morning and my new dishwasher is being delivered between 2 and 9 p.m.

Hope the trip to the hospital goes well Oma, it would be good if B didn't need a top up

Qwerty, I hope your OH is feeling better

Good morning all. Opened the blinds this morning to discover that the neighbours just down the road have got their Christmas decorations up. Unbelievable !!!

Plant that root infection sounds nasty, hope it clears up soon.

Daisy the parcel was picked up just after 4 yesterday afternoon. I sure I was going to give the courier a piece of my mind but when I saw her she only looked about 12 so I didn't have the heart.

Nana enjoy your holiday, the sound of the sea is lovely whatever the time of year. IThats what I miss the most, I loved living near the sea when I was younger. Not a lot of fun when a storm brews mind!

Oma hope B's visit to the hospital goes well.

        Have a good day everyone

Gem and Plant - thank you for being concerned. My back still isn't right from driving OH's car a couple of weeks ago. It's more of a constant nagging ache than sharp pain, but I think it catches up with you and tires you out. In addition we've had a really busy time starting with half-term. Four trips up to DS1 in about 3 weeks is unusual and the journey can be a pain, plus what passes for 'normal life' of course! Next week will also be busy, but at least I never get bored! And when I need a sit down I can always come here and have a chat.

Gem - I hope the assessor agrees about the carpet. Your little local shop sounds lovely - and very good business sense to organise such a successful evening.

Plant - it's sensible not to go to Aqua with your infected tooth. You don't want to prolong the agony. Things aren't straightforward are they. Trying to balance the health of your bones and the health of your teeth is impossible really, but I hope the doctor can give you some clear guidance and put your mind at rest.

Mimi - you posted while I was typing. I'm pleased to hear your parcel finally got collected. I suppose it's not the fault of the courier's driver, but sometimes you just need to express your frustration. I'm not sure whether this will sooth your fevered soul, or send you running to the loo!

Good morning, lovely sunny day here. Sorry to hear a few of you are having problems, hope your back is better soon Daisy and you can get your tooth sorted out quickly Plant.

I’ve had to phone the hospital as P is still not feeling right and we don’t know if this is normal or not. I am waiting for a call back as the very helpful person i spoke to wasn’t sure who to put me through to, so it’s a waiting game at the moment. It just goes on and on 🙁.

Daisy we had the parcel sitting in the hall for several days but by the middle of yesterday morning I had to move it into the spare room to stop me giving into temptation by kicking it !

I hope P feels better soon Enfys, and you both get some reassurance from the doctor.
Good plan to avoid aqua today Plant.

The insurance assessor must be related to Mimi's Hermes man! He would come this morning, he told OH (we will both be out this afternoon) He would phone half an hour before arriving. There is not half an hour left of the morning, according to my clock!

                  Afternoon ladies ,
Plant I don't think I would feel up to bouncing around with a sore tooth either
Daisy you need a day in and rest up seems you are irritating the situation not having any rest , be careful you could pop the disc again .
Gem I cant understand why they give appointment times then ignore them , so frustrating .
Mimi I would be tempted to kick it too

Enfys fingers crossed its a normal reaction , he may just need time to heal and recover xxx

Everything fine at Hospital his Chinarism ( immune ) has risen to 49% a massive boost but still needs to be 100% so they going ahead with the top up either next Wednesday or the Wednesday after ,
This is the last of it so Martin may have to give some more but he knows that and is ok about it thank goodness .

The doctor who did the ablation last week rang me and we had a long chat. Apparently some people have no reaction at all but P is unlucky. Doc said it could take 10 days to a fortnight before he feels completely ok again, but seems there is nothing to worry about. He had two ablation done at the same time so I suppose it’s to be expected. He looked so well before and now seems to have gone backwards. He is sleeping on and off most of the time but at least he is eating which is good. Just feel so helpless. Can’t see an end to it, next thing the liver surgery 🙁

Enfys its a long road with lots of peaks and troughs , its almost 6 years since B was diagnosed and 2 at end of month since he had his transplant and we still have some problems ,

Sleep is good for healing and considering what the poor man has gone through his body needs to regenerate ready for the liver surgery ,

I know that feeling of lord when will this end!!! but when you think about it you have no choice but to soldier on do you ,
I still sometimes wake in a sweat wondering what the day will bring if he's feeling off colour , you cant help it you panic , Remember if the Dr isn't too concerned let yourself breath .
                        Big hugs xxx

Enfys it must seem like an endless battle, especially as P was looking well , you have to try and think on the positive side, at least he has started his treatment so it’s onward and upwards. Hang on in there we are behind you both all the way x

My OH had bowel cancer and a heart valve replaced, I remember being very worried, when he was discharged I felt very exposed and worried. You have both done very well Enfys, take one day at a time and look after yourself.

Sorry to hear B needs another top up Oma.

                                Evening all.

Enfys I’m sorry P is feeling low but I’m glad the chat with the doctor reassured you.Sleep is nature’s way of helping healing. It’s good he has an appetite
Oma it’s a shame B has to have a top up and who knows he may never need another one
Plant I hope your tooth settles soon.

We are home from DD’s and missing being with them like crazy.

The weather hasn’t been the best today, very windy, but I did manage a bit of tidying in the garden There seems to be a lot to do all of a sudden before it goes to bed for the winter. It’s as well I did a bit as there is a severe weather warning for tomorrow.

                                Enjoy your evening everyone.
