Well Mimi, I called in this morning for a hot chocolate, and guess what? They had delivered the Christmas tree early!
Martha, Mariella and I decorated it, and the other decs will be up soon

Oh, I will have that hot chocolate while I tinker with the decorations, with marshmallows please.

After a morning on the allotment in the teeth of a biting cold wind, I'm more than ready for a bowl of Martha's warming Soup of the Day, a nice crusty roll and a hot chocolate.

The tree looks lovely - very festive, and the decorations are coming on nicely.

It's that time of day when you are not sure whether to go to the Tea Room, or Grannys Rest. The Tea Rooms won this time.
A nice pot of Earl Grey for me, and a toasted tea cake please. I have spent the afternoon writing Christmas cards and got them all done, so feeling pleased with myself.

I wonder who that gentleman in red is who is passing by??

Can I join you for a lovely hot buttered toasted tea cake and a nice cup of PG please, does anyone mind me slipping my shoes off and curling up on the sofa by the fire , feeling lazy I need a rest and a good gossip 😊

Oma. You looked so comfy & I didn't want to wake you so I put the throw over you. I'm just sitting & have nearly finished my hot choc. Off now to finish wrapping the Christmas presents. Sleep well dear friend. You deserve it.😴

Passing by the Tea room rather late and noticed there was still a light on - and there was Oma still curled up on the sofa, with the fire banked up and a little note from Mariella asking her to put the guard round the fire and slam the door behind her when she leaves. I didn't know whether to wake her up, but she looked so peaceful, so Oma if you're wondering where the fresh orange juice and mincepie came from, they are for you. It's a bit too early to put Santa's goodies out yet.

Well morning ladies the mince pie and orange juice went down well I was so cosy with the fire and comfy throw I decided to lock the door and stay over , I've banked the fire up put the coffee pot on and filled the tea urn all ready ladies for the morning crowd 😊
