    Daisy
How nice they all are , they take care of family as well as patients,

Has the Drs prescribed anything to help the tiredness?

No we didn't get to the garden centre GS rang could he come for lunch,
So by the time he left I couldn't be bothered to go out again,
    We may go on Sunday.

Bs crown seems fine no pain or discomfort thankfully.

Oma let us know if Morrisons contact you. As you say, it could have caused terrible damage.

Daisy, how nice of the nurses.

We have had a very nice day. We swam morning and late afternoon. In between swims we had lunch at a farm shop cafe, went on a short cliff path walk and went onto the beach and sat for quite a while enjoying the sun and sea air.
The meal out tonight was good.

We have to leave at 9.30 tomorrow - after stripping beds, putting bedding and towels into a laundry bag and putting the dishwasher on. G and A did their beds and towels before they left so it won't take long.
We are meeting the Omas for lunch, calling somewhere on the way .
I may not check in until we are home tomorrow.

Gem,what a lovely last day you had. Enjoy your meet up with the Oma's.

We aren't going out today. Hubby wants to put a new concrete fence post in the front garden. DS2 is coming to give him a hand.
I'm hoping to get the grass cut.

Meat and potato pie and veg for dinner. DS2 will probably stay for dinner because his wife will be at work.

          Morning Nanto, Ladies.

A bit overcast at the moment, hopefully it won't rain.

          Nanto
B was talking to his brother last night about putting a new post in at MILs garden,
They need to get it done before the bad weather sets in.

          Gem
          See you soon 😁😍

            Good Saturday morning, everyone.

Nanto, what nice cheerful flowers and a butterfly to greet the week-end. Fences always seem to need a lot of maintenance don't they. We have put concrete spurs into most of our fencing now so it's much easier to change the wooden posts or panels. Meat and potato pie sounds very tasty.

Oma and Gem, enjoy your meet up later today. Give each other a hug from me! xx.

Oma, yes, the doctor gave me an injection to hopefully boost my haemoglobin to help with the tiredness. I can have another one in two weeks, which I can do at home - I'm told it will be delivered to me and has to be signed for! Pleased to hear B's crown is good.

Today is DS2 and DIL2's 20th wedding anniversary. How on earth did that happen so quickly! They don't generally do much to celebrate but they will be here tomorrow with the rest of the family so we've planned a little surprise for them. We've got a few things to do today to get ready for tomorrow, so I'd better get on. I'll try and pop back later, but we're out tonight for a surprise for OH's birthday yesterday.

Hallo everyone, Daisy, just done a Google search over thatched roofs. We do have a lot here.

"Thatch is popular in the United Kingdom, Germany, the Netherlands, Denmark, parts of France, Sicily, Belgium and Ireland. There are more than 60,000 thatched roofs in the United Kingdom and over 150,000 in the Netherlands."

              Interesting!

That was short but sweet! It is very dull here, typical Hull Fair weather as we used to say! I have seen the prices of the fair rides, they certainly are very expensive!!!

I have been to the second hand place in the next village with some plant pots and a Christmas tree that DS1 gave me! He said " you can have it mother"!! I haven't had a tree in 45 years or more. I did read that 2 of the large universities here have abolished Christmas and Easter, I expect that will be the rule world wide before much longer.

Daisy, I hope that the injections help to give you more energy.

I have been on my bike to the next village for meat from the Turkish butcher, chicken thighs and calves liver. I really should go more often, when I have space in my freezer that is.

GD1 came on Thursday evening and brought our meal with her, fresh pizza, not really my thing, I did eat it though and enjoyed having her here. She made a quark cake whilst she was here. They are busy with her bedroom, she will be 20 next week, where does time go! They have been on about it for so long, the girls will be at home for a few years yet and she still had her old bed, DS1 promised he would get it down etc, well, what they didn't know is whilst they were in New York, GD's and friends stripped the bed etc etc. They made a very neat job of it all, only when I saw the front garden on the Tuesday I thought "OMG"! GD1 said not to worry, she has her connections! She was right as well, when I took GD2 to pick her bike up it had all been cleared, GD2 told me they all helped to saw it into pieces etc!!!

I told her I was proud of them!! Luckily her parents were as well. Her (ex) boyfriend is putting a new top on her desk etc tomorrow, he has helped a lot, they are still good friends. Then it is one wall that needs wallpapering and the bed can be placed.

                      Welcome home to the Gems.

Daisy, have a lovely night out.

Lizzie, the GD's did well with the bed.

Hubby and DS2 got the new concrete post in. Took a bit of time to get the old one out,but they did it.
I got the grass cut. Don't know how many more cuts it will get this year. All depends on the weather.

                        Good morning ladies.

Daisy, hope you have a lovely day celebrating J's birthday.

No plans for us, we'll just take the day as it comes.

Lamb dinner for us. Going to cook a lamb fillet in the slow cooker.

                          Morning Nanto, Ladies.

We might go to the garden centre to see the Christmas display as we didn't get on Friday as planned.

We love to see the Christmas displays at the garden centre.
Last time we were there, they were just getting started.
We won't be going until after we have been away.

It started off quite cool this morning. Forecast is for the same as yesterday.
Turned out quite warm yesterday, so i hope they got it right.

Done a load of washing, thats out on the line now.

I was so tempted to buy more baubles but I have so many it would be silly ,
I did however buy Finley a book , we are having tea out with them next month I will give it to him then.
