We're off in the dead of night tomorrow to catch an early morning flight 170 miles away.Couldn't get a decent hotel even in March, so thought we'd blow that money on stopping on the way back, and staying Premier and meeting up with Sis inLaw, BIL, OH's nephew and their 9 year old son. We fly home then stopover, have dinner and then lunch the following day and drive home after this. It makes the break longer and fulfils our need to see family members more often.
Menorca here we come, exhausted. We drive at 3 am Wednesday morning. Arrive if no hold ups at 11.30 am. and the place we are staying is a quick ride from the airport, so should be siesta time, shopping for supplies, then out for the night.
Mind you I have just seen Minny's awful hold up at a Turkish airport on FB. Ghastly for the whole group and everyone there. Can but hope it doesn't happen to us or they will have to carry me off the plane!

Hope everyone has a lovely holiday, we have just come back from Santa Ponsa, Majorca, with close friends, had a lovely relaxing holiday apart from the weather, not what we expected in August, on the flight getting into Majorca it was absolutely pouring down, and lightning, the whole aeroplane lit up, thankfully we were near landing, got drenched, our suitcases were drenched, all the clothes at the top of the suitcase was marked, I could have cried, but with the next 3 days of rain it didn't matter I didn't need them....hmmmmm so bought pac and macs and set off on our travels not letting the rain stop us, had lovely weather the Wed, Thurs and Fri, then lovely and sunny leaving the Saturday then back to rain in Newcastle.....so feel like another holiday on the cards but cant see it this side of the year.....still had a fabulous time....not letting a bit of rain, thunder and lighning stop us....How does a child spell Love..........T.I.M.E

Last year when we went to Majorca Elisi, rain was forecast for at least one full day of our week there. I kept checking the forecast LOL. In fact we had sunshine all the way. I hope you have little or no rain, and enjoy your holiday“A grandchild fills a space in your heart that you never knew was empty.” – Unknown
