Well went to the Range walked around and couldn't see anything I liked, so said lets have a look at the garden bit and the furniture , looked at the wind chimes was going to get one then changed my mind it would drive Storm mad
Walking around furniture bit and hanging on the wall was a large Canvas just what I was looking for ( Moroccan style) , £29.99.
No one was around so I just took it off the wall with the price ticket obviously the only one left , Got to the checkout and it went through at £10 another Bargain this week I'm very pleased

Had an eventful day bought a top at Marks & Sparks £ 29.99 reduced to £ 12 bought a necklace that took my eye cost more than the top ! Had a nice lunch with DD and then bought a handbag in the sale at House of Fraser 😀 came home with a dine in for 2 from M& S and a back ache, so rang OH who is still decorating no answer . We live up a hill and just wanted a lift home from the bus but no one answering rang 5 times was getting a bit annoyed with him, he said the phone has never rug here mmmm likely story checked phone and after some considerable time I found after buying new cordless phones I had blocked my own mobile 😡 Well at least I know it works lol

Morning ladies wet and dull hear , have shopping to do .DD goes on Holiday today , Storm staying at his Grans till Friday when we will have him , Still have the cats though .
Was in bed at 9.30 last night slept solid till 7am didn't even get up for the loo , my body just gave up fighting and let me sleep

Terrific storm here overnight, thunder, lightning rain and even hail!! Still feels very humid and the sky is very grey so maybe we're in for some more.

Qwerty, good way to check if the phone works .

No plans here for today, we'll just go with the flow. Looking after DDs springer this afternoon, so he'll keep us amused unless he flakes out from the heat! We don't take him out when he's here with us, running around the garden seems enough for him especially in this weather. Wears me out just watching him.

Yes, I am still here, and hopefully this is the last day of madness (for a while!). I've got so much catching up to do - a whole page full of 'blue posts', plus Chat for the last week! I tried to get online last night but the the internet and storm decided otherwise!


We're out for coffee and lunch today, allotment tonight, weather permitting.

Enfys - we had the storm too. It started just after 6 pm and was still going strong (and very loud) at 2.30 this morning. There'd been a bit of a break late evening, but there's no chance of ignoring it when Eva is shaking like a giant jelly and wanting to get as close to you as possible. Just hoping there isn't another storm today while we're out.

WI for me this morning and a visit to the bank. amazing storm yesterday evening, it knocked my television reception out for a time.

I think the storm was all down south. I moved my sunlounger inside and didn't have any windows too widely open just in case, but not even drop of rain up here.

Sad news from my ex husband this morning, His best friends wife finally lost her battle with cancer. She has had a long battle over years with many rounds of chemo and always bounced back. She was away with friends just this last weekend, so at least the end, when it came was mercifully fast. She leaves her husband. and son and daughter in their early 20's. RIP Leigh xx

Nanto its been a long time coming , I felt so much better today a lot more energy
