Oma - I hope your eyes are better now - it sounds very uncomfortable.
I've been wondering why I feel as though I can't keep up with everything, but tonight I've ralised that in the last 10 days I've only been at home for one whole day! Today GD2 was fretful and contrary. She's just cut a tooth and didn't sleep either yesterday or today, so she was tired and cranky. She'd come to me for a cuddle and as soon as I picked her up she's be fighting to go down again. She had no concentration at all so was getting frustrated with every toy we played with. The only normal thing was her appetite! When DIL brought GD1 home from school, she ended up taking GD2 back to work with her. It's one of the benefits of being self-employed, and today I was very grateful. So GD1 and I had a lovely, peaceful afternoon.
Tomorrow we're out for coffee and lucnh with ex-colleagues of OH's.

Good morning. It's lovely and sunny here at the moment so we are planning to do some work in the garden. We are looking after DD's springer spaniel today and he likes to "help" so don't know how much we'll get done when he's here !"Don't cry because it's over, smile because it happened." - Dr Seuss
