Gem, I'm so sorry you are worrying about being able to hold your breath long enough. Can you do some visualising to calm down a bit. Or are you allowed to play soothing music during the treatment. I'm sure once you have had the first session you will feel more confident. I always feel a bit low after a holiday, but picturing some of the highlights might cheer you up. And, even better, planning your next one. 😘

No time to read or reply, as we have to get off to Leeds. I will later though.
DD3 and I are going to see Beauty and The Beast at the cinema this afternoon. If I am back from Leeds in time we will have lunch together first, if not we'll have coffee afterwards.

Morning ladies, felt very strange not having B beside me in bed. I hope he managed some sleep at his sisters I was naughty and allowed Shiloh on the bed with me, but he abandoned me in the night and went to his bed . Hoping for a calmer day today, Shiloh can return to walkies this morning, hooray as been a bit fraught trying to keep an energetic spaniel amused. Have a good day all peace and love x

Morning ladies plans changed again today , was going shopping but GS1 unwell so a day with us , he's coming down with a cold ,Dog was at Doggy day care all day yesterday he's worn out , lying actually snoring 😴😴😴 . must get some shopping tomorrow it's like old Mother Hubbard,s . Have Martin and partner coming tonight so won't get shopping tea time , some days just don't work out as you planned do they 😊

Good afternoon ladies. I'm not quite sure what happened to this morning, but the doorbell range at 9 am with someone to see OH and it's been non-stop since then. But I have managed to portion up a load more dog food for Eva, and prepare treats for the next 2 weeks for her. It's all hands to the pump because I'm not sure how much I'll be able to use the kitchen while the Velux windows are being put in there and the dining room, and the ceilings replastered. We might have to live on takeaways!

Gem - I'm sure everything went smoothly this morning - I was thinking about you - and you feel much more confident about it now. Enjoy Beauty and the Beast, and a nice girly afternoon with DD3.

LG - Is OH coming home today, or have you got another night without him. I bet Shiloh enjoyed walkies this morning after his enforced rest.

Oma - another friend and I always say you can make plans, but there's no telling if things will change! Perhaps there should be something like doggy day care for boisterous grandchildren! In our day, we used to run off our energy playing outside, but it's not easy for children to do that now. I hope GS1 is soon ok. Does he break up for Easter today?

Nanto - I hope you are having a good unplanned day. It's nice to have a day where you can just go with the flow. If you're enjoying lovely sunshine like us, it's warm enough to sit outside with a cuppa and a good book.

Good afternoon ladies. I don't seemed to have been able to even look up the last two days as I have been so busy . The painting of the kitchen and bathroom is now completed
There just remains the spare room and the bedroom as it now appears to be on my 'to do 'list . The spare room I might start next Monday but the bedroom ? I don't even know what sort of colours I want for that room.
What started off as just a fresh lick of paint has snowballed into the purchase of a new clock for the kitchen and new towels and curtains for the bathroom . I know that if I decorate the bedroom more purchases will be made.

How is everyone, I feel as if I have been away for months , have I missed any thing exciting ?

Hubby came home about 10am Daisy,didn't get much sleep so I have packed him off to bed for a couple of hours. I managed to get the electric sucky up thing around the bungalow and washed all the floors.3 lots of washing on the line. That's it folks, going to chill now and wait for Yodel to deliver my phone.I am not happy as they e mailed saying sorry we missed you yesterday, no way could they have rung the doorbell as Shiloh always barks when the doorbell goes.Also no card was left, think Yodel are telling me porkies.

You're forgiven though because you've been such a busy girl. We should know by now it's never 'just a lick of paint to freshen it up', but we fall into the same trap every time.

I think it's really hard to choose a colour scheme - we need to do the hall stairs and landing, and when the work is finished in the kitchen and dining room they will need painting as well. I sat with a huge shade chart last night going round in circles! I can see loads of tester pots will be needed chez Daisy.
