We have been to tend to the cats then onto Lidl,
When we were coming out there was a couple maybe in their late 40s in front of us and in front of them as we were going over the crossing a young 20 something.
This young girl had the tightest grey cycling shorts on , you know the type that go up the crack of your bum and leave nothing to the imagination.

Now I must say she did have a very nice shapely bottom .
The man in front turned back and said to B ,
“ I don’t know where to put my eyes 😱
His wife went into fits of giggles and said don’t look , he said I can’t help it unless I walk backwards 🤣🤣🤣

We we’re all looking now and she was blissfully unawares of the problems she was causing
Oh to be young and as shapely as that even if it did make temperatures rise 😂

Im not fat just 6ft too small

I see those girls at the gym Oma, they have special exercises with weights etc to get a bottom like that! Then the camel toe to go with it!!!

I know, mind boggling at times Oma and Lizzie!!

I have now been invited to DD2's for a meal, so I will leave the salmon I intended to have in the freezer

We will eat around 6 and I will go over at 4ish. Now I must move from the sofa and actually do something!

A new month and a new chat place! As one of my Yr2s used to say : A pinch and a punch for the first of the month! She continued to do it to me until she left Primary school!

A lovely sunny day but I think the forecast is for cloudy conditions later, hopefully no rain! Not sure what my plans are for the rest of the day. I could go and pick up my script, I could go for a walk, I could make banana bread or I cold sit in the garden with my new book. Decisions, decisions!

I'm waiting for my SiL to come and give me some advice about my shower room radiator. It's an electric on and I managed to take it off the wall when I was painting ( thanks to U tube!) but when I tried to put it back, one of the supports came away from the wall. Looking at it, I don't think that screw should have been used. I'll wait and see what SiL says before I decide what to do about it. I was really pleased with how everything was going too and the shower room looks so much brighter now.

Daisy, I haven't forgotten about the name of the paper! Will let you know later!

Hope everyone has a good day xx

p.s. After my appointment with the consultant last Thursday, I've been told I need a total hip replacement! Witing for his secretary to come back to me with dates! It'll be after my holiday at the end of this month!

Funny old day today weather wise. Pouring with rain earlier and now lovely sunshine. I had plans to paint the shed with wood preservative this morning but the weather out paid to that. So I’ve done some more sorting out and knitting. Heard from DS and he’s enjoying Fathers Day in Australia, looking forward to their summer.

nothing much happening here, but I have a busy week - doctors, opticians and car mot and service! Then I can look for to our little trip to Devon I. 3 weeks. Have a good day everyone 🌞

Gem, i hope you get someone to take over at the meetings before too long.
              Enjoy your meal at DD's.

Oma, we see sights like that whenever we are out. Pleases the men folk.
He didn't come back with anymore files, but he brought me a a new oven glove.
I like those that are in one piece, with a pocket at each end.
Its a lovely bright cheery one, brand new in the sealed packet.
He only paid a pound for it.

WG, sorry to hear you need a total hip replacement.

Lizzie, you are so good with the sewing. Lucky grandaughters.

              Daisy, love the cheery graphic.

Mixed weather here too Enfys, Its getting dark to early now too!

Gosh that will be good service if you get your op so soon WG, if it's NHS!

I had a lovely time with DD, SIL and the children. Nice meal, chat and a hilarious drawing game.

I have just got in and when I switched on the kitchen light an enormous moth flew around Luckily I had already poured a glass of water before I saw it, so I quickly retreated with that and switched off the light. I really am afraid of them and I am home alone tonight.
I think there is pack of 2 biscuits upstairs so that will be my snack if I am hungry later. Being Sunday I can't even go to the shop! It should be asleep when I get up in the morning.

Oma, and to think in our day we thought hot pants were daring! That sounds a long way from shorts as we know them! I hope the young lady is loving being young and able to wear whatever she wants.

WeeGranny, oh dear, did you expect that news about needing a new hip? Still it sounds as though they are going to get on with it quickly and the sooner it's done the sooner you will be free of pain. I hope y our SIL sorted out your bathroom radiator - yesterday morning I was wishing our bathroom radiator was on. What colour did you paint the bathroom?

Gem, your quiet day turned out to be not so quiet, but it sounds lots of fun, and you didn't even have to cook a meal. Moths are strange, aren't they. They seem to fly straight at you. As you say, your giant visitor will be asleep in the morning. It sounds as though you could do with a bit more support from other Friends of the Library. I know you enjoy it and have worked hard to save the library for your village, but there must be a couple of people who could take more responsibility. Also it's hard charing and taking minutes at the same time. I always found it hard and I do shorthand, so can take notes quickly. Sleep well.

Enfys, we had literally a few drops of rain late this afternoon. Otherwise it's been warm, a bit muggy but quite sunny at times. By the end of the coming week everything will be in perfect working order with all those appointments. I hope everything goes well for you.

Nanto, I think those oven gloves are good too, I always seem to burn my arms with the separate gloves. Pleased you like the graphic, as I really appreciate my Granny friends.

I seem to have been busy today, but not sure what I've done. I took all the crockery, pots and pans etc out of the caravan and hand washed some and put the rest through the dishwasher. I pinned another t-shirt to take up the hemline a bit, portioned up some dog food and cleaned the hallway. I've also started several small watercolours that I hope to complete on holiday. If they work out ok I'll put photos up.

Must just go and prep a curry for tomorrow night now.

Good morning. A bit of fog/mist this morning.

We didn't get the gardening done yesterday, hubby did another job, one of the garage doors wasn't closing properly. He ended up having to grind a bit of drive. Glad it wasn't an electrical problem.
If the weather improves we might be able to do the garden this afternoon.

Dinner is jacket potatoes with beans and cheese.

                    Plant, how are you today?

                      Morning Nanto/ everyone.
Thick fog to start the day here , it’s starting to lift.
Been to see to the cats and fish then down to Lidl ,
We dropped our elderly neighbours off at the shopping mall first , they were just coming out of their door as we pulled off the drive.

DD back at lunch time so no need to see to the animals before hospital visit tonight .

                      Nanto
Always something gets in the way of plans doesn’t it , but it’s another job done.

                      Daisy
its odd when you have days where you feel you have been busy all day but not a lot achieved , in reality you have done more than you think 😁

                        Good morning everyone.

You were busy yesterday, Daisy, reading that list of tasks! I will write a bit more about the library somewhere else later.

Nan2, we have the mist too, I think it may be clearing a bit, but the forecast isn't good today.

Aquafit this morning then hopefully coffee with a friend/friends.
I started typing of the Minutes yesterday so I will finish that and continue packing. We don't go until Wednesday so I will finish packing tomorrow , but I want it all together today.

Good Monday morning, everyone. It's raining here.

I'm in a bit of a rush. DIL1 is coming down today to collect Bailey and I'd prepped lunch and dinner. Then she phoned and said could her Mum come with her (long story, poor lady) which was fine, but DIL is insisting on taking us out for lunch. So I've been juggling food round and now it's raining I feel I have to give the living room a quick dust and hoover. I'd expected us to be in the garden.

OH has taken the kit car to a friends to have new springs put on the front, so I expect he'll be out most of the day. We'll take the dogs out to the pub with us, but doubt if we'll be able to sit in the garden, which they would prefer!

                          I'll chat later.

Good morning, it is still hot here, 30+ yesterday and so humid, I will be pleased when it is cooler.. I have cancelled aqua as I wouldn't be able to get my tights etc on after the lesson with it being so humid.

They do forecast thunder storms later today, that may cool it down a little.

Enjoy your lunch out Daisy, I made zucchini and garlic soup yesterday, that is my lunch today.

Plant, I hope that the physio can help you.xxxx

Grey, miserable and drizzly here! Such a change from yesterday when it was beautiful. DD phoned and asked if I wanted to go to Tesco's with her ( she knows how to treat me!) So off we went, did her shopping then went up the hill to Amersham on the Hill and had a lovely wander. She showed me parts of the town which I didn't know about. Ended up me buting a dress in Fat Face and having cake and coffee in on of the cafes. Came home and I sat in the garden with my new book. Watched the new Grace on TV, somehow the dramatisation isn't as good as reading his books, but I did enjoy it!

Daisy, the paper I used is : WInsor& Newton, Watercolour paper, Cold Press, 300g/m 140lb ( no idea what these numbers mean!). I like the texture!

Gem, no the operation is not being done on the NHS! I dread to think how long I would have had to wait going down that route. Luckily I have private medical insurance.

Plant, I hope you're feeling easier today and that you've managed to get an appointment with a physio. I was impressed with the girl I saw recently. She picked up the problem very quickly and recommended the surgeon I'm seeing .

lizzie, DS says he's fed up with the high temperatures in Slovakia, was in the 30s again yesterday he says!

Have a good day whatever you're up to ladies xx

WG, it must be the same temperature in Slovakia as here!!! I just ventured out onto the balcony, 45 +, I soon came in again.
