Gem - thank goodness! I was worried you were going to start on the Christmas tree and decorations! I'll happily hang on to the autumn leaves until 20th December.

I think I'll just have a pot of tea, and maybe a toasted teacake.

LG - I hope the ocffee helped!

Daisy, I am not responsible for what the tea room staff do when I'm not here. They could take it into their heads to get out the Christmas decs at any time

I'll have a toasted teacake too, with a pot of Earl Grey.

I need a restorative cup of tea and one of those danish pastries, can't resist those.

Ummmm, in that case, I might have to have a stern word with them! they could put all those JD posters back up for now - cheer up the dark, dank November days!

Any number of JD posters is fine by me

I have had a busy, if bitty day. Time for nice pot of Earl Grey and crumpets with butter and raspberry jam.

Daisy, do you think we need to get Pest Control in??

Plant - Gem and I are sharing a bottle of Merlot in the Granny's Rest - come and give us a hand.

Gem - I don't think you need worry about pest control. They're only eating the biscuits, not the crumpets with butter and raspberry jam. and they're very cute.

Plant - no worries. See you there next time. As you might have guessed, Gem and I managed to deal with your share of the bottle of wine.

In fact I think I'll have an Americano this morning, and one of those nice buttery pains au chocolate, please, waitress.

Mimi - I don't believe it, but there's a big yellow blob in the sky, and the sky has gone a very peculiar colour - sort of blue!

But it's too chilly to sit outside in the Tea Rooms garden, so I'll go to that empty table by the window and watch the world go by with a pot of tea and a slice of that yummy-looking Dorset apple cake.

                              Hello everyone

Our new chef, Mariella, has decided to offer a Sunday roast in the tea room each week!
This weeks choice is lamb, with a vegetarian option for non meat eaters.
Lamb is my favourite, so I will book a table for 1.30 pm.
