Golf clubs are notorious for their rules, at one of our local clubs ladies were only allowed to play certain times of the day and might still do.

Plant the Ladies Roll Up at OH's club, which is when you just turn up and make teams from whoever is there, in one day a week. The men have theirs every day. The women's is the one which is moved for competitions. Makes me so cross.

I couldn't belong to a club who treated women as second to men. I suppose the ladies have reduced subscription.

The Club where my friend goes (where we meet up for lunch) have equal rules for mend and women, but you still get men being very dismissive of women golfers and think they should only play during the week! I expect this would be when they are unchained from the kitchen sink for a few hours!!

Are you Portuguese Avo? I see your holiday pics on Fbk. Maybe you have a second property there. You obviously love the place & from your pics it's no wonder.😎

I thought so. Wouldn't mind a dip in the pool.😉

My MIL used to listen to women's Hour every day. Way back it was broadcast at 2 pm and it was 'her' time with the current youngest child. Quite how she listened and played with baby/toddler I don't know.
