Oma, we are glad it's to be in the nursery garden so we can wear our sunglasses! He doesn't actually leave nursery until the end of August though.

Good morning, it is windy here with slight showers, warm again next week!

GD1 and her friend arrived safely at their hotel so they can enjoy their holiday.

DS1 and the rest of the family are in Brighton today then moving on to Margate for the concert.

I have been to the gym and done some shopping, I have been to the grower for my cucumbers.

They don't do the proms here. I think it is next Friday that GD2 gets presented with her certificate.

A young lady from the gym has just been to pick a cool box up for their holiday in France, I knew she was looking for one and I had one in the shed, I made sure that it worked first.

She loved the old cupboards etc, her style, not usual for a young person.

You will be pleased to know GD arrived safely Lizzie.
Prom here is a relatively recent thing, none of my girls had them.
It's another American import I think!

        Very sunny and windy here.
One of next doors cats greeted me in the kitchen this morning! We have our cat flap set to In only at night, unless both are in when we go to bed, then it's locked both ways. At some point she must have come in and found herself trapped! The litter tray hadn't been used by any of them so she must have hung on

            Hello everybody.

I've been out nearly all day - coffee and lunch with College friends - and we had a visitor when I got home.

It's been warm and sunny here, except in the wind. Parts of my dog walk this morning were like battling through a wind tunnel.

I'll try and catch up with everyone later, but must do the Sainsbury's order for tomorrow, and I think I'm on kitchen duty for dinner tonight!

                Good morning.

Daisy, sounds like you were busy yesterday socialising.

Hubby out for a couple of hours later, no plans for me.

Good morning Nan2 and everyone else.

                  Sunny and windy here again.

Little E and I need to be at nursery at 9.15, DD and SIL can come for the 9.30 start.
From there they are all heading to Wales for a weekend with friends
I will pick up GS1 on my way home. He is coming here for the day. He likes a sleep in so the later pick up suits him!
No school pick for GS2 as it's his school summer fair.

I know some schools discourage it now.
