Nanto, it's cute, and looks very summery.

Oma, MIL must be feeling better if she's grumpy again. No wonder you were worn out after the scan, being too hot, and visiting MIL. Her dinner sounded very nice - it's a pity she didn't enjoy it.

Gem, well done to OH for finding the chinos. It's a couple of years since I've shopped in M&S but similar clothes seem to be scattered all over the place in "collections". They don't look at it from the customer's point of view. Have a lovely time tonight. I think Chris McCauseland is very funny, and an inspiration.

I ended up feeling very tired today, so have had a day off! I took Eva out about 4 o'clock though, and it started to rain, just at the place where we were when the worst of the thunderstorm started the other night. She just froze and wouldn't move, so we came home. There was no point in keeping her out if she was frightened. It's rained off and on ever since.

              Good morning everyone.

I like this morning's graphic Nan2. Nice free gift for OH from the car boot sale!

Business as usual with MIL moaning then Oma.

Poor Eva, Daisy. Lots of dogs are afraid of thunderstorms I think. I remember a large German Shepherd dog at a Spanish villa we regularly stayed in as a family being so afraid of a storm we let him stay the night in our villa rather than walking back up the hill to his home as he usually did. Poor thing was obviously distressed.

My friend and I enjoyed Chris McCausland last night. It was a full house.
Aqua this morning, no other plans. I'm looking for some new canvas shoes, so I may look for some today. Golf for OH.

                MIL is home ,
                Got a phone call at 1 o'clock ,
We are discharging her and she's waiting for a ambulance ,
We usually get her so don't know why she was coming home in that.
Anyway about 10 minutes late she rang,
You have to come over now I'm in the Ambulance and I need someone to meet me ,
His sister was out , so we had to dash over , got there just as Ambulance people was leaving .
Hadn't got my coat off and it was I need a cup of tea now,
                Make me a bacon sandwich,
I said let me get my coat off,
Well you should have been here,
It's a 15 minute drive we got here as quick as we could , we even left our cup of tea and coffee we had just made to get here quick.

                I'm being neglected,
No body cares no body is doing anything for me , I need someone hear all the time.
I said excuse me if your going to be like that we leaving now ,
We all bend over backwards for you,
We all have our own lives , if you need someone all the time pay for a carer to come in more than once a day.

So she turned her back on me and sat looking out of the window,
I emptied her bag put everything away then put her washing on,

B made her a cup of tea and her bacon sandwich,
I waited till the washing was done and hung it to dry, by then his sister had arrived ,
So we put our coats on and i said we will come Thursday to go for your shopping,
She didn't answer so we left.

His sister rang said she had been awful to her as well .

                That woman is hard work

What a lovely lady she isn't.

The bathroom is finished at last. I'll post some photos later or tomorrow.

Oma, sending Hugs to you and B. You have enough to contend with and shouldn't have to put up with all this.

Nan2, looking forward to the bathroom pics, I hope you are pleased with it.

Well it didn't last long , we had to go back over and ring an ambulance,
Her oxygen dropped very low ,
She had rang SIL 3 times crying saying she couldn't cope on her own despite convincing the Drs she was ok to come home and could look after herself ,
Then she pulled the shelf out of the cupboard getting a bowl out and everything fell out ,
How she managed that I don't know,
Nephew went up and sorted it
Then crying she couldn't find her glasses so couldn't watch telly.
Finally SIL gave in and went up ,
Said MIL was coughing and breathless so put the monitor on her finger and her oxygen was only 63 should be between 82-94

Rang Brian so we went over and on the way he rang the ward she was on and they advised an ambulance .

Well she kicked off big time screaming at us and swearing ,
She wasn't going back in etc.

She finally gave in and has gone ,
We will go in the morning and try to speak to a Dr , she can't be at home alone now ,
It's getting so stressful and tiring,
Bs sister is worn out with her.

A very late "hello" from me.

Nanto, at last, your bathroom is all done. Are you pleased with it?

Oma, I don't suppose you got to Farm Foods with MIL coming home and then having to go back in to hospital. No wonder her oxygen levels went down if she was that cross she was screaming and swearing at you all. It is far too stressful for you, B and SIL to continue like this. You do need to consider your own health and well being. Sending hugs. xxx

Gem, I'm glad you enjoyed Chris McC last night. I think theatre takes you into another world in a way that cinema doesn't. Just my view of course. How was Aqua today? I hope you weren't too tired afterwards. Did you find the shoes you wanted?

It's been one of those days today. I had a blood test at the local hospital then we went into the town for OH to try and get his hearing aids problems sorted. But we forgot to take our parking clock, so had to pay. The audiologist was unhelpful and rude - OH was steaming. He had to make several phone calls when we got home, and it was one of those days when you end up 15th in the queue on those irritating phone systems. I was tired by then as well. The weather was unpleasant - dull, windy and cold, so definitely no gardening. I tried to get some odd jobs done after lunch but nothing went smoothly and I just got cross with myself.

I finally managed to get Eva to go for a walk. It took half an hour to coax her along our road, which would usually take about 10 minutes, allowing for long sniffs. She was better once we'd got out of our road and onto the Forest, but I didn't dare let her off in case something else startled her and she bolted. We did see three gorgeous new-born foals and their mums outside the house we used to live in. The mums were grazing on the grass verges and the foals were just standing close watching the world go by. We're so lucky to have this on our doorstep. Going for a walk definitely cheers me up!
