I checked FB this morning and saw a post from my sister (3 years younger than me) who lives in Wales just over the bridge. It says she is looking forward to going to the Hampton Court Flower Show today. I am quite hurt that she will be less than half an hour's drive away from me and never mentioned it. I know we are not going to be here this evening but I am still upset. It is not the first time this has happened, she and her husband went to visit his Aunt in Windsor which is 20 minutes in the other direction from us but didn't think to let me know so I could see them or decide to pop their heads in, it is not a big distance as we are right next to the M25 and M4. My other sister spent three days around the 02 last summer and I didn't find out until she posted on FB. 02 is not quite as close but not difficult for me to get to. I wonder how they would feel if I went to stay near them and didn't get in touch? Moan over.If you want to go fast go alone, if you want to go far go together

It's really sad Aggie. It was a lovely place where we all met and had some very happy times. I am sorry that it had to close, but once the decision had been made, and the notice saying so put up, Verity should have followed through. I look in from timr to time as I am still officially a moderator. I don't delete anything now, as it's pointless, and is Veritys responsibility.“A grandchild fills a space in your heart that you never knew was empty.” – Unknown

Oh Zizi I know how that feels my sister sometimes comes to our shopping centre and that is literally across the road from us but never calls in or tells me she's there . I visit her often but in 11 years we have lived in this house she has been once and that was when we first moved in , but if I have gone somewhere close to her and not called in she takes a right stroppIm not fat just 6ft too small

Have a good day everyone.
Damp and drizzly here which is such a shame as it's our village Carnival today and everyone works so hard.We live next to the playing field where the stalls and games are and people are battling on in macs and wellies setting up..Good old British spirit eh!
Qwerty those twinnies are lovely. It's wonderful how they've come on from when we first saw them as fragile little new-borns.

I have just had a look on there, there are lots of links to 'adult' sites, which I didn't click on .
Its horrible as lots of our chats are still on there, for any pervert to use. It can't be right that they can get away with it, isn't there anything we can do about it ?Bring me sunshine in your smile.

Well we trotted off to CostCo to get some bottled water, yes I know you can get it from the tap and I also have a filter jug but himself forgets to save the plastic bottles and ends up buying expensive brands whereas at CC 40 X small bottles are only about £3. So we went to spend £3 and ended up spending £347.44. We bought some lovely new pans £162 set of ten in a really nice Matt bronze colour, some new cutlery for £30, case of white wine, Bombay Sapphire gin (yummy) which was on offer, a white office lamp/USB thingie/pen holder for my new office space, socks for him and a couple of bits like orange juice etc. Then we went to Homebase to get paint brushes for kitchen painting.
We we are getting ready in a minute to get the bus to Terminal 5 for our relaxing evening with no mess and proper food. There is a spa there so I might have to have a massage or something similar. If you want to go fast go alone, if you want to go far go together
