Good Friday morning, everyone.

Nanto, the grass is growing quickly now, I bet. Gammon and pineapple is my OH's favourite.

Oma, I hope MIL is ok and having treatment for her chest infection. Thank goodness B's kidney function is stable. No matter how tired you are I bet you're always pleased to see GS1 and Lucie. Storm is very good, taking tablet like that. We have to hide Eva's YouMove tablets in her food, and she often fishes them out.

Lizzie, thank goodness you're ok. I hope the hospital are taking great care of you. I can imagine how busy Euro Disney would be. It seems nearly half UK schools are still on holiday this week. There are still plenty of families on holiday in our village.

We're dropping Eva off at DS2's after lunch and then going up to DIL's for the week-end. DIL and I are going on our long awaited glass fusion workshop tomorrow, and really looking forward to it, although neither of us have decided on a design yet. We'll come home on Sunday.

I have booked a decorator to decorate my kitchen and bathroom. He has been decorating for us for some years so I will wait until he has some space. I had my Covid jab this morning, met a friend there so we went for a coffee and a chat. When I got back my bedding had been changed presumably by my DD, I must go and thank her. No news from cleaner.

MIL gave up smoking last year , she wouldn't have been allowed oxygen if she had still been smoking,

How nice to come home to fresh bedding .

Doors are on but need adjusting still and the protective coverings are still on , he also put the oven and hob in,
Tomorrow he will do all the bits that need cutting like side panels and kick boards and the extractor fan ,
It's starting to look good and tidy ,
Now there is a pile of old doors and lots of boxes in the garden ,
GS & B will take them to the tip at some point.

I'm not sure if I have asked you this before Plant, but have you considered Molly Maid cleaners? It's an agency so if the regular cleaner was unavailable someone else would come. Very reliable with high standards. My auntie had them before she moved and my DD2 has had them for years.

Our plumber is here, as we had a few jobs which needed doing. He is servicing the boiler, fixing a new mixer tap in the kitchen and replacing a valve on the radiator in the downstairs loo.
This evening our friends A and G are coming for a meal and catch up and probably board games

Fitter has discovered 3 small side panels are too short , so they are getting ordered on Monday ,
He said it would be a few days but fingers crossed everything else will be done today,

I'm very tired , we were both up again at 4.30,
I did my ironing and took a Duvet back to Dunelm,
I had picked up a double instead of a king-sized yesterday,
I might have a lie on the bed later.

Gemini, I have heard of Molly Maid, I will look them up. My cleaner is coming on Tuesday, DD and GD have sorted out my bed. I am a very tidy person so it never looks as if it has missed a clean. Have a nice evening with your friends
