      Morning Nanto / ladies.

      Gem
The play sounds good it got good reviews,
Ouch painful sting wasp stings , hope it’s ok did you take any antihistamines?

sounds like you had a lovely night 😁

      Nanto
      Its raining here also ,
It seemed extra dark this morning doesn’t it or is that just our end.

      Daisy
That poor girl as if she hasn’t had enough heartache , my condolences to all the family xx

      Enfys
Your confidence has taken a bashing so no shame in needing your DD to go anywhere with you for a while.
Being home all day when you are not used to it can be frustrating but don’t go pushing to hard till your better.

      Plant
Did you find a place for GS to sleep 😁
I bet H is loving all the attention,
      How are you today?

Back is killing today but we are meeting our friends and DD etc for breakfast this morning.
We are going to MILs after lunch, I made her a trifle last night, she loves a home made trifle

I have just taken two pain killers, do the makers put the tin foil backing on with super glue?
I had to in the end poke the foil with the end of a sharp knife to get them out ,

I know I’m not as strong as I was but these are ridiculous to open.
Im not fat just 6ft too small

Good Sunday morning, everyone. It's raining here putting paid to our gardening plans until it stops.

Nanto, thank you for the lovely 'good morning' graphic. It's a nice, cheery start to the day.

Oma, I feel for you with your back hurting. Mine has been niggling for a few days and it wears you out. I agree about the foil packets. What are the manufacturers trying to achieve! Enjoy your breakfast with everyone. MIL will enjoy that trifle.

Enfys, how are you today? I think we're all inclined to rush 'getting better' when we should really be taking our time and listening to how we feel. Take care. xx

Plant, most children are very social beings, so no wonder H loves being with her large extended family. I do think your DD is amazing - she seems to cope with all the family comings and goings, and I know you help as and where you can.

Gem, what a lovely day you had - a play and some sea air, and a takeaway. I liked the sound of the play - AA is brilliant. Days like that do you the world of good, especially the sea air. And your washing dried! (Ours did as well.)

Thank you all so much for your kind condolences, which I'll pass on to DIL1 next time we talk. I had a long chat with her last night. As you can imagine, she's feeling in shock and rather 'battered' by yet another loss so close to her. I'll write more in YEO.

          Good morning all.

Dull here with rain forecast, but sun again tomorrow, so they say!

          I like the graphic Nan2

Oma I took an antihistamine tablet and used the cream for the sting. I always react quite badly to bites and stings and it kept me awake half the night. Its more itchy than painful this morning though so that's progress!
I hope your back eases soon. I have had to do the same with some of the foil tablet strips.

Thinking of Daisy's DIL and family this morning.

Gem, our posts crossed. It sounds as though you do have a bad reaction to stings, and it's no fun having a sleepless night because of it. I hope it's ok today.

Slept quite late so only just had breakfast. I made the mistake of not taking enough painkillers yesterday and found it difficult to get into bed last evening.

Daisy, your poor Dil, very sad loosing her father. Shame the weather isn’t good enough to get on with planting the memory garden.

Oma, I hope you find your Mil in a cheerful mood, she will enjoy her trifle. GS2 and his wife stayed with her parents last evening and she has to go back to London today, GS2 is staying here tonight, goodness knows where he will sleep before returning to London tomorrow. He is such a kind young man, he read all my notes from medics but was unable to do much for me.

Gemini, I hope that wasp sting is less painful today, nasty creatures. My DD and Sil are amazing as you say,

Good morning, it feels cooler here this morning, still sunny though.

I have been to the gym as my poor knee's were stiffening up!

Gem, I am allergic to all bites my sister was as well, she ended up in the hospital in Hong Kong once because of bites. I am pleased that you both enjoyed the play, was it outdoor!

Plant, I do hope your pain soon eases, don't overdo the painkillers though.

Oma, your poor back, I hope that you manage to enjoy the lunch though.

I am going to get some sewing done, it is darker in that room because of the lift, I do have a good lamp though so that will help.

Well morning breakfast was short of two ,
Our SILs parents couldn’t make it , late last night James wasn’t feeling well had a headache and pain in his arm that felt strange so as the local hospital is just a short walk away he went there ,
Turned out he had had a mini stroke but didn’t have the usual symptoms.

He's at home with meds but can’t drive for 4 weeks till he has further tests .

We then went to MILs she was in a ok mood a bit grumpy as she thought we were going this morning in spite of me telling her on Thursday and yesterday it would be after lunch.

Insisted I re made her bed as the carer had made it this morning and it wasn’t to her liking.
To be fair it wasn’t done right just the duvet pulled over and the pillows were at the bottom of the bed.

Then she wanted B to unlock the back gate as the gardener is going tomorrow and unlock the shed but wanted the key left in the lock.
Couldnt understand that wasn’t wise as it would show anyone who was prowling around that it was unlocked.

She then said I’m not allowed to put the house alarm on at night ,
I asked why ? and she said she didn’t know so I said who told you you couldn’t she said she doesn’t know.

I rang his sister she was just as puzzled , we have no idea why she thinks that.

She was happy with the trifle and had the liver casserole B had made out defrosting ready for tea.

The rain eased off long enough for us to start gardening, but then started again when we had dug holes etc so we carried on and got wet! We did about 4 hours, and I am absolutely shattered. I've just taken Eva round the block and got wet again.

I'm going to make a quick meal and have an early night. Chat tomorrow! xx

Just catching up and found your sad news Daisy. Such a shock for you all.Condolences to everyone.

So sorry that quite a few ladies are in pain or under thr weather and hope better times are not too far ahead.

Lizzie I agree about the darker morning. I thought it was about half past five and it was seven o’clock this morning.

Lizzie, 2 of my DDs are really sensitive to bites and stings as well. It's still driving me mad.

Get a good night's rest Daisy xxx

Oma I'm sorry to hear about your DD's FIL. Hopefully the meds will prevent any more.
It sounds as though MIL is getting back to her usual self.

The rain had really set in here. Luckily OH got the hedge trimmed and we got the white washing almost dried

We had a video call with DD and GS3 as he had been asking for us every day.

Tesco delivery is due, so hopefully it will arrive soon so we can get it put away.

** It did arrive whilst I was typing so it's all away now!

Such a sad time for your DiL, Daisy. Sending my love to you all.

Went to watch GS play football earlier today. Felt like a proper old lady with my walking stick and DD insisted on bringing a fold up chair! I had a slow walk round the outside of the field and as it was getting really cold, went and sat in the car and watched the rest of the match from there! I was glad that I'd taken a painkiller before I went though! Have spent most of the afternoon lying on the couch in front of the fire!

What started as drizzle has now turned into proper rain and it looks really miserable out there now.

Plant, I was impressed by how much work your GS1 had done the other day......then you said his Dad had been helping him! The work isn't bothering me!

Got an appointment with the physio tomorrow afternoon. I'm hoping she can help me manage the pain either through massage, acupuncture or exercise! I hate not being able to do things and can't even get enthused about knitting poppies for our next post box topper for Remembrance Day.

Hope all poorly ladies soon feel better. Have a lovely evening whatever you're up to! x

After the early morning rain, the sun came out. Started raining at 5pm, and has just stopped.

Hope you all get a good nights rest.

Oma, sorry to hear about DD's father in law. Hope he makes a speedy recovery.

                              Good morning. I don't think it's raining.

WG, hope the physio can help with the path.

Not much happening today for us.

I've got some beefburgers to use, so I'll do a couple with chips and peas.
That will leave 2 burgers for another day. I don't think I'll bother buying anymore.

                                Good morning!

Not raining here either Nan2, although it has during the night.

WG, I'm glad you were able to go to your GS's football match. My DD bought me a small folding stool for queuing when we were in Florida, the year before my knee op!

Aqua this morning, then I am meeting a friend, one of my ex work colleagues, for coffee this afternoon.
