Thats really sad Oma,for the young man to be so distressed.
We weren't looking for wood,the new fencing was ordered on friday.
We just needed a new concrete gravel board and a new concrete post.
Hope B feels better when he has fivished the antibiotics.

Daisy, i got my washing dry today,it was quite warm here.

Oma, how sad, that young man. I sympathise with stopping for every sniff with Storm. Eva does the same.

I managed to get a bit of gardening done, but there are plenty of weeds still waiting. It was a lovely afternoon so I took Eva for a good walk in the Forest. It was so quiet and peaceful and I didn't see any other people. Perhaps everyone had headed for the beach today.

Looking quite bright this morning.

A bit of work to do outside in preparation for the new fencing arriving tomorrow.
Hubby will be out for his Tuesday meet up first.

Trying to use up stuff from the freezer, so having previously cooked braised steak and onions with mash and veg.

Nanto it's nice and bright here also but still chilly,
We keep saying we must use up what's in the freezer before we buy any more.

Been to see to the cats and fish and water the plants that are bushy and the rain doesn't get to as such.
Feeling tired this morning for some reason , not a great night's sleep but I did get a good 5 hours ,

Nan2 we are attempting to empty the outside freezer to defrost it but havent managed it yet! I think it must keep refilling itself

Our friends G and A called in yesterday late afternoon, which was nice.
No library for me this morning as I have booked an extra massage. I managed to get a cancellation appointment between the monthly ones . Hoping to improve the hip pain and mobility. It has improved, so hopefully more so after today. I don't like to miss my library morning, but needs must.


Very sunny again but feels cool. OH is headed to golf wearing shorts. I hope it is warm enough!

Gem, our outside freezer is frost free,so no defrosting.
I changed my mind about braising steak,i took out corned beef hot pot. We had it with dumplings.

Good Tuesday afternoon, everyone.

Nanto, I could just do with a steaming cup of coffee and all those goodies. It feels quite chilly here. Frost free freezers are great, aren't they. Our upright one in the kitchen is frost-free but not the old chest freezer in the garage. I meant to defrost that last week, but didn't get round to it.

Gem, sometimes we have to give ourselves priority. I hope the extra massage makes a big difference for you. OH was brave, but if it's sunny it's probably not too bad out on the golf course.

Oma, perhaps the broken night the day before has caught up with you. I hope you're taking it easy today. Yes, Eva is lucky - I'm sure Storm would love the Forest.

I thought I had a hygienist appointment this morning, but luckily I double checked and it's next week. The Consultant rang mid morning and everything seems to be going to plan. Always good to know! I haven't done much today though - yet - except have a long chat with DS2, and relax with a good book. I might do some ironing - or I might not!

My miracle worker massage therapist has done her work. It always feels a bit bruised and sore afterwards as they get deep into the muscles, but in the end better!

It has been sunny all day so OH was fine in the shorts. I got washing dry this afternoon and did a bit of cleaning. I was going to make soup but couldn't be bothered and had beans on toast for lunch instead. I will make some tomorrow!

Quite an Autumnal day today, Sil has drained and put the pool away for this year, he then cut the grass, it has turned green again. I drove to the docs for my blood sample to check if it is okay for my jab for my bones in a fortnight. Called into a friend to pick up a crocheted blanket she has made for our new baby expected in four weeks. Not sure about the name, it is Leonard, Lenny for short.

Daisy, Good news that the doctor re-assured you that everything is going to plan. Your walk in the forest sounded lovely, I am sure Eva enjoyed it.

MIL is playing up for his younger sister but was full of herself when we rang
We will see what she is like on Thursday when we take her shopping.

Seen to cats, Buzz was angry with me when I got there, he had been out all day so gave me a right meowing when we got there, his own fault he insisted on going out this morning.😁

I then took Storm for a walk or he took me on a sniffing mission more like.

My Niece phoned , she's getting around ok but her knee is still stiff
She's managed to reduce the pain killers so that's a bonus.
Once this knee heals they will do the other one, then her other hip.

Had visitors again today. Nephew called this morning,but only stayed for ½ an hour.
Bro in law came for a couple of hours, then sis in law and hubby came and stayed till just after 6.

A busy morning for us. New fencing coming, well I'm assuming it will come this morning. Someone coming from the energy company between 8 and 12 to upgrade the smart meters.
Not expecting anyone else.

Dinner is baby potatoes, breaded chicken, veg and gravy.

Oma, your niece was home quickly after her operation, here they have to be able to climb stairs before being allowed home, then with the physio home visits until they are walking etc.

Gem, I hope that you feel better after the message.

I went to aqua on Monday, it was the first lesson after the holidays.

I am getting a few things sorted to take with me next week, I had to phone P&O again yesterday, the website still hasn't been updated! They are very friendly on the phone, well, when you do get to talk to someone, She mailed me all the details I need and said the site could be working right again this week.

I was at DS1 on Sunday, they told me all about their holiday and showed me all they had bought!! GD1 walked here on Monday evening, she was going to get the metro home and messaged me when she arrived home.

I will make a start, circuit training later this morning then more sorting things out!

I hope all goes smoothly with the fence installation Nan2.

Hopefully your niece will feel more comfortable as days go by. I had to ask my GP for a couple of weeks more Codamol once the few days worth I left hospital with had gone.

Lizzie we have to be able to climb stairs too before going home after a knee replacement. I was in two nights , which I was glad of, but some do go home after one . No home visits but you do your exercises at home and go in for physio a few times.
