Good morning, showers are forecast all day, plus thunder etc, I was going to the market in Delft but won't bother, it could easily be cancelled because of the forecast.

I have Spotify on to help me clean the windows and get the curtains washed! A full days work.

We had so much rain yesterday afternoon, I went to do coffee, I just go in and the heavens opened! The first 2 customers didn't show up at the office either. I was away this week last year, it was lovely, warm and sunny.

I have been to the gym, they will get me a circuit in for 2 days a week for my legs to help my knees, the fysio's and the insurance believe building muscles up is far better than a new knee, I must say I do agree, 15 years ago, this month actually, I had an appointment for a new knee, my fysio said at the time, because of my lipedema, we would try it with exercise , it worked as well. I do feel my knee now and again, nothing much at all.

I will get my windows done.

We have been out for a pub meal with sis in law and her hubby.

Lizzie, exercise to strengthen leg muscles, particularly the quads is recommended before and after knee surgery, and as you say can often delay or even prevent it.

Oma, cream cakes were most often on the list of things I took my mum when visiting!

We had a really good swim today. Right round to the other side of the hotel, round the bay. OH went one way then walked back. I swam back to the start, so I've had my workout today

Sadly home tomorrow. We are being picked up between 8.30am and 9. I can't remember what time the flight is, but I think we should be home 4 or 5ish, delays permitting. Having missed a Tesco delivery due to delayed homeward flight last time , I have booked it for Saturday morning this time

Good morning. It's bright but chilly.

We've had a power cut during the night.

No plans for today apart from hubby being out for a couple of hours this morning.

Dinner is jacket potatoes with tuna mayo and cheese.

Dog day today , cold days like this suit him the best , he is laying in the garden he most likely will be there all day.

Got to keep watching him though as he was stung on his pay paw last week and he has licked it raw and all the fur off.
Hes been to the vet and they put a boot on but he takes it of as soon as it goes on ,
Tried a sock same thing shakes it off DD tried bandage tape to keep it on he bit through that. So it’s a case of watching and telling off if he nibbles .

Good morning, dry here at the moment, we are going by car to the service.

Oma, I got all the windows done indoors, plus the curtain and the kitchen blind washed, that was one #### of a job to get back on again, I managed, I won't tell you how many times I was up and down the steps! I was just finished when DS1 called in for coffee, then DS2 phoned, they are going to Crete on Tuesday for 10 days.

I didn't go to the gym this morning, got enough exercise yesterday, I have been to do the coffee for the art group, I did the plants on Wednesday so didn't have to do them.

Gem, that would be a good swim.

Nice and sunny here atm, hope it lasts, eldest GS and his wife plus T are away to a wedding so their two eldest are here until Sun.

I feel very sleepy today, not sure why. A grocery delivery from Waitrose is due so I wil pop back later

hallo everyone, I have just got home from the funeral service, it was a perfect location and really suited how my friend was. It was very busy as they were both from large families, there were snacks and drinks after the service. The 2 grandchildren were there from Norway, they helped carry the coffin out. that brought the tears to everyone's eyes.

Hello everyone.

Sorry for the late check in but I didn't have time before we left the hotel and then couldn't connect to the airport wif!
Anyway, we are home now and the sun is shining We collected my car from the garage on the way back and they have reported there have been no more leaks, so that's good.
We will be having fish and chips for tea, return to healthy eating will have to wait

I missed a call from Daisy yesterday, I think it was because I was still in Majorca. I didn't hear it ring then couldn't access the Voicemail. She left a voicemail which I played when I got in just now. They are fine, apart from rain and associated problems, which I'm sure she will fill us in on next week! She has no phone or internet at all but wanted us to know they are fine and enjoying themselves despite the rain. I am hoping it's better today.

Plant I agree an increase in painkillers may make you feel sleepy, and sometimes we just have a tired day, I know I do.
