A warm Wednesday hello from the sunny south coast! We've had a slight shower. It's quite sunny now , but absolutely freezing cold.

Nanto, the snowy cottage looks pretty! I bed you're glad you haven't got to go out in the snow.

Plant, my DIL1 isn't far from you and they had sleet then snow this morning. It didn't stick though, but was just enough for their new dog to enjoy chasing snowflakes in the garden. I'm glad it's cleared for you to go to board games this afternoon.

Gem, thinking about S today, and hoping all goes well. As you say, you can't predict what reaction she may or hopefully may not have. Sending hugs. I hope DD1's pets were ok, and pleased to see you. You must be fed up with your internet problems. I hope it's fixed soon.

Lizzie, I'm glad you knee can be drained at last. How do you feel about having a knee replacement? I hope the rain's stopped by now.

OH has his annual check up with the nurse this morning. He's promised to come to dog training with me this afternoon, so I hope the surgery isn't running late.

He's just phoned - on his way home - he had to go to the surgery in the next village. I'd better get him some lunch ready so we can leave on time.

    I'll pop back later.

Daisy, it isn't the knee replacement I am not looking forward to, it is the recovery with the lipedema that will be a problem.

        Gem, hope S is ok.
Hoping your internet gets sorted soon.

This morning snow turned to rain. After the rain,we had plenty of sunshine.

Lizzie, I'm so sorry, I hope my comment about a knee replacement didn't come over as being flippant. I must admit I didn't take your lipoedema into account though, and can understand why you would have anxieties about that. Big hugs xx

Nanto, hopefully the sunshine dried up the rain for you. I bet it was still cold though.

Gem, I know from your comment on the Winter thread that you had a problem with your windscreen wiper this morning, so I hope the day improved after that. How is S this evening? I know sometimes the reaction sets in later, but hopefully all will be well this time.

After my earlier post, I rushed to get OH's lunch ready, even making a pot of tea. But it was over half an hour before he got back - it's a ten minute drive to the next village. He went to the car and found it blocked in by the van delivering drugs to the surgery, and he had to wait while all the meds were checked and ticked off before the driver could move the van. His check up went ok so hopefully that's it for another year. The nurse said his readings for breathing were better than last year.

Eva was very excited when we got to dog training. She made a huge fuss of Pam, the trainer, and every time Pam mentioned Eva's name she wanted to rush over for another cuddle! It was nice to have an afternoon out, and I didn't have to worry about being too tired driving home.

We've got an early start tomorrow with a vet's appointment. This is just because Eva needs more Propalin but as it's over 6 months since she's been seen by a vet she has to have a check up. I'm a bit cross with myself, because if I'd realised last week they could have dispensed it without seeing her!

            Good morning. Very cold again.
Just seen a weather forecast and she said some areas could have up to 25 centimeters of snow by the end of the day. Hope it's not us.

No plans for us today unless things change.

Daisy, hope the vets appointment goes well.

Good morning Nan2 and everyone else this cold morning.

              A pretty graphic Nan2

Daisy I remember that with one of our previous cats, if you missed a certain date since they last saw vet you couldn't just request the treatment. How sweet that Eva enjoyed training so much.

I hope you got to board games Plant.

Lizzie, I hope the knee treatment helps.

Little E day, golf for OH if she feels OK. She was fine when she went to bed last night. If it follows the pattern of last time it would be later today and tomorrow she feels poorly. Crossing fingers she doesn't this time.
E and I may go to the library or farm cafe with play area. Wherever we go it will be somewhere indoors we can drive to and park nearby!

              Keep warm ladies.

Its snowing again, despite none forecast. They are not going to play golf anyway it has been decided.
Little E and I will stay in if it's still snowing later.
Still no internet, OH spoke to someone with a very difficult to understand accent yesterday and it appears there was no engineer booked to come here, which had been promised. Someone is phoning back..........

                      Snowing lightly now.
Golf course is now closed due to the snow.
OH and are going to take little E to the farm shop cafe and play area. Most of it is indoors. This is the last Thursday we will have him before his op so it will be nice to do something fun for him .

                              Well MIL is home again,
Went to M&S and bought her two ready meals ,plus two cream doughnuts sweets and I made her a Ham & Pease pudding sandwich , so she had plenty for tonight and tomorrow.

Got her in firstly I took the doughnuts out of the bag,
She turned her nose up, so I said I will take them home B can have them.
No no I will eat one.
Then B showed her the meals,
                              I don't like those they are shite🙄

B didn't argue he just said we'll eat them or bin them it's your choice ,you have nothing out of the freezer.
She was ok about the sandwich.

We are taking her shopping on Saturday that's a joy to look forward too.

Oh Oma, she is so rude. If not for the fact that she's always been like that I would say it was a sign of dementia.

So busy here. We got back from the cafe where we had lunch and little E had a good play. A friend texted then popped round for a cuppa. Little E was very taken with her for some reason and took her upstairs to 'look around my bed ' 😁🤣

Not long after she left the little girl next door and her mummy arrived unexpectedly. Once they left it was a rush to get little E's tea and bath done for him to go home.
My turn to cook so I'm doing that now.
OH felt a bit achy earlier and took some paracetamol and had a rest on the bed but feeling ok now.
