Another beautiful morning here,but i think thunderstorms are forecast.
Going into town shopping,got quite a long list,as we didn't go last week with hubby being busy.

Morning ladies , I'm still quite tired from yesterday , fell into bed last night only to be woken with cramp in my foot 😈 I'm not rushing around today I'm taking things slow , strip the beds throw the hoover around and not much else ,
It's sunny again but thunder apparently around 2 ish ,

Golf competition for OH, theatre for me this afternoon.
This morning I need to go to the library for my mum, but not planning to do much apart from that.

At about 3.30 this morning we had a spectacular thunderstorm! OH didn't stir at all,let lone wake up. while I was at the window watching. It's overcast here now and showers are forecast.

Thunder storms forecast here for around 3pm Clover! It is waits until then, I will be safely inside the theatre, and OH should be off the golf course!

Oh I do have a wonderful full life , today I was taken out again , this time to look at wood vices for his work bench in the shed
I cant contain my excitement
I stood looking and making the right sort of grunts I think till he decided what he wanted then had to listen to the report about the one he bought all the way home .
Eventually it started to thunder so the subject was changed before I made him pull up at the side of the road and I hit him around the head with a hammer
No idea why I have to go for these things too

Well Oma poor Brian has to put up with your Ikea visits,which I am sure fill him with delight, so fairs fair. Been a funny couple of days been feeling really unwell but can't put it down to any one thing,just feel totally out of sorts and a bit depressed. Need a kick up the backside I think. Haven't done much except walk the dog, make up memory boxes for E & N who are visiting tomorrow before they fly to Rome for half term. Was supposed to be making a quiche for tea but didn't feel up to it, so that will get done another day. Humid here although overcast,thunderstorms again tonight supposedly. Fingers crossed for better weather back soon.

Good evening ladies. I can see you've all been busy while I've been away. It was strange having no internet access, and I'll have to spend tomorrow catching up with all your news.

We had a long slow journey back home today - our 2 hour journey took just over 4 hours - but it is a Bank Holiday Saturday, and the whole country seemed to be on the move. I've posted the journal I wrote on Firday though.

Good night - sleep well. I hope we're not disturbed by thunder storms again tonight.

We didn't get the heavy storms that were forecast yesterday.
Had a heavy shower while we were in town,and only heard one rumble of thunder.

I really enjoyed Jane Eyre yesterday and was glad I went. Oma, I had exactly the same allergic reaction cutting through the market on the way to the theatre as we had the day before when we were there!
I missed a huge thunderstorm when I was in the theatre.

No much planned today, but OH and I are eating out tonight. I have a restaurant voucher which I was given for my birthday last year and which expires at the end of this month. I don't want to waste it, and it will be nice for us to have a meal out together before she goes away.

Good morning everyone.

You all seem to have been very busy while I've been away, and I haven't read the thread about the Northern mini-meet.

We were so lucky with the weather - and Clover I wondered if you were getting the same thunderstorm as us. We weren't that far away from you! I think I would have slept through it, but Eva woke OH, who thought I would enjoy the storm too, so woke me! The rain on the caravan roof was really loud and we were glad we hadn't left the roof window wide open - it's over our bed!! Eva was scared but settled down again quite quickly - at the end of our bed. We hadn't got the heart to send her back into her own basket!

Today, I'mn wading through a pile of washing and cleaning the caravan out ready for our next trip. OH is going down to the allotment to see how the weeds are growing! The tomatoes in the garden have shot up while we were away.

Gem - enjoy your meal out today.

Oma - I get taken on interesting shopping trips like that as well. I'm sure our comments on things like wood vices are important to our OHs!!!

LG - I hope you're feeling more upbeat today. Take it easy and give yourself a rest.

Let's hope the cooler weather will see off those headaches and migraines for everyone.

Morning ladies woke with a headache from hell , seems to be coming from my neck I must have been lying awkward and trapped a nerve ,

DD and SIL are taking us two GM's out to a posh hotel for tea at 4.00, it was a Christmas present. Hoping to see my GGS today or tomorrow, I haven't seen him for a week.
