I was very pleased with the visit to the doctor, she appreciated GS’s in-put. I am to make an appt for an X-ray at the local hospital and she has upped the pain killer dose. .

We went to aqua yesterday, our instructor is on holiday and we had one of the other young men, we have had him before, he did tell me one where he was from, someone said Cuba, not important anyway, we had a good lesson then the last 5 minutes we (he) were doing dance moves, he can certainly get some moves with those hips!!! We all enjoyed it.

I went to do coffee last night for a meeting, it is an old building and awful stairs, I don't like walking them with trays etc so I took a basket and used that, the lady in charge said "oh, what a good idea". They had been told not to let me walk the stairs with a tray in my hand! We don't usually use the top floor, only for meetings.

I received a card yesterday, officially the notice of my friends death. The service and celebration of her life are on Friday afternoon.

Ive taken my long waterproof coat out of the wardrobe to wear.

Will have to go visit MIL tonight, it’s Martins turn but they all have a sickness bug and they are off to Florida on Friday so need to get over it and don’t want to take germ into MIL.

Hallo everyone, Oma, happy birthday for your GS1.xxx. Love the gadget.

It is getting dull here and could rain, pleased to say, much cooler.

I have been to see my friends family, had to take a few deep breaths on my way there. Both the sons have been there since Wednesday, the grandchildren and DIL flew back to Norway on Sunday evening, they will return on Thursday as the service is on Friday, I must say in a beautiful location, an old church and grounds, there will be a short service then a celebration of her life before having the cremation in private.
I was reading the history of the church etc, it has been a restaurant, concert hall etc since 2007. A similar story to the water tower DS1 stayed in when they were in Groningen.

I am going to the fysio soon to see what (extra) exercises they have decided on for my knees.
