      It has Nan2!
All busy enjoying the lovely weather hopefully.

We had a good Sunday lunch, then went back with our friends for a cuppa at theirs.

        Hello everybody.

We're back home after our week-end with DIL1. It didn't go as planned, but I'm really tired now so I'll tell you all about it tomorrow. I have an early start for a blood test in the morning, but hope to catch up with everyone when when we get back.

By the way - it was a lovely week-end, just not what we'd planned. Everyone is ok.

I think it's going to be a nice day weather wise.

Work starts on the bathroom this morning.

Off to sort some washing now.

          I'll pop back later.

              Good morning everyone.

Daisy I'm sorry that your weekend didn't go as planned, but glad to hear all is OK.

How are you today Oma? I'm sure Storm will enjoy his stay at Nannas.

I hope the bathroom all goes smoothly Nan2, what birthday fun!

OH has two chiropractor appointments this week which she is looking forward to, as the initial one was very helpful. Friends are commenting that she is limping less.
My shoulder has been very stiff and painful the last few days. Luckliy it is my monthly massage on Wednesday. I will avoid too many arm and shoulder moves at the pool this morning.

Aqua this morning. No coffee with friends as I am meeting DD2 with little E in the baby pool after my class in the adjoining one. She has decided to take him there on her day with him this week.
Then I must call in to DD1s to borrow her cat carrier. Vet appointment for booster jabs this afternoon, and we only have one carrier.

                Good Monday afternoon everyone.

Nanto, I hope you're enjoying your birthday, despite the work going on in the bathroom. Your shopping on Friday sounded good - nice cuts of beef and night scented stock seeds especially. Washing on your birthday - I do hope it's dried ok.

Oma, I imagine your local Pets at Home now has bare shelves where you've chosen treats for Storm. I'm not implying that you spoil him, of course! I'm sure he will thoroughly enjoy his little holiday with you. How is your kitchen looking now? It's a pity about the short panels, but hopefully they won't take too long. (Sorry if you've said, and I've missed it!). Thank goodness B's bloods were ok, but I agree with Gem - a little holiday would do you both the world of good.

Gem, A good Sunday lunch is lovely, nice and leisurely. Your OH must be pleased, and relieved that the chiropractic treatment has eased the pain. Will she be ok for a game of golf afterwards? Just a thought, would that also help your stiff and painful shoulder? How did little E enjoy his swimming this morning? Taking P and M for their booster must mean you've had them about a year? It doesn't seem 5 minutes since they were tiny little kittens. Did you enjoy your Sunday lunch at the Golf Club?

Plant, how nice to come home and find your bed had been changed. Perhaps a franchise like Molly Maid would be more reliable for you. They've been around for years.

We left for the hospital really early this morning. It's only about 20 minutes away, but with the gas pipe replacement road works at the end of our road you never know how long you might have to wait to get through. As it happened there was no hold up, so we got to my appointment very early. We were on our way out before the appointment time, and we'd stopped at the little hospital shop for a couple of things. We did a couple of errands in the next village as well. For some reason we were both tired when we got home. I'll get the results of the blood test tomorrow when I speak to the consultant.

It's warmed up a bit now and the washing is drying nicely. I'll take Eva out in a minute for a walk in the sunshine.

Daisy, it's good when things go smoothly with appointments, Traffic is such an unknown quantity isn't it?
OH isn't up to playing golf yet. She has two sessions with the chiropractor this week so we are crossing our fingers for next week.
Poppy and Moses will be two in August They are very glad to be home from the vets and tucking into tuna as a treat. The vets nurse was lovely but cats hate to be made do anything so being being shoved in baskets, into a car and deposited on an examination table is a huge insult and stressful!

I had a lovely time with DD2 and little E in the small pool after my class, then we had lunch together.

Hubby has trimmed the hedge,so i followed him with the sweeping brush and bin.

Gem, I seem to have lost a year of P and M's lives! How did that happen. They must have been very indignant at being poked and jabbed, so I hope the tuna made up for it. Fingers crossed to your OH for golf next week. I bet Little E will sleep well tonight after his fun in the pool.

Nanto, we posted together. I hope the lovely presents and cards made up for the boring day. Sweeping up the hedge trimmings must be up there with the non-best birthday ever. xxx

Are Poppy and Moses over the trauma of the vets ,

Those pipe works seem to be going on for a long time don't they,
Are these bloods before your treatment on Friday?

I am loving my kitchen ,
The amount of boxes to go to the tip is ridiculous,
B and GS doing that at the weekend.

How's the bathroom coming along ?
Not how you planned to spend your birthday though is it .

GS came before he drove back to York then SIL called in after work just for a cupper and chat,
The eagle on our village green has a plaque now explaining how old the tree was and why they chose a eagle ,
