    Good morning, breezy this morning.

Plant, sorry you've had trouble getting on here again. Wish i knew what the problem is.

Car going for its MOT today, hence the graphic.
Doesn't seem like a year since it was done.
If weather permits we usually have a walk round the village where the garage is.

No other plans for today, apart from usual.
Sometimes I forget to like posts, but that doesn't mean I don't like them.

      Good morning everyone.

Plant, I hope you have more success getting here today .

Good luck for the MOT Nan2. If it's as windy as it is where I am take care out and about!

Oma, it sounds as though your home is becoming livable again!

We had a really nice evening with our friends. The first time we have been out with friends this year, due to all that has been going on. It did us good.
Little E from nursery after lunch and staying overnight as is the Thursday routine.
Gale force winds forecast here, so we will stay in once I get him safely back. My little car rocks in the wind and I hate it.

        Morning Nanto, ladies.

        Nanto
I hope the car passes and no money has to be pulled out.
It's blustery here but no. Rain yet , hopefully it's like that your end and you can have. A walk around.

I'm at a loss of what it could be ,has GD had a look?

I was. Up at 5 so I have blitzed downstairs ,
I couldn't do my Patio door as all their equipment is in front of it till they finish ,
But doors are done polishing and stuff like that,

Maybe next week we will sand the skirtings down and paint but had enough for this week.

I'm sitting having a cup of tea before they arrive this morning,
It will only be a half day today till the other tiles come tomorrow.

Sitting watching Telly last night and DD turned up with two McFlurry ice creams from McDonalds ,
She thought we might like a treat 😁

I appear to be allowed to post today, fingers crossed. No plans today, not sure if my cleaner is coming.

Oma, Now don’t make yourself poorly, sounds like quite a job. Well done DD for bringing you a treat.

Gemini, pleased you were able to have some time with friends. I wonder when little E will object to be called little.

I will try to pop in later if it lets me

Plant, he's 3, will be 4 in July and would probably object to being called Little if he knew, as he's a Big Boy

                Good Thursday morning, everyone.

Nanto, I hope your car passes with flying colours. I'm sure your DS1 wants to get on with his fencing, but it's good that his work is busy when there are so many businesses struggling these days.

Plant, I'm really puzzled as to why you can't always get on to GRU. There must be a reason, but it's a bit of a mystery. I hope it's ok today. Do you have to log on with your username and password every time, or do you leave it logged in? I'm pleased to see y our post this morning, though. Did your cleaner turn up?

Oma, you must be pleased the flooring is nearly finished. Are you pleased with it? Take you time over painting skirting boards, etc. You've had enough upheaval for now. Your DD was kind bringing you McFlurrys. I hope you enjoyed them. I had to smile - if I wake up at 5 am, I turn over and go back to sleep. I wish I had your energy to get up and start housework straight away.

Gem, I know you don't always feel like going out when there is so much happening, but it really does you good. Good company and a change of surroundings, plus a delicious meal you haven't had to cook - brilliant. I hope the gale force winds don't cause any damage. I can imagine little E would be very insulted if you called him "little", but we know he's a big boy really, it's just a convenient way of differentiating between him and his bigger cousin E. Bless him, he's such a sweetheart, and I'm sure you must love having him for a sleepover, despite the sadness of the reason for it. xx

Lizzie, I hope you're ok, and not too busy with the coffees.

It's quite breezy here, and we've had a shower of rain which wasn't forecast. OH is feeling much better, but I'm trying to persuade him not to go and work on the trailer today. I'm also trying to persuade him to go to the doctors, just for a check up, but he's resisting. I've got nothing planned for today, but if it's not fit to do any gardening I'll feel I ought to do some housework instead. I'll take Eva out for a good walk as well.

Plant, pleased you were allowed on here today.

The car passed its MOT. We had a lovely walk round Carlton village.
It was windy but we wrapped up and it stayed dry.
We had just got back for the car, when the heavens opened.

It's coming down in sheets here and pitch black,

SIL just phoned the other pack of flooring has come today so they will finish it all in the morning,
I must say I will be pleased I have had enough now , but it does look good and Lee who does all the fiddly bits is a perfectionist so it's really nicely done.

I think the same as you J needs a check up ,

Hallo everyone, Daisy, I just do the coffee on Monday and Tuesday, Mondays is regular, Tuesday just a few weeks.

It is dry here but very windy, I had my washing hung out and certainly had to keep an eye on it.

A couple from the gym came visiting this morning, the idea was for them to show me photo's of their holiday in Sri Lanka, only we got on so well, so much to talk about, as they left I told them I hadn't even seen the photo's!!! Next time I can go to their house and see the photo's! He is a photographer, had a messy split from his partner of 20 years almost 3 years ago now, he really did go through it, Laura is one of the trainers, they got to know each other and are now a very happy couple.

This afternoon the door bell rang, the lady I gave the roses to had been and got me a bunch as a thank you!!

Oma, you must be really pleased to get the flooring finished a bit earlier. Living in chaos is ok for a day or two, then it gets to you, doesn't it. Everything takes longer and you feel as though you're going round in circles. J is always reluctant to go to the doctors. I usually have to drag him along. As it happened the weather went from bad to worse, so working on the trailer was out of the question. He's had a nice relaxing day.

Nanto, that was a good day - your car passing its MOT and avoiding the rain as well. It sounds as though you and Oma have had the same weather today.

Lizzie, I wondered if there were extra coffee days because they are so busy,, but you do enough anyway, so I'm glad it's not too onerous. Those roses are beautiful. I hope they were unscented. The couple from the gym sound delightful company, and he must be very pleased to have found a lovely partner after the difficult split from his previous partner. What kind of photography does he do?

Gem, I hope you've had a good afternoon with little E, and he's enjoying the thought of his sleep over with you.

The shower we had this morning turned into constant rain and it's very windy. I took Eva out about 4 o'clock and it was like winter again. I met an ex-colleague from college walking her dog and we stopped for a chat. She's a lovely lady, but her husband is now in a nursing home, and she's finding life a bit of a struggle. She's got no family to help her, and she says she feels very alone. I feel so sad for her as she's trying to sort out her OH's complicated financial affairs. It's easy to take family for granted, isn't it, but it must be awful to have no-one.

Good morning, its still windy and cold.

Don't think there's much happening here today.

Hubby out with his pal later.

                          I'll check in again later.

Good morning, yes Daisy, life can be very complicated, especially when something happens to a partner and there are no family to help. That is one of the problems the people from the office manage to sort out for the customers.

It is very windy here this morning.

The roses are lovely, not bothering me as yet, they are the ones I always go and get for myself and never had a problem.

The young man from yesterday does a lot of business photography. Before covid hit us he had his own studio in Delft, with not being able to work at the time he had to give that up and has a studio at home which works very well.

                              Good morning ladies.

I will check in properly later, but just saying good morning!
Little E is up and busy playing, he slept quite late this morning. We are about to have breakfast.
Aqua for me this morning, school pick up for GS2 later. Not sure what time little E is being collected, but OH is here so I'm free to go my class.

                              Catch you all later

                                Morning ladies

It's nice and sunny here but still chilly,
A big change from yesterday and that torrential rain that went on for hours.

Floor should be finished today thank goodness,

Not much on , Bs new lightweight electric wheelchair being delivered,
He has a really good one but it's just so heavy to get in and out of the boot now I have a dodgy shoulder,
We can't get a hoist fitted in this car either.

Spoke to DD last night she said Storm has decided he doesn't like the sling to help him walk and has decided just to stand still and not move , she is making him though as it's for his own good.naughty boy.
