Any more holidays?

Only August booked so far a big event in our family OH will be 70 so all the family are joining us in a rented house with pool 6 adults and 5 children, the lady that owns it in Norfolk has been very good she will tell us where to dine on the day it's his birthday and will book it for us also if we order a food delivery online she will wait for it arriving and put it away just a cake to sort out.
I feel this yr a few w/e away might be on the cards😎

Nan2, Millie B and Avo, how nice to go away in January and February , our darkest most miserable months! !

It seems a long time since our holiday last June, although we did manage a couple of weekends away too.
We are planning a week in the sun next summer with DD2, SIL, GD and GS#2, who will be 3 months old or so by then. I would like some time away just with OH and maybe a weekend with friends some time. Nothing booked at all yet however.

We have booked a couple of mini breaks for later in the year. We decided no big holiday next year but hopefully a few little breaks instead. We are going to make the effort to see more of our own country instead of travelling abroad

We're off next week to St Lucia .... just sorting out clothes etc for packing. Exciting times!

Enjoy your holiday Avo I could do with some time away but am stuck with the management of the shop at present as the Company don't have a spare Manager,I have 7 days owing from this years holiday quota and with two week-ends either side that adds up to 11 days in total so I think a bit of sun would come in handy,I don't really want to take Salary in lieu of hols as I think the Company should get its finger out and sort the temporary Manager Role they have known for ages that I am due holidays.Sorry for the moan ladies.xx

We had thought of going somewhere sunny this month or next, but the arrival of Eva has put plans on hold. We can't go away without giving her time to feel secure with us. It's a good job she's worth putting up with this awful wet weather!

Well I am all packed for our holiday on Friday. We are flying from Manchester to Barbados. There we get aboard the Adonia for our Caribbean cruise. We are also going down the Amazon. Hope everyone on here stays well and I will try and bring some sunshine back!

Oh Barbados, my favourite place. We are suppose to be looking at holidays for March when we usually go away for a week. Hopefully we can go to somewhere flying from Heathrow (a short hop for us) possibly Tenerife where the weather is usually good at that time of year. I have just looked over at husband and he is looking at .........HOLIDAYS YAY! I love him so much (at the moment) x
