    Morning ladies
    Nanto
I had bacon and tinned tomatoes for tea last night but the bacon was so salty it stung my still tender tongue,
    I enjoyed it though😁

    Daisy
I'm sure the dogs don't give a fig that their humans are shivering with cold 😁
You never know it might be nice and warm now the roof is fixed.

    Gem
    Enjoy Aqua and lunch ,
How are the terrible twosomes today , I bet they are back to their playful selves πŸ˜‰

    Lizzie
You learn by your mistakes don't you , these products cost more to send back so not worth the hassle,
We have had stuff and B has asked for a returns form and been told to keep the item and been given a full refund as it's the same for them not worth the paperwork.

    Plant
    How are you today?
Wearing odd socks is the done thing for the young ones so you will be very trendy 😁

I didn't sleep well kept waking all night and very unsettled,
B actually didn't have a bad night for a change , he slept a good 5 hours and that's a lot for him but I think he was exhausted,

It's raining again and cold , we don't seem to have had any light for days , isn't it depressing.

I have a new iron coming today,
I have had my big tank pressure iron for 20 years I love it but it's getting past it's best and it has to be descaled manually, it's a pain to do , so yesterday when we were out we called into Currys,
I saw a really good one but it was Β£499 a lot of money for a iron, no way was I paying that .
We came home and B went on the Tefal site, direct from the manufacturer it was reduced to Β£249
Half price so B ordered it .
If it lasts as long as my old one It will be worth it , plus it's self descaled.

I will keep my old one in the loft for emergencies, I love it too much to throw away πŸ˜€

Oma, Enjoy your new iron, mine hasn’t seen light for ages, I am a crumpled old lady. I hope B is feeling better soon.

Daisy, you and Eva will be pleased to get back to her classes. I hope there is some improvement in your OH.

Gemini, Have a lovely relaxing Aqua class and lunch with friend after. Have any decisions been made about your GS?

Board games for me this afternoon, it is getting very popular now. We have amazing managers of the Village Hall now. We have constant coffee and tea served, small bowls of sweets on the tables and wrapped chocolate biscuits half way. The hall could be a bit warmer so we wrap up.

Oma, no cost to return to Ali, the problem is, they don't arrive!

To be quite honest, I haven't had problems before and used Ali for years!

Oma, which Tefal model is it? I used to have one but hardly use an iron nowadays, just had a look on the site and they seem to be much cheaper here.

It's a Tefal Pro express vision GV9820 anti scale. Steam generator
B got a good deal with it plus he could use his forces discount card πŸ˜€

Oma, i had a steam generator for years, until last year.
It finally gave up the ghost last year. I went back to an ordinary iron.

Plant, hope you enjoy the games afternoon.
Gem hope you are having/had a nice meal out with friends.

Had a bit of a busy morning getting bathroom cleaned, and other jobs done.
I had an hour spare before dinner,so i made some colcannon mash.
It could have done with a bit more cabbage. Just used what i had in the freezer.
Not going to lose sleep over it.
Some in the fridge for tomorrow, the rest has been portioned up and put to freeze.

I love my old one , I hope this one is as good but time will tell.
                    I like Colcannon mash ,
I have mash with sweetcorn once in a restaurant ,I'm not sure if it has a name but it was very tasty .

We have had a roast dinner for tea ,
We had some sliced beef in the freezer and veg , even had some homemade made Yorkshire pudding in , so B got it all out and made a dinner,
It's a few weeks since we had a proper meal, we enjoyed it.

Nan2, I'm another colcannon mash fan.

That meal would do you both good Oma.

Plant, your village hall set up sounds lovely.

Did Eva enjoy doggie class Daisy?

Wednesday is our very energetic aqua class, so a good day for lunch out
I had a lovely afternoon with my school friends, always good to catch up. They seemed keen to get another date in the diary, so we are meeting again next month.

Oma, glad you had a decent meal and enjoyed it.

Gem, Oma, i've never made it before, always bought it ready made.

Colcannon mash sounds tasty. I've had it a couple of times but never made it myself. Nanto, I suppose you could always add extra cabbage to the frozen portions when you reheat them.

Gem, what a lovely time you had with your friends and after your energetic Aqua class I bet you were hungry. It will be good to meet up with them again soon.

Oma, wow, there's a whole world of clever irons out there I've never heard about. I like a really small, light-weight iron, so I usually end up with a basic cheap one. The one I have at the moment is just right - or it was until OH ironed cardboard with it and spoilt the sole-plate. Now it doesn't glide smoothly so I'll have to get another one. It's funny, when you don't feel well you don't want proper meals but there comes a point where a good "proper" meal goes down a treat.

Plant, I hope you enjoyed your games afternoon. Your village hall certainly do you proud.

Dog training was fun this afternoon. It was like the first day of term at school (the hall's been closed since before Christmas). The dogs were all excited and doolally, and I bet they've all slept this evening - Eva certainly has.

Good morning, hope everyone is feeling good.

Daisy, glad you all enjoyed dog training.

Hubby expecting 2 solar lights coming today. One is for the back porch, not sure where he's planning on putting the other one.
We've already got a light in there, but he saw the solar ones and eBay and liked them. So, when they come he'll charge them up and probably put them up today.

Dinner is some of the colcannon mash I made yesterday, also going to use some chicken, leek and mushroom pie filling i had left after making some pies last week.

                              Doggie class sounded fun Daisy

Little E day today. No other plans, we may possibly go to the library. I'm looking forward to this summer/late spring when we can get out and do more on Thursdays!

                              Happy Thursday everyone.
