Oma, Poor James, very painful cracked ribs. I think you are wise not to contact your Mil, she will be full of moans. I think she is the most ungrateful person I have heard of.

Christening my 2 year old grandson on Sunday. I wasn’t going to go but GD1 has persuaded me to go, she will take me and drop me close to the church. This is my eldest Grandson’s youngest of 3 children, they are the family who back onto Wee Granny. My physio GS is going to be a Godfather. It is going to be in a small church on the Benjamin Disraeli (sp) estate.

Daisy, Very pleased your family had a successful craft fare, very encouraging for them. Your Gd takes after her mother. Pleased to hear you felt up to going.

Oma, poor James. He must be in a lot of pain, and as you say he should have got the step ladders out or waited for your SIL to put the photo up. But, we all think we can do something, until we find we can't. I don't blame you for needing a rest from MIL's unreasonable demands, but I hope she's ok.

Gem, thank goodness your internet is working again, even if it's not fixed properly yet. Are you ready for y our busy day tomorrow?

Plant, I'm glad your GD1 persuaded you to go to your GGS's Christening. I think famly occasions are to be celebrated by as many family members as possible.

We went for the last hour of the craft fair. It was organised by the local Lions Club and was well-attended - both stalls and customers. GD1 did quite well with her crochet wares, but the real success of the day was GD2's Christmas cards. She almost sold out and was delighted they were so popular. We stayed to the end and gave them a lift back to where DIL had parked their car, then came home. I think we're both ready for a lazy evening!

Have a lovely day at the Christening and seeing all your family,
Wrap up warm those churches can be cold ,
Fin was christened in the November, we couldn't wait to get into the warmth.

              Daisy
What a boost to the girls confidence almost selling out,
Talented girls and nice they have a hobby other than the iPads etc.
I hope you had that lazy evening.

We are going to The Range this morning, the big one is near MIL so we will pop in ,
B bought her a new finger monitor for her oxygen levels so we will take that.

I'm looking for a new Christmas tree,
We have a Balsam Hill tree and although it's lovely it's very heavy and getting it in and out of the loft is like trying to move a dead body ,
It's getting too much for us now.
Hopefully we will find a new lighter one today.

                Good morning everyone.

Nan2 I have just heard about that attack So awful.

Another child care day today. This time at DD2's house. DD is in Prague for work and SIL and his band have a gig. He asked us to look after GS2, and to a lesser degree GD today. We need to be there by 1 and he hopes to be back by 9. A long day!
DD1 also asked if we could look after GS1 as she is meeting friends for an early evening meal.
She passes by where we will be, so will drop GS off with us and can pick him up from ours later. Never simple around here
The boys will enjoy being together though.

                Nice fine morning with sunshine.

                    Good Sunday morning, everyone.

Nanto, a relaxing Sunday sounds ideal. I like the idea of a favourite cafe.

Gem, your Gruffalo is very cute. I hope he enjoyed Hallowe'en. It's going to be a busy day for you, but hopefully the cousins will entertain each other, and hopefully you will have some time to spend with GD.

Plant, it looks a nice day for the Christening. I hope it all goes well.

Oma, yes, the girls are talented like their Mum. I hope you visit to MIL goes peacefully and smoothly.

I'd like a new Christmas tree, I'd even have one ready decorated so you only have to put it up and it's done. OH isn't so keen.

No plans for us today, except portion up some dog food. What exciting lives we live.

Plant, hope the christening goes well.
Its felt a bit warmer here today,or because i'v been busy i haven't felt the cold.

Daisy, the girls did well at the craft fair.

I did a roast pork dinner,so i made extra roast potatoes for the freezer.
Also made a big bag of chips for the freezer.
Did the drawers in the outside freezer.
                      Then, the usual houseworky stuff.

Went to MILs this morning, she had mucked the TV up again , god knows what she does with it ,
We then went for batteries for her and get some milk,
Made her bed washed the dishes and cleaned her toaster out.

We then went to the Range but they didn't have any trees we liked so we will go up to B&Q tomorrow for a look at them in there.
Came home and did a pile of ironing ,

Good morning all, Oma, I hope you find the tree you are looking for, I am debating whether or not to do anything at all in here for Christmas. Just debating, that is how I feel at the moment.

I hope all went well looking after the GC Gem.

I went to DS yesterday afternoon, he asked me to go for coffee, I was going in the car, had a look at the weather forecast, a slight shower at 4pm, how wrong they were!!!!! It was a cloud burst, never seen anything like it, I was already on the bike so couldn't do much about it, I had a "raincoat" on, but, probably for showers but not for rain like that, it did keep the rain off me but noticed the lining was damp when I hung it up, never mind, I was soaked from the knee's down. I met a family of 5 skating, they would all be soaked to the skin! DS left home the same time as I left there , in the car, he had to pick something up here in the village, he said he had never seen anything like it, it wasn't as bad here in the village, I had the worst!!

GD1 was away with her best friend all the weekend and really enjoyed it.

Nanto, your meals always seem to well planned.

I hope to get to the pool this afternoon to drink coffee with them all, IF, my knee is feeling better after the next treatment I may give it a try again next year.

Good morning. A bit of a breeze this morning.
Had some rain during the night.

No plans for us today, as yet.

There is some ironing with my name on it. I don't mind ironing though.

                              Good morning everyone.

I was envious of your roast pork dinner, Nan2, I must do one again soon!

Oma, my mum often called us out about her TV. In her case I thinks she just couldn't see the buttons well at all. We got her big remote control but by then she had lost the ability to learn anything new I think.

That sounds like some downpour Lizzie!

All went well with the childcare arrangements yesterday and the band's gig too. We got back here before 10 and DD1 collected GS1 about half an hour later.
                              Aqua morning for me.
We are going to see my Auntie G this afternoon.

                                Morning ladies,

                                Gem
It seemed to go smoothly for you last night,
How is Aunty G after her hip break,
Will you be taking her out?

                                Nanto
We had rain also, it's not too bad this morning but a little breezy like at your end.

                                Lizzie
I hope your raincoat dried quickly , you can never trust the weather forecast can you.
Don't push yourself with your knee it's not worth it.

I'm going to B&Q this morning see what trees they have,
There isn't many places to look now ,
We could look in one of the garden centres I suppose .

When I rang my sister this morning she said the two daughters who still live at home were putting the tree and decorations up .
Far too early for my liking although we did see a full display in his mother's street last week,
So they are not the first😁
