    Good morning.

Scrambled eggs with smoked salmon and granary toast please. Orange juice with that, followed by a cafetiere of house blend coffee, and maybe a teeny tiny pastry

Coffee and a toasted teacake for me please to ward off pre-lunch tummy rumbles.

            Time for a little something
A pot of Lady Grey, please, and a scone with jam and cream.
I'll take this table in the window, in the sunshine.

Gem - that sounds lovely. I was busy gardening and was lucky to get a builder's brew in a chipped mug!

Mariella and the girls have been busy giving the Tea Room a patriotic look for the Queens 90th birthday today!
I love the flags, and red, white and blue balloons

Tea and a scone for me this morning please.

Too late for me to take a look tonight, but I'll pop in tomorrow.

I've searched high and low for our English Flag, but can't find it anywhere, so I'll leave the Union flag up for now.

Come and join me for a pot of tea and Mariella's special Full English to celebrate St George's Day.

                        Here we go.

A bit late for breakfast but I'll have the full English anyway and it can be an early lunch

                        Happy Saint George's Day !

Clover - well done! We'll hoist that immediately. Many thanks for finding it - it looks as though you've given it a good wash as well - full marks for Persil whiteness.

This full English breakfast could last all day. I'll just order another pot of tea.

                            Good find, Clover!

Yes, I'll have a coffee with you both - any excuse to avoid the ironing!

Yes the flag was looking a bit grubby,so a quick wash brought it back as good as new. I dried it outdoors and it didn't need i......g!
The breakfast was delicious by the way!

Clover - if you'd applied that hot metal thing to the flag the Cleaning Freaks would have been enrolling you in the CF Club for use. Glad you enjoyed the breakfast.

We need to continue our St George's Day celebrations in the Grannys Arms tonight with a few glasses of that Bulldog British Beer.
