Off to hospital at 10am some appt. Dr. Made some ago. I wanted to cancel it but DD persuaded me to keep it but the last thing I want is fighting to find a parking place, a long walk and sitting on hard chairs in a waiting room. It is the last appt. Of three, one heart, one breathing so goodness knows what this one is for. Of course she is taking me. Pop back later.

Been to Morrisons ,

I have appointment to have my BP checked at 11.40 ,
I called in the Drs with my sharps box to be disposed of and asked while I was there,
I was shocked when she said today, I expected to wait a while,
Even managed to make B an appointment to see the Dr in two weeks.
Must have caught it right.

Good morning. Hope your appointment goes well Plant. I understand how you feel, all the hassle of getting there and waiting around but hopefully will be your last one . My DD always takes me too, the parking at our hospital is horrendous. If I had to go on my own I think I’d go on the bus, while we still have our bus passes!

packing done and DD has taken my car over to her house. We take two cars so I go with her in mine, she drives, with the dog and SIL takes his car with GS and his girlfriend, So we can pile things in with no worries.

We went down to the village to buy cards and a few groceries. Still dull here but dry at least.

Hope Plant's hospital appointment went well and she discovered what she was there for!

Packing almost done, just the last few bits to put in then I'm heading off to Gatwick! 6.40am ( does that time actually exist?) flight tomorrow, so am staying overnight. Hopefully this will take my mind off what's happening when I come back home ! All checked in on-line, seat chosen, so just need to drop my case off.

I had call from hospital telling me that I'm not hydrated enough and this might not help my recovery, so please drink more! I have, but the only problem is the increase in needing to spend a penny!! However. I shall do as I'm told, though I'm a bit disappointed that G&T is not recommended!!

Gemini, GS3 loves to come to your house, he can see his cousins. He sounds so grown up now.
Good job DD came with me to the hospital, I couldn’t understand most of what the doctor was saying. Her speciality is balancing all the drugs people take for their medical problems. Obviously my Osteoperosis is a problem and they have to be careful not to cause other imbalance's prescribing too much of one drug. So it is a case of stopping one and replacing it with another. GD has arrived with H. GD is going to do some cleaning so I had better get out of her way

BP was spot on but appointment made for a telephone call from my Dr in two weeks as he may want to change my meds .

Today turned out to be busy.
Spent quite a bit of time in the garden. Hubby wanted to get the tubs planted up with spring bulbs,before we go away.

Oma,glad BP was ok. Hope MIL is still doing well.

This morning we are going to Filey ( on the coast) to see a kite flying festival. OH fancies it. Hoping will be better than the very disappointing hot air balloon festival we went to see last autumn!
This evening is another of those group meals out for a friend's birthday. One more birthday to celebrate in October then no more birthday meals out for many months.

Morning everyone
A busy morning so far
Did a bit of housework downstairs , I gave upstairs a good clean yesterday afternoon.
Two loads of washing done then I stripped both beds one lot in wash other lot waiting .
We then went to Asda.
From their up to B& Q

Having the downstairs loo redone so needed a new vanity unit and basin in grey to match the wall cupboard and flooring .
The one we have in is white and has gone off colour .
Having the boxing in around the pipes redone , SIL doing that I think this week sometime but I’m in no rush it will all get done eventually.

Its that awful fine misty drizzle and very dark.

Welcome home Daisy and WG & Enfys have great holidays.

We used to have great kite festivals every year then Nissan bought the land they used so they stopped.
Was very popular , dozens of stalls live music etc such a shame

MIL was ok last night , she’s now saying once she’s home if she doesn’t feel safe or can’t manage she will go into a home.
Always been against the idea but I think she’s afraid of being on her own now.

A disastrous start to our holiday. Yesterday evening I took a nasty fall face first onto the tiled floor in the kitchen which ended up with 6 hours in Barnstaple A & E, head scan. Exray, blood tests and ecg. The result is I have a fractured cheek bone, a nasty gash over my eye and very painful wrist and hip. My cheek is the size of a melon and I’m sporting a very fetching black eye. Not a pretty sight! Luckily the head scan showed no brain injury or bleed so I’m grateful for that. I look and feel terrible so am still in bed and DD is feeding me tea and toast. I feel very foolish that a simple missed step resulted in this. Hopefully, things will improve.

Plant, I hope you can get your meds sorted out satisfactorily. I am having unpleasant side effects from the blood thinner I take for atrial fibrillation which isn’t helping how I’m feeling at the moment.
