      Ooooo missed the fun, but had a great evening with both my sisters and our OH's. No hair of the dog for me though, strictly water please with a slice of lemon.

            It's a wet dismal night, I'm glad to see the fire is lit in here.
            My OH has gone with a couple of friends to watch golf in the dark at her golf club!
            I shall settle down in here with a large glass of merlot and see if anyone drops in.

                    It is pouring with rain outside. My OH is out at a golf dinner. I'm very happy that she is getting a lift back. I hate driving in dark and rain and it's along a country road to get to the club.
                    I will stay warm and dry here in The Grannys Rest. Chocolate Baileys for me.
                    I know my friend Daisy hasn't had a good day, so there is a drink of her choice waiting for her when she next comes in.

                              Christmas decorations? Summer's only just finished. Won't they get all dusty and dingy by Christmas - it's well over a month away.
